LETTINGS INTERNATIONAL NO CARE FOR HOUDING TENANTS with regret that on am…
Its with regret that once again I am having to write a review on the lack of care Lettings international have for the tenants especially the ones with NHG housing association. The lift is not working and has not worked
now for over 24 hours. Having called the lettings emergency line yesterday to ask them to send an engineer I was assured that the person was on the case. Imagine my dismay and of all the other tenants of carmel house when at 2.30pm the NEXT day the lift has not been fixed. There is only one lift in the building so it essential that its maintained. There is a lack of care and consideration for the residents with no communication that the lift is out of action and they are on the case. Nothing to say we are even sorry for out lack of managing your building. So having returned from a shopping trip I was faced with having to carry my heavy shopping up 7 flights of stairs with no assistance offered from lettings international. I'm a reasonably fit person the shopping was heavy my back is now sprained or strained and I only managed to get the shopping up with the kind help of one of the residents who saw me struggling. One of my other neighbour's had to negotiate 5 flights of stairs with a broken foot another with a pushchair. The lack.of information and I still have no idea when the lift will be repaired means that its difficult to plan my days as I have to take into account the journeys up and down stairs. I look forward to some proper care an management from a company who say they to but their action show another side

Your feedback is always important for us to improve our services.
We have taken your review into consideration and investigated the matter. We found that the lift broke down due to unforeseen circumstances on Sunday. This was not reported to the lift company until Monday morning due to this there was a delay, however the lift was fixed following day.
We understand this is frustrating and inconvenient to take stairs especially if you are carrying shopping. We are sorry you had this experience. Rest assured the lift was fixed in timely manner.
