The quality of the plants and the service is absolutely terrible. The plants arrived in appalling condition over 50% were dead or near dead and did not survive. After a delay of nearly 2 weeks they were replaced after daily e-mails from me but with days of delay before they ever respond. Whoever owns this company should hang their heads in shame. Quite simply DO NOT buy from them and hopefully someone, with some concept of "customer service" will buy this business. They are a disgrace and a shambles.

I can add my poor experience to the ones below. Ordered 6 white lavender on 22nd May. I have still not received them, despite the website stating all orders up to 31st May dispatched. I emailed and received a cut and paste response from their webpage. I ordered these to use in a planted church display for my daughter’s wedding on 29th July. Still no response from the last email I sent. No dispatch notice received either. Looking at these reviews I am going to give up on receiving them and go somewhere else as I need healthy plants for a start and can’t wait for them to ‘perk up’ if they even arrive.

Avoid . I never write reviews normally, but feel compelled to alert others about how bad this company is Plants arrived two weeks late. They had been hacked down were terrible quality and tiny size for 1 L pots. I should have read the reviews .

Still waiting after a month for a small order - generic email responses. Total rubbish - AVOID!

Update - eventually got refunded but only when I started the chargeback credit card process and threatened legal action. Research has since shown me that the company went into administration last year... wish I'd checked them out on here beforehand. Wasted me time and angst but at least I got my money back. SCAMMERS!

Same as all the other reviews. Ordered nearly a month ago and emailed over 5 times without any response. I got my first reply today saying they had refunded my order - no explanation as to why my order was cancelled and why it has taken them a month to decide they aren’t going to fulfil my order. It’s absolutely disgraceful that they’ve had my money for a month and obviously had no intention of ever sending any lavender. I will never use this company again and I urge you not to waste your money either. Go to hedgesdirect instead.

Following on from my last post - it is now the 21st of June and still no refund. Firstly they claimed my order had never been received and they had no knowledge of my order but would still issue a full refund. When I asked how they knew how much to refund me for if my order was never received they back-tracked and claimed they had made a mistake and my order was received, had been sent out but had got lost in the post.
I will be taking this matter to trading standards and my credit card company. It’s disgusting how they can get away with this.

2nd July - still no refund. Legal action

To Lavender World - instead of replying to me and trying to justify your appalling service, why don’t you use your time to refund ALL these people on here that have wasted their hard-earned money with you. It’s not right or fair - I don’t know how you sleep at night quite frankly. You’re a total scam - just read your reviews!

I ordered 6x hidcote. They took ages to arrive, contact with customer service is only via email and a poor response is given. That said when the plants arrived they were well packed and in good condition.

Same tale for me. No lavender delivered. No one returns my emails. It seems to be borderline fraudulent. No phone number on website as others have noted.

It's a total shame as i have ordered from this site multiple times over the years and they have always been prompt and the plants have always been high quality.
My order from the 4th of May 2023 has still not arrived (currently 14th of June) and my emails have had generic responses. I have made multiple requests for the order to be cancelled and refunded and am now contacting the credit card company.

I have ordered from this supplier in the past and was quite happy with my orders. When they advertised a planter that was being made for them, I was willing to pay in advance and wait for delivery. Months later I realised I had never received it. I tried to contact them by phone and was told by the person who answered they had no phone number but she could give them a message. No success and I sent several emails and it was months before I got an answer. The employees excuse was that their supplier didn’t make the planters, however, Lavender World hadn’t contacted me to tell me that despite sending me frequent emails. Thinking that they may be struggling after Covid, I offered to take a voucher and buy something else. Since my supposed voucher was issued I have been unable to use it as their checkout procedure only gives me the option of paying by credit card. I realise I won’t get my money back and I would caution any one who intends to do business with them to find another lavender supplier.

I placed a £3k order at the beginning of April for a beginning May delivery.

Long story short, they didn’t arrive…they were promised to be delivered on various days and this is didn’t happen.

After giving them 1 last chance to respond to emails, I gave up today and have requested a chargeback from my credit card company.

To say the experience has been poor would be an understatement. The lack of communication, the blatant lies in the emails they chose to respond to, and then the non-existent reply to the last emails…well it’s all a bit frustrating to say the least.

Lesson learnt to read reviews before placing large order again.

I have got off lightly compared with other customers' reviews of lavenderworld.co.uk, in that I have received plants, but not in accordance with the order. I paid an additional £7.99 for "next working day delivery", and placed an order at 10.00am on a Friday morning. Their website states "Order placed Monday - Friday before 12pm: Delivered next working day". I therefore expected delivery on the Monday, and arranged for a contractor to do the planting the next day, as I am elderly, and of course I had to pay him.
The plants arrived on WEDNESDAY, with the courier paperwork showing the plants were collected on the Tuesday, not on the Friday.

They initially replied to me apologising for the "confusion". Not on my part!

No phone number on the website is a big red flag.

They are ignoring my subsequent emailed requests for a partial refund, and so at the moment I am disputing the transaction with my cc company.
For all the reviewers who have not received plants after an extraordinary amount of time, I suggest you request a "section 75" chargeback from your cc company.
I will not give them any more business.

Have been waiting a month for delivery, response to email enquiries is cut and paste giving no definitive answers or delivery dates. I found their telephone number but it just rings out. I have now requested a full refund via email, and am just waiting to see whether that will materialise ??? Terrible company to deal with, wish I’d read all of these reviews before ordering.

Plants were delivered super condition and ready for planting

Order placed on the 11th May and it’s now the 9th June. No correspondence from the company except an automated response to my chasing email. Avoid.

There seem to be quite a few negative reviews of this company, but my experience of dealing with them has been positive. I've placed 2 orders this year. Admittedly, the latest one took a couple of weeks to arrive, but the website informed customers of the expected delays. As I'm about the go on holiday, I needed the plants to be delivered: my email was promptly answered and the plants arrived well packaged and in excellent condition on the day they promised. I appreciate that this is probably the busiest time of the year, hence the delays some people are experiencing - but to be fair to Lavender World, that has not been my experience.

Have not had any problems and the lavenders have been in fairly good condition when they arrive

Plants soon perked up after their journey with a little water and look splendid. Looking forward to seeing them grow on
