As a former Registered General Nurse (RGN) and Physiotherapy Professional (P.T.), endowed with four academic degrees and in all my working now studying at home career . Reminds me of immersed in high-pressure disciplines, I have born Yet never have I beheld one whose intellect, sagacity, composure, and divine as Ms.Joys’.

Wherefore has the recognition of this peerless lady’s endeavours been so tardy? Wherefore has her promotion not been enshrined in due recompense?

They said on their website the word RACE is “The categorisation is rooted in white supremacy and efforts to prove biological superiority and maintain dominance over others.”
Wow, not biased at all. The black panthers never existed or any other supremacy group.
Weird that. Imagine these people taking care of your case 🤣

Trying to sell a property and complete their useless forms. They state 'professional excellence' yet their members send out nasty photocopies of PDF forms that are difficult to complete. They request duplicate information, are not client friendly and are extremely difficult to use. I am surprised they do not ask for form completion with a quill pen.

I have tried using the website a few times during the past few years and the 'search for a solicitor' facility is total waste of time. None of the solicitors I've contacted have ever dealt with the area of law that I searched for. USELESS!!

I should have read the reviews before contacting them.
It was utterly useless and a waste of time. They gave me the details of 3 solicitor firms, but none of them work in the area of law I asked for!

I contacted law society and all I can say is that I was disgusted by their attitude. When the first operator answered me, the connection got lost after 10 seconds. When the second operator answered me, it seemed like he was on drugs because the speech was very hard to understand and he was speaking like he almost was going to pass out. When I finally got connected with an adviser, the lady didn't listen to my story. She insisted that she needed to address specific questions, questions especially made to avoid extra work or solutions. Their law firm was closing at 17:00. I started the chat with the adviser at around 16:50 and from 16:53 until 17:01 I was kept on hold... When she finally returned to the conversation she told me that I didn't give time to the employer to resolve this issue and for all I say I need to have proof. I told her that The employer had enough time, since was 22/Nov/24 and it is more than one month in which my employer had enough time to resolve this issue. When I told her that I had all the proof, including medical paper, and shift data, she told me that their process of verifying the information is a long process of up to 3 weeks time. I realized that was a mistake to call them and I told her to have a nice day and ended the conversation.

The legal system in the UK is broken and is irreparable
I think it would be better served if lawyers were sacked and judgements were genuinely made by our piers
The Blair government infected the system with a doctrine that has spread throughout the legal system like a pandemic. The judgements and sentences leave the general population with open mouthed astonishment on a daily basis
So out of touch it's unimaginable how they can live with themselves because they actually know what reactions their behaviour create

what a load of cods wallop; every lawyer and judge on the planet gets a free pass for inept, whether they are molesting interns, giving NHS Southampton paedo-trician diary thieves, or themselves a free pass for hiding evidence.

This bad review is for the Law Society NI. I am disgusted with it. I mention 2 people Ms Halliday so called complaints officer and Dunlop another shocking person. Ms Halliday dismissed all my just complaints re K NEARY, a so called solicitor, who has been ruthlessly persecuting me, a disabled 69 year old lady, for 18 months now. Dunlop sent me a disgusting letter full of shocking libels. I shall mention another woman Ms McCree who would do nothing either Let the Law Society NI see this, the UK branch did nothing to me, a very genuine, very terrible experience in N I

The Law Society. About as useless as a pet rock.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, WORST EVER, THEY DONT CARE, ONLY INTERESTED IN MONEY, THEY DONT HELP AT ALL, AWFULL PLACE, AWFULL REPRESENTATIVES, PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOT. THEY WONT HELP.

They appear to understand gibberish as they give useless, meaningless, gibberish, trash service. Just another great british waste of time.
Totally in line with the ombudsman wet rag services.

The Law Society is a another waste of space alongside the Legal Ombudsman and the SRA - the legal profession does not answer any questions, they give grey answers, 90% of the time they mislead, bully and blank their customers, they charge the earth despite loosing court cases and they get away with murder - most corrupt profession on earth - thats what they call civil society in this country- lets have a debate if you know your stuff - will contact Channel 4 to see if they wish to organise one - I know how my role is regulated.

Must be the most irrelevant organisation in the country. They just act as lackeys for the SRA. Everyone knows that like the SRA they are just liars but they still consider themselves to be important. If only to themselves.

Completely useless service they have me just random numbers and no suggestions at all and not even polite

I have email The law Society and still no response or even an acknowledgement,
They are either constantly in training and still do not answer the phone after holding over one hour.
Like most organisations DWP, local government and NHS the Law Soceity is another awful sergice. Probably also working from home and even on the remote occasion they may decide to answer the phone you are then disconnected. i have been generous with mwith my star rating.

The Lax Society. I must have sent 5 emails to this place not once did I get a reply. I journeyed to Chancery Lane to the society base to ask why the lawyers don't work for us. I was told by the receptionist that there are no lawyers in the building. It is just for events etc and to go online. There was a bar in the building and a bench but it was one that serves alcohol. The best of luck to anyone trying to find a lawyer.

Draconian, antiquated and not fit for purpose.

Their website never works properly and the telephone manned service only ever put you through to unmanned areas or non functional lines.

I would say useless but I think that to be too complimentary.

In the past few years, I have been referred to Law Society for 2 entirely separate and unrelated matters - the first of which I went in blindly, never having experienced the Law Society before and having complete blind faith that they would point me in the right direction, and naively persevered with all the dead leads they gave me for way too long (until finally my matter was "out of time". The complete and utter uselessness of their service should have been glaringly obvious after 10 or so dead leads (to solicitors who couldn't or wouldn't help me) but for some reason I kept trying, thinking I'd just been unlucky. BUT NO. 8 MONTHS LATER.... I'm STILL phoning and emailing endless lists of solicitors [near me who specialise in the relevant areas of law and take legal aid, or so I'm told] and getting shunned by them. And believe me, this isn't because I don't have a leg to stand on in this case. I absolutely have a case. There is something much more amok here and I am increasingly getting the feeling it's sinister.
The second matter just came up more recently (and my case might even be stronger on this one) - and yet again, I was referred to the Law Society (all fingers point straight there for some reason - given my experience, I don't see why they come so highly recommended when half the time they misinform you and refer you to solicitors don't provide the services you need). Anyway, back to the drawing board, I earnestly set about calling the numbers given, yet again. I figured, since this was a different matter, and a different area of law, I might have a different experience. BUT NO. Stunningly, it was just as bad this time. And now I knew for sure that it wasn't because of my case that I was having this experience. It wasn't in any way caused by the specifics involved. THIS WAS ACROSS THE BOARD WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN ANY CASE. It's been an eye opener, and a very jarring one at that. I was totally naive to the reality before. I thought we lived in a just society, or at least one which strives for justice, even if it often missed the mark. I thought that solicitors were passionate people who love nothing more than to fight for the underdog, the weak, the disadvantaged, the vulnerable. I was wrong. And I have to say this awakening has affected my mental health and my outlook on the world deeply. I find myself depressed and extremely demotivated at this new knowledge I am privy to. I don't quite know what to do with it. But my feeling is that we the people shouldn't accept this reality anymore.
