Lawpay is a user friendly for attorneys and clients and has been hands down, the easiest, least aggravating platform I use in my practice.

It is easy to track the transactions, which account money went into, etc. It is easy for our office and our client's to use. I love it!

If there was to be one change, it would be the way it communicates with the bank so I understood some of the coding on my bank statement better.

Have so many convenient options for clients to pay.

The credit card and debit card fees are higher than the average. Affirm (client care) takes a long time to deposit funds into the account. The 5% fee charged by Affirm is very pricey.

Easy to work with.

We should have an option to also send the receipt via text (providing a number) not just email.

Law Pay understands attorneys requirements regarding trust funds. Most credit card processors are not aware that they can't deduct their fees from a trust account. My credit card transaction are always processed quickly. It is very easy to check whether a client has paid, just by logging into the portal. I am able to include a payment link on emails, correspondence etc., and my clients all love it. I even include a payment link stored as a text shortcut on my iPhone. When I type $$$ the client is sent the link! I have been using them for at least 5 years (pretty sure longer) and I could not be happier.

The search area does not work half the time. And it would be nice to search under reference name. Also the refund area does not work properly.

LawPay has made accepting credit card payments much easier and makes it less likely that there are mistakes in your accounting. I have only had to use help services once but they were very quick and helpful! Highly recommend...

Very easy to use. Very intuitive. On the rare ocassion I have had to call support, they answer promptly and hve been able to resolve my issues immediately. Would have given them 5 Stars ***** but their clearance times are a bit too long. Seems like charges take 3 business days to clear. My prior credit card processor cleared in 1 business day. They really need to work on that.

Website is getting the law office great leads and the price is very affordable

Law pay is easy to use and the links for payment and options for payment plans are a great tool to increase case flow and payment of retainers and balances due

I like the ease of use. I think it is safe and user friendly.

This is the worst payment portal I've ever seen. As they proudly state, it's built for lawyers. I had to call (ca-ching$$$) just to figure out how to navigate. The card info is ok except it doesn't offer a clue how to enter dates. I had to guess 4 times before I got it and the incorrect prompt was still up. Finally, and most disconcerting, the payment wasn't credited to my own attorney. It went to LaCourse Law instead. I now have no record that I paid my bill.
If you're trying to make a payment to your lawyer do not use this service. Ask if they will accept something real, like zelle or PayPal.
