Awful company. My mum got a £1 coffee machine. After finally trying to cancel and being informed it was 7 orders needed I waited, to then be told it was seven AFTER the first (so 8 then). Also the £1 coffee machine took the first order to £50.50 with free delivery, then the next order was £49.50, so like £5 for delivery (luckily I caught on before these scammers got me).
Cancelled a recent subscription and opened a new one. They sent me the old one (cheaper of the two) and have cancelled it. I haven't got the new subscription, but have been charged. I just know this company is hoping I don't notice, because I got an order.

I have a machine and I like their coffee, but my god, these people are vile. Like how hard up are ye for a few extra pounds?

Poor communication and a terrible website that doesn’t save updates. My subscription was cancelled without written notice, then I was asked for full payment even after offering to restart it. Customer service was unhelpful and inflexible throughout. My Mod A MIA Idola machine is also very temperamental — the handle pops up mid-brew, ruining the coffee and wasting pods. Avoid!

Be warned that their "£1 coffee machine" offer is not what it seems. More like £145! I have been a customer of Lavazza for a decade, have bought many machines from them and thousands of pods - I was a big fan. But their offer is misleading.

Disappointed that the non stick coating on my milk frother started peeling in less than 9 months but my experience with customer services was good. Response times were fine and they replaced the unit.

I've had Nespresso machines for over 15 years. I was in Italy recently and stayed in an apartment that had a Lavazza A Modo Mio Deséa machine. I was so impressed by the quality of the Lavazza coffee so I purchased the Lavazza A Modo Mio Deséa machine when I got back home to London. I've now also purchased the Lavazza Assoluta Bean to Cup machine (on subscription) which is fantastic. I can honestly tell you that these Lavazza coffee machines and the coffee is far superior to Nespresso! If you like coffee and are thinking about buying either a capsule or bean to cup machine (or both, like me) you will not be disappointed with Lavazza.

Produces good foam and heats milk well but markers for milk are impossible to see. If I hadn’t thrown away the packaging I would return it

Purchased a Lacazza Milk Easy 3 months ago. Often fails to start and has to be moved about on the base several times.

Sent an email to customer Services at Lavazza, what a waste of time! They contacted me and said I had to perform a video meeting while I showed them what the issue was. I pointed out it was intermittent and would prefer to return machine for repair but they state they don't repair machines.

Also keep on about a serial number beginning SN but there is nothing on the base or box that matches this. I've sent pictures of both but they've just ignored that.

They are obviously hoping I will go away and I probably will as its too much hassle for £50 but I will never use this company again.

Terrible customer service. Amazing coffee and reasonable price (compared to competitors brand) BUT…… I’m so so fed up that on a subscription that every time now my card has to be reentered as it says it’s not valid. Only ever had this problem with Lavazza, resulting in having to reenter details and delaying delivery. Then it declines again and I have to call customer service. They make out it’s my problem as they say the amount must have changed! This is rubbish as regularly the same value and even on deleting and reentering details at the end of updating a delivery- it cancels. I love my coffee but seriously thinking of leaving due to all the issues & customer service saying they are still looking into it 18 months down the line & they are extremely unhelpful & on occasion, quite rude !

I've been using the A Modo Mio Jolie & Milk Evo since purchasing direct from Lavazza in April this year; the machine is very well made and is really easy to use - it consistently produces good coffee though I haven't yet decided upon my favourite capsule / flavour. The combined milk frother is also excellent. So, all in all, I'm very pleased. But there's one thing that stops me giving 5 stars and that's the noise - the coffeemaker is disappointingly noisy but I guess it's just something you have to live with. In contrast, the milk frother is virtually silent.

My machine failed a few months outside of warranty but they ‘can’t do anything’ they won’t repair even at my expense! Paid almost £250 for it and about £20 per month on pods since and they won’t do a thing!
They claim to be an eco aware company trumpeting their eco friendly combustible pods but once the machine is two years old they want you to send it to landfill- I will never buy another Lavazza product again- disgusting service!

Subscription service is awful - if you lose or change your debit card you can't change it via the website, as this is bugged, and then they will randomly charge you an excessive cancellation fee.

If you eventually get though to customer support to pay and complete your subscription they'll refuse. It's like the easy jet excess baggage model - avoid like the plague!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took around 3 months to finally get a replacement machine. After countless emails and a "video phone" investigation.
When the replacement packs up I'll go elsewhere for my coffee

I’ve recently purchased a Lacazza Milk Easy when I say recently I mean less than a week ago.
When I unpacked it for the first time it didn’t work, I’ve checked the fuse and cable everything looks as it should.
I then sent an email to customer Services at Lavazza what a JOKE!!! They contacted me and performed a video meeting while I showed them what the issue was, they concluded yes the machine isn’t working and there’s nothing they will do about it!
Pathetic customers service attitude.

Had a problem with the eco pods not puncturing properly in my A MODO MIA machine, causing hot water to pour into the pod catcher and no coffee.
Bought a new machine but same problem.
Called Lavazza UK to warn them that their new eco pods' skins appeared too thick (never had a problem before with the foil topped ones) and after supplying them with relevant evidence they said they would pass it on to their R & D team.
Without asking, they then conmensated me with a box of pods - hopefully they'll work!
Throughout, they appreciated my feedback, listened, understood the problem and were prompt and polite.

Dropped my coffee machine's water tank Saturday evening. Ordered one from Lavazza. Expected not to have a replacement for 5 to 7 days. Monday before lunch time... new tank arrived! Impressive! Many thanks.

Very poor service.
Got my subscription cancelled, money taken out of my account but no products have been delivered just because they increased the prices, which required a payment card update - how Pre-historic - (which I’ve done 2x)and don’t have a seamless update in place! So the card update didn’t work for the subscription to continue but it worked for them to take money for an unsolicited cancellation! Never ordering from this brand again!

Ordered a Smeg coffee machine a a couple of different blends of coffee, all in stock and payment taken. 3 days later still no shipping notice and after constantly calling and live chat the order has not been sent due to one flavour of coffee out of stock. They did not contact me to offer a different flavour or will they ship the machine unless the coffee is in stock which is ridiculous!!! so far not a good experience...I have requested shipping asap with coffee that is in stock but if this is not done today I will cancel and request a refund. Post review and problem sorted and delivery on the way….still hard to chase myself as opposed to being told there was an issue.

I tried to set up a regular delivery of pods from Lavazza - this is something that they offer on their site. I selected the pods that I would like and filled in a lot of detail setting up an account. There was no indication that the pods were out of stock. When I got to the very last page of the process (after I had filled in everything including payment details) the screen would not let me submit the order. I spent some considerable time trying to work out why this was happening. Eventually I phoned Lavazza and was told that the order was not being accepted because the pods were out of stock. They did not know when they would be in stock and suggested that I try again next week. It would have been helpful if the site could have shown 'out of stock' at the outset and then I would not have wasted time trying to set up an order for a regular delivery. I have now given them all my details to no avail and I am not happy with this. I will try to find an alternative source (and try to erase my new Lavazza account).

Bad service luke warm coffee terrible experience never visiting again

I bought Lavazza coffee beans 1kg bag, from Lavazza's distributor - Vending Superstore. Bag had no expire date on it; and it arrived ripped.

I discussed issue with L Walker @ Vending Superstore, very difficult and unhelpful person, expressed bad attitude, and disputed issues brought up to them.
Lavazza aren't any better, they refer me back to Vending Superstore to people who are unhelpful, despite it was them (Lavazza), who released coffee bags with no expiry date.
Both businesses can't see a problem, won't collect and won't replace coffee bag / won't refund it either. Shocking customer service. Keep away from them.

We buy Lavazza products at work, I will pass my comments across.
This experience will certainly have an impact on business and future decisions here, due to very poor customer service and lack of adequate level of aftersales customer support. Issue will now be getting passed to Trading Standards.
