Unethical content creation, harassment
Inaccurate information, defamation and not accountability. Lexis Nexis is harassing me through my car insurance, consumer loans and student loans. I hope some legal court hold them accountable. I never subscribed to them. They have file with all my information that I never consented to provide, I do not care about third party subscription. Her marketing and content creation it's unethical.

Sent us invoices dating back to 2024 - before they acquired IDVerse. Noone will answer our emails seeking an explanation. Noone responds to messages on their contact page. Let's hope that their ID verification is better than their accounts and customer service team.
LexisNexis is the Worst
LexisNexis completely misrepresented the terms of my contract. I was told I could cancel after switching firms, but that turned out to be false. Once you’re locked in, they don’t care about customer service—only about getting new business. Dean was especially rude and unprofessional in my dealings with him. This company will say whatever it takes to get you to sign, then leave you stuck. Proceed with caution.

SCAM???
As others have mentioned, my insurance went up based on information from LexisNexis. I too have a nearly perfect credit score and pay off my credit cards in full each month. I attempted to get my Consumer Disclosure Report, which I had to request online. It took them six sheets of paper to provide me with a link, not the report, but a link supposedly to the report along with a PIN. It took several tries, but the PIN finally worked. Why didn't it work the first half dozen times I tried? That's anyone's guess. I then had links to two pdfs. But both links gave me an error message! Are you kidding me??? I tried emailing and got this response: "Your comments and questions are very important to us. Unfortunately, we are unable to authenticate your identity and therefore cannot process your request." It then proceeded to give me reasons why the authentication process may have been unsuccessful, all of which had to do with submission of documents that were at no time requested. I'll try calling but I don't hold out much hope based on other reviews.
I received a letter from Allstate…
I received a letter from Allstate denying me insurance because of my consumer report with Lexis Nexus that I did not apply for. I asked the representative for physical address to send a certified letter. The representative said we only have a post office box. I informed her you cannot send a certified letter to a post office box. I then asked you you’re telling me you don’t have a physical location where you have office equipment your servers that houses all the information that you gather on consumers.She said no. at this point I was done with the conversation because I can’t deal with stupid people!
LexisNexis will screw you with no recourse
I requested my information that caused my insurance to go up. They sent me a URL and PIN. The URL worked but not the PIN or the live agent phone number they provided. I can not contact the company or get the data. I am left with increased insurance and no ability to contact the company that has caused this problem.
Something screams fake about this company!
I have a feeling we'll be seeing bad things about this company in the future! My insurance went up because of these guys and supposedly its my credit or accounts or something against my name....the only thing is, I literally have an almost perfect score! House is paid off, no loans, no debt. I pay off my credit card every month. I haven't opened up new accounts in years and I use several accounts for business and credit points. NOTHING is out there against me. But supposedly my State Farm insurance is going up because of this company! So then you try to call and NO ONE breathing answers. I requested a copy of my report today. We'll see how long it takes, and judging on how difficult it was to get the report initiated, it'll be a joke. Like I said, I think this company is going to end up fake or overinflated. I wouldn't doubt most of the work behind the scenes at this place is algorithms and unmanned computers.
Be very careful before trusting…
Be very careful before trusting LexisNexis with your business. For nearly 10 months, I dealt with account suspensions, incorrect billing, and endless back-and-forth emails just trying to fix their mistake. Every time I thought it was resolved, I’d get locked out again—costing me time, deals, and revenue.
Instead of owning up to their failure and making it right, they threw some credits my way but still demanded I pay for months when I couldn’t even use the service. If you’re considering using them, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere unless you want to risk similar headaches.

Received a piece of mail falsely claiming i have 4 negative credit marks. OK?... when I have all 3 bureaus have been frozen for 3 years..

Zero service
I asked for a claim history on a house online, since no one picks up the phone. The cut and paste response, that I've received three times does nothing to actually address or answer the question asked. Simply ridiculously terrible customer experience.

LexisNexis reported my accident twice, only a year apart, making it look like I had two accidents in the past two years. Now, my insurance company has almost doubled my rates! I also applied for a loan recently and was denied credit because, even though I have a good credit rating from the three credit bureaus, Lexis Nexis had me in the mid 500's. Totally bogus redundant service that is not needed!
Cancellation
I closed my Law office in June 2024, but remained licensed as a lawyer so I might pick up some per diem work. I contacted customer service in July and asked to cancel. I was told that to cancel I had to have a service rep. I was advised they would have one contact me . Instead they continued to send bills and overdue notices to which I continued to reply to tell them I was cancelling and they had not contacted me, and of course that I wanted the invoies after the date of my call voided. Finally I was contacted by Email In October . Despite all my previous requests they again wanted confirmation I was asking to cancel. It was given. They confirmed that they would cancel and waive payments but REQUESTED CONFIRMATION FROM THE LAW SOCIETY I WAS RETIRED! I am appalled at the temerity of the organization To require any explanation as to why I cancelled the service, but more offended that I need proof, which I view as akin to requiring their permission.
This company is a total waste of time
This company is a total waste of time. There is no customer service. I called their CS line and waited 3 hours to get through. They disconnected the call twice and were no help whatsoever.
I got a letter from Progressive Ins.
I got a letter from Progressive Ins. that included a copy of a negative report they received from LexusNexus.com about me. The letter also gave me instructions on how to get an explanation from LexusNexus.com. I sent a letter to LexusNexus.com requesting that information via Certified Receipt Requested mail on 5/15/24. I received verification 6/10 that they received my letter 5/25. On 7/6 I got a response from LexusNexus.com, "We cannot provide you with the information because we do not know who you are." "Provide us with your full SS#." Then how did they know who I was when they sent the initial report to Progressive Ins. I am disgusted!
No concern for consumers. Fail to provide me with my file copy
I tried to contact Lexis Nexus and get a copy of my data from them. No matter what documents I supply to them they rejected my request. I sent them my passport my driver's license a bank statement a notary ID a pistol permit with a photo and my social security card from 50 years ago. They simply sent back the same standard letter saying bye ID couldn't be authenticated. They totally work for the insurance and credit industry and don't give a crap about the consumer. Also of course they are violating federal law by not providing me with my file data.
Update: After I complained and threatened them, they sent me instructions on how to get my report/file data online. Case#/Password, etc. FAILED to work. Called them, they couldn't get it to work (after grilling me on my ID for 10 minutes). Said they would MAIL me a paper copy.
