I bought an Enigma 125cc scooter, Rust bucket.
I bought an Enigma 125cc scooter. Its two years old now and a total rust bucket. In hindsight I would not buy Lexmoto again , or take one free. 7000 miles, rocker cover bolts seized. Front and rear brake calipers seized. Took to my non lexmoto dealer and it took over a week to get the rear wheel off to change the tyre . They are cheap for a reason, they are garbage. Avoid at all costs. Buy a second hand proper Japanese brand , will last 10x longer and won't rust before your very eyes.
The Dealer , a chancer. Lexmoto have no record of my service history or warranty claims. Portman's of Glasgow.
Thanks for your response. What help have you offered?
NONE.
I sent you everything i could find.
You have done nothing , other than sell a rust bucket , the engine in which is unserviceable after 18 months.
I STAND BY my review. Avoid buying a Lexmoto bike, and better of buying a second hand Japanese bike.
My reviews and honest user based opinion will continue to be offered.
Please list the warranty claims.
Does not state anywhere in the pack I received with the bike that it was my shared responsibility.
I do not deny I was angry when I contacted you . After which I sent everything requested.
Still waiting on the help. So None, is an accurate statement, as is my opinion of your bikes.
My road tested bike by dealer , could have killed me it handled so badly. Warranty claim. I had to pay for resulting repairs from the faulty new bike so Chancer is accurate as is my opinion of your bikes .
You might want to check bike forums, it is a widely shared opinion.
My honest user based reviews will continue

Do not ever buy that!
Do not ever buy that!
Bought one an year ago because the price was attractive but if I could go back in time, I will go for a tradicional brand.
After 3 or 4 months from the purchase I have been having problems and visiting my mechanic every other week! Everything you can thing about, every single peace had given me headache and have been already replaced for a new one peace. And I use that for work and it is just giving me financial losses.
So please people think 5 times before buy it! Not worth the savings when comparing to a tradicional motorcycle brand.

Key broken
I have a Lexmoto aura for 13 months
the key has broken that caused it to fall out of a pocket and be destroyed
So I call lexmoto for it to be covered under the Warranty since it's a plastic key fob
And got told no that was not covered it would be user error and wear and tear after 13 months I totally disagree with this

I’ve owned the ISCA for over a year now and found it faultless. It starts on the button, rides without missing a beat and I didn’t bother having it serviced at the dealers (too far away so did it myself). I’m happy with this little bike 👍

Avoid it guys !!!! Don’t waste your money as i did !!!!!!
My brand new lexmoto echo 50cc is still in the garage after a month !!!!!! After 535 km done in 6 weeks broke down and the way things are going, it will probably spend more time with the garage than on the road !!! It toke a long time to discover the issue but when that was discovered I email Lexmoto for the part ! It wasn’t a surprise to find out that is out of stock ( the last one they pretend was delivered the day before I made the request )!!!! Lexmoto isn’t help you with nothing guys !!! Only advices on a broken new bike after 6 weeks of us !!! If you hear Lexmoto , just run as fast as you can !!!! I’m stuck now with a bike which I won’t be able to sell it neither cause I don’t want to put someone else thru same situation !!! I’m not mentioning the stress and discomfort this was caused to me and still is ( was my only possibility to reach to work ) , now I’m spending more time and money thanks to Lexmoto !!!!! Thank you Lexmoto for making another customer “happy” !!!!!

DO NOT BUY!
Had my LXR125 E5 for around 2 months now and already there is a problem. Contacted Lexmoto directly to get it fixed and they were happy to help and investigate the problem and got the dealer to repair it. However, after 2 weeks without a bike I finally got it returned (at my expense) to me only to find the issue still persists. Not happy at all!
They said the issue was with a "faulty batch casting" of the rim and that their technicians would inspect the new rim before sending it to the dealer. Obviously this hasn't been done. If I could get my money back I would!
For all those reading this review, do yourself a favor and buy a Jap bike. They are more expensive but believe me you will thank yourself for it.

My Vendetta 250
Bought Vendetta 250 on 1/7/21 from Ray Dentith Motorcycles in Purbrook. Just over two months later I have done over 2000 miles and enjoyed every moment. I have had first two services and since then have only needed to adjust the chain. Very simple. The bike is nice and responsive and happy across the rev range. I’ve been on three long trips with luggage and have had the occasional passenger. Also many local runs on both motorways and winding lanes. Bike took it all in its stride. No issues with tyres so far although not much wet weather use. Getting about 80 mpg (E10). Finish seems good overall but I have used acf 50 to help with any rust issues. I have done this on several bikes over the years. I fitted a flyscreen, tank rack and rear carrier and love the look. Overall it’s so far shaping up as a great buy. I’ve been riding for a long time and I’m always careful to make sure I check my bike over regularly - chain, oil, tyres, cables, fastenings, and keep everything well lubed as well as ensuring services are on time. This is my third Chinese bike and regular oil changes with high quality oil make a real difference. (The previous Chinese bikes were excellent too and I did 10000 miles over three years with no issues). I’m convinced a lot is in the PDI and the running in. I’ve read a lot of the negative reviews here but haven’t had similar issues to date. I’d certainly look at another Lexmoto in future based on current experience. I also recommend Ray Dentith whom I first bought a bike from (an MZ) in the 90’s !
Well done all round
Appreciation
I have had my lexmoto assault since 2016 I got it out of showroom new had one or two problems at the start but got fixed yes from my own pocket I called lexmoto today and was very angry but not abusive but was to the point after 2 years my model was Discontinued so now very hard to find new parts have to look for second hand parts but the member of the team that I spoke to was very nice and helpful even though in my eye I was being very rude if I was you I may of hung up the phone so thanks again Jamie H at lexmoto Very professional

Bought a lexmoto Diablo 125 about four…
Bought a lexmoto Diablo 125 about four months ago and all it’s done is be in and out of garage put me £500 down in repairs. Paid £1150. For it. And again today it’s cut out and died on me and couldn’t get recovery and had to walk it home for two hours. Caused me to be in pain and miserable. literally had many replacement parts put on it. Including an exhaust. I can again not get to work again. The bike is a joke never had problems like this before with any bike. Literally stressed me out so much. You really need to get your bikes designed better. And put better parts that are better quality when building them. Put me off of buying another one. I’m now stuck with a pile of junk that’s cost me hundreds of pounds to give me the same problem for the 4th time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to buy one.

Tempest 125
Bought a tempest 125 new in April from think bike gear in Leyland. I have been riding it through all weathers to and from work with occasional ride out. The was a fault with the fuel tank but this was sorted very quickly under warranty. The bike is great for a 125. The exhaust note really does turn heads and handles with ease. I would highly recommend and would definitely buy from you again

Lexmoto Apollo 125
Have been riding my new Apollo for a couple of months now, had a few hiccups to start with, not the scooters fault, had some modifications done, as I am disabled. Gremlins sorted out very quickly by Rightgear Motorcycles, Iver (where I got my scooter from). Since then it is running as sweet as a nut! The scooter handles like a dream and I cannot fault it. It is great commuting to work in heavy traffic, but is equally at home on a longer country road ride, of which I have done several.
Regarding Rightgear Motorcycles, I cannot give them enough praise! The service so far has been excellent, the whole staff are extremely friendly and the knowledge they possess is second to none. I need an adapted scooter and after trying for nearly twelve months I found Rightgear, they not only could do the adaptations, but didn't charge and arm or a leg! and they did them in a week! They delivered the scooter to my house, took my old scooter (Vespa). When I had a couple of issues regarding the adaptations they came and collected the scooter and once fixed dropped back off. Took my scooter for its first service a few weeks ago and again the service I received was first rate and it only cost me £50.00. Can't wait to go again when I have my next service at 1500 miles.
So to sum it up the Apollo is a great scooter handles great in commuter traffic and just as good on longer rides. Extremely comfortable and great riding position and all for under £3000 (including adaptations and City Max tyres).

Broken parts after 1 month
I bought the Lexmoto Vendetta 250 and after 1 month the horn stopped working and now the right rear indicator stopped working. I know this because many cars have honked at me when I'm turning right. Will never buy another Lexmoto bike again. Shocking quality even with a low price.

Lesson Learned
Even though I'm still technically a "learner", I rode a 125 back in the 80s, then for various reasons that are too long to go into, I gave up and never passed the full test. Nearly 40 years later, I'm back in the saddle, only this time I'm having far less fun.
First of all, and this is nothing to do with Lexmoto specifically, 4-strokes are very different animals to 2-strokes. And by "different" I mean worse. A lot worse. In comparison to the Yamaha RD125LC that I rode back in the 80s, modern 125s feel like driving a tank. They're sluggish, weigh an absolute ton, and struggle on even slight inclines, to the point that sometimes I would literally be faster getting off and jogging uphill.
The weight in particular is a problem in, what was for me, unexpected ways. Back in my reckless youth, I was forever crashing the Yamaha, and yet even after bouncing it around like a ping-pong ball, there was barely a scratch on it. God help you if you even so much as drop a modern 125. The damage you'll cause is simply shocking, as it destroys itself under its own bloated weight.
Now to this bike in particular, and I suspect a lot of what follows will also apply to other Chinese brands.
First of all, the tyres are useless to the point of being actually dangerous. The compound is simply too hard to be suitable for our typical British weather. Even on dry days, if your tyres clip just the edge of the white line, slight cracks in the road, drain covers or any other obstacle, you're toast. In wet conditions the ride is nothing short of terrifying. On Britian's infamously pothole infested roads, where trenches are dug for miles along even newly resurfaced roads, there's always a "line of death" that's hard enough to navigate in a vehicle with good tyres, but on Lexmoto's tyres it's suicidal.
Worse still, there's absolutely no way to replace the tyres with a different make, say Dunlop or Pirelli, because they're a completely proprietary size, along with the wheels. When I first requested this at the dealership, they told me they'd have to cut and weld the frame to increase the clearance. Not only are the wheel sizes proprietary, but they're not even the same standard. The front is metric and the rear is imperial, or vice versa. In order to do something as simple as upgrade the tires on this bike, you'd need to turn it into a custom chopper, like something from Orange County Choppers. I mean, seriously?
And it's not like this is a vanity mod, or something. It's a life-saving necessity.
Case in point: I was riding to the first service, the 300 mile service, when my bike yeeted itself. How's that for irony? I was travelling in a perfectly straight line, no sudden moves, at about 10 mph, slowly coming to a stop in front of a pedestrian crossing. The road was wet, but then so was the last 20 miles, so I thought nothing of it. I gently applied the brakes, and one second later found myself lying in the middle of the road with a ten-ton bike on top of me.
So what happened? There were no other vehicles, or objects of any kind, involved. The brakes had locked, and the grip-less tyres had spun out, low-siding the bike into the tarmac. Honestly, it felt like Hulk Hogan had picked up me and the bike, and smacked it into the road. It was savage.
The worst part, though, was the damage. To say it was extreme would be an understatement. The frame literally snapped in half. On a bike travelling at 10 mph. In a straight line.
What exactly is this frame made of, plastic?
So me and my plastic, ten-ton bike with grip-less tyres limped into the dealership, and I proceeded to empty my bank account.
And that, incredibly, is just the prologue to this endless tale of failure.
Like many others have complained, my chain snapped after just a few weeks. The headlight is garbage, you can barely see a few feet in front of you. The electrics are constantly dying, I suspect because there's absolutely nothing to shield them from our glorious British weather. Can I ask, in all seriousness, do they even get rain in China, because sometimes I get the impression that they've never heard of it. Most recently, the speedo died. Stone dead. No life at all. A replacement has been on backorder for months, with no end in sight. Did I mention that my first MOT is due in a few weeks, and that this bike is my one and only means of transport?
What a total cluster.
When I add up all the money I've wasted on this pile of junk AFTER I bought it, added to the initial price, I could have bought a REAL bike from Yamaha or Honda, and saved myself both a fortune and endless misery.
Lesson learned. The hard way.
