Communication is excellent as was the general care of our dog, who is recovering well. Langford Veterinary Hospital is far from cheap but in fairness veterinary care in general is expensive.
We thought their initial consultation fee was exceptionally high but in general we were pleased with the service they provided.

We have a cavasion dog called Bob who is 4 years old and we took him to Langford vets to see if they could discover why he had a particular issue with his throat.

I must say, I am new to having wonderful dogs in family life but very much enjoy it, now I know how much love they ‘give out ‘ unconditionally. when i went to a Langford vets i was met with the same compassion and understanding of what our pets mean to us. Professional, caring , helpful kind human beings from the receptionist to the registrar to the night time cover to collect our dog to take home.
I can’t speak more highly of your service from beginning to end. You make some sad times that little bit easier for all. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing team couldn’t be more helpful kept in touch whist my dog had his operation to let me know regularly how he was doing which was piece of mind for us

From the zoom consultation to the stay in hospital. We were treated with respect. We were given all the information good and bad. All the tests were thoroughly explained. We were very anxious as he hadn't been away from us ever but he was very well loved. Our insurance covered the cost which wasn't as much as was thought. We have been given new medication and lifestyle changes for him. I've phoned to speak to Emily a couple of times since and now have confidence I can manage his conditions. He is still a work in progress. I'm very grateful to know this hospital is close by

Superb service from Daniel in the soft tissue consultation department. from the moment we met he was kind courteous and VERY well informed on soft tissue Sarcomas. at no time did he 'blind me with Science' and his skill as a surgeon is to be commended.

The vet was lovely and Mort, my cat, had great care. I felt that he was in very safe hands during his five night stay.

The team at langfords are great, they explain everything carefully in terms you will understand, and don't mind repeating stuff. They never make you feel like you are wasting their time. Their care of my little dog was exemplary.

I have nothing but praise for all of the staff at Langford Small Animal Practise. From reception, to nurses, to the vets, everyone has been amazing. We have been fairly regular visitors for one reason or another, and always felt cared for, respected and well looked after. We have now seen a number of different vets, and all have shown us equal care and concern, and been very mindful to help my little dog, who is petrified of the vets, feel as much at ease at possible. THANK YOU to everyone.

Excellent service. The vet was so very thorough and reassuring and had the best interests of our lovely dog at heart. We would definitely recommend this excellent service.

A PLEASURE TO VISIT
Sadly we are regular visitors to Langfords Small Animal Hospital but every time, without exception we are treated with respect, curtesy and positivity from everyone, from the reception staff to the senior clinician. I cannot praise them all highly enough

Our almost 1 year old Golden Retriever was critical when arriving at Langford.
We wasn’t sure if he would come home again but thanks to these amazing, kind and caring vets, he did, a day before his 1st birthday.

Great friendly practice, very accommodating, lots of services offered/

Everyone was very kind and caring. Communication was excellent. We were kept upto date with Billy's condition. Everything was clearly explained and detailed advise given to take away. When contacted by email, I received a very quick response, thank you.

Caring knowledgeable staff, client communication excellent, email reminders for appointments/vaccinations/worming treatment received in advance also detailed billing so you know what your pet has had what it cost and how much you have paid.

Very helpful, professional staff. Kept me up to date regularly, were contactable if I had any problems

From checking in, through to being greeted by a final year student, to feedback and conclusions and recommendations from Luca the entire experience was faultless. To have students present is an added bonus. The follow up report and findings is extremely helpful. Outstanding level of service. My two basset hounds Baxter and Betsy say thank you. In particular, Baxter says thank you for making me better.💕

We were referred with our dear daschund Crumpet to Langford Small Animal Hospital by our vet in Bath when her rear legs collapsed. I knew instantly she would reveive the very best care and help. We met Sara who was our surgeon for Crumpets back operation. Sara explained all we needed to know , giving us all the time we needed to discuss concerns regarding Crumpets condition and her age related worries. I was kept updated by the excellent team at Langford throughout Crumpets stay . I was shown the vital exercises i needed to do regularly for Crumpet before she was discharged . every member of the Langford team were incredibly helpful and all gave all the time needed to discuss Crumpet. We had follow up calls from the physio team, after Crumpet was brought home. Our dear sausage is recovering well at home now .
In 2010. we were also referred to Langford with our dearest daschund Flapjack who was suffering with 5 discs having slipped into his spinal column . His operation was equally a success and he lived for another 11 years after this surgery until he was 15.5 years old. I would recommend anyone to take their beloved pet to Langford

We were referred to Langford Vets due to spinal issues noted in our dog by our vet. All the staff were very helpful taking great care of her. Assessment and recommendation for treatment sent to our vet within the time stated.

Easy to find with the excellent directions coming from Torbay. Amazing staff from reception to vet/surgeon/physio. Each took the time to keep me informed on my dogs prognosis and progress before, during and after treatment.

Happy to treat Hugo as an individual! Great response on the phone and always have his best interest at heart.
