I live in the Alps in France, with lots of salt. A mechanic in the UK treated the underbody of my L200 last winter (December 2025). I've just had a look (April 26) and the lanoguard has adhered pretty well. Some rust visible on welds and leaf spring pack, but the lanoguard has stayed in place pretty well. The truck is washed with a jet wash every couple of weeks, including the underside. The lanoguard doesn't seem to have washed off. I was able to not use the car for 5 days after application to give it the best chance of drying, so maybe this helped - but the weather was very wet, so the fact that it still set up well is good. The finish looks like black paint and is not sticky to the touch - I think applying the right amount is key for this. Just ordered some more for another application, probably in the summer. Overall, I'm pleased with the results, and also with the fact that it's non-polluting.

Bought the lanoguard spray kit for my van. After cleaning and preparing the underside and getting set up the hand sprayer didn’t work. I decanted the lanoguard into a house hold hand sprayer bottle. This worked only when the bottle is vertical. Therefore I couldn’t get into the nooks and crannies. Complete waste of of £65 and 2 hours. The instructions tell you what to do when the spray er doesn’t work “ please accept our apologies “. Seems like lanoguard are aware that their sprayers are garbage but continue to sell them.

Used Lanoguard on motorhome, boat, cars & vans for over 3 years.

Our uses:

Motorhome - 1993 Hymer 660. I have protected the underside, chassis and suspension components. Looks like new underneath. Zero rust.

Boat - I use the marine spray and little mist the outboard internals, inside the hull components and even the teak. Zero corrosion - looks like new.

Car & work van - All get a liberal coating underneath. Looks perfect under there.

Only takes 20mins max to protect the underside of a car with their upgraded spray bottle. Well worth the price.

Can't fault the product or company.

Give us non computer literate people a place to ask questions. eg. Shelf life. I have two containers, one unopened, nearly two years old. Can I still have the same protection if used today

This is ‘Great stuff’ , it’s a big mistake not to look after the underneath of your car ,don’t waste your time with anything else this stuff is the bee’s knees

Great stuff,easy to apply,had a local garage do it,when I got the car back there was a little overspray on the sills,tried soapy water it didn't shift it,so purchased some Lanogaurd remover,wow had it removed it no time,used a cloth and a little Lanogaurd remover,it's there for next time if there's any overspray.

I have great faith in this product. I used to work at an engineering factory that produced valves for the nuclear/power industry. We had a vat of a lanolin based product that we dipped the finished valves in to stop them from rusting in storage. I used to pinch some to spray my 1968 Morris Traveller inside and out. That was over 30 years ago and the car is still going strong. The lanolin is still covering the inside the box sections with no sign of rust. The underside has been resprayed on at least two other occasions, but it needed doing again. This time I have to pay for the product, it’s only fair. I have found that Lanoguard is a similar product to the one I used to use. The supplied sprayer works a treat. I allowed myself two hours to do the job. However, it only took me fifteen minuets so I sprayed my partners modern car too. I know from many tears experience that this product will help preserve my car for many years.

I've used Waxoyl for decades and always sworn by it.
My car is 20 years old so thought it needed a bit of tlc .
I thought I'd give this a try as I'd read good things and I wasn't disappointed. Fair enough, you have to reapply every year, but it's so easy to use.
You can do the whole car in 20 minutes and there's so little mess.
I'm definitely an enthusiastic convert.
Plus it's environmentally friendly which is a bonus !

Simply the best rust protection coating on the market. Has helped reduce rust on my ATV by almost 95%. Two things to be aware of. 1. Don't spray on too thick or it will take ages to cure. 2. The coating cures to a wax type finish so you will inevitably attract dirt and dust. But don't let these issues put you off. Applied correctly and given time to cure this beats the socks off any other product I have used previously.

Lanoguard is a great product, have been using it on my MX5 for the past 4 years. I no longer get advisory notes on the MOT for rust. Excellent.

By far the best coating I have ever used. Application process is extremely easy and the product covers well. The Lanoguard grease is extremely good for suspension legs etc and covers just as well. Will definitely use again.

Love it!! Had done most of our camper underside with spray cans of another popular product and needed something for the box sections. Purchased the small container and spray kit and set to work. It was dead easy to do and the two spray attachments worked great. The adjustment on the standard spray was perfect as was adjustable so I could squirt parts that’s were slightly out of reach without having to jack up the van and get right under. Box section gizmo also spot on. Next year I’ll just do the whole lot in Lanoguard as smells quite nice (think kinda farmyards but nice farmyard smell) and isn’t too bad if you happen to forget to wear a mask (as all natural). Seemed to come off clothes ok and wasn’t fussed about a few patches of driveway which are now waterproofed 😂. Had to call customer service too and they were amazing. Can’t fault it and now a regular customer

Wry bad service parcel want delivery to my door , company didn’t refund me money and I never get my part for the car . Never order from them. Customer service doesn’t help at all !!!!!

I bought this stuff because it was recommended to me but I've found it to be an expensive waste of time I cleaned my car off sprayed the stuff all underneath and a couple of months later it's as rusty as an old wreck absolutely useless

Customer service is really good, answered pre order question within a day. Product arrived as expected, well packaged. I had 2x 2litres and the 360 wand kit. One bottle was enough for ford focus and a honda jazz (56) plate. The ford probably had less done as there's not many beams or exposed metal as the honda. It does smell like sheep for about 24 hours, and clothing needs washing and airing for a while after but it's natural product. Wear glasses too, the mist can be fine. And it's really slippery so changing nozzles can be fiddly! Great though would recommend.

In my 40 years on the planet I've experienced, I think, more than my fair share of exceptional experiences. I've travelled a lot, had many passionate encounters, and seen and done all I could imagine. Then today, I sprayed my truck with Lanoguard. NOTHING up until now in my life has compared to the sheer beauty of this experience. I'd been putting the job off thinking it was going to be a nightmare, but immediately upon crawling under the vehicle and getting going, I was in heaven. The product was SO easy to use, covered well, and the spray, despite so many people complaining about it, worked very well throughout the process. I am very, very happy. Good work Lanoguard. I'm actually wishing the next year away so I can enjoy re-applying next year.
