The Gym
Lamai fitness is a 30 square meter fan cooled ruin "gym" with some really old dumbbells and some second-hand machines from the 80s, the owner Billy Orr also have 6 small mountain bikes and 6 small road bikes that would suit a 5.6 foot person like him and thats all you get , his training techniques comprise of cycling in the Samui motorways or swimming in the ocean in between the jetskis or running hiking in the forrest 5 days a week Monday to Friday 7 am to 9 am (the rest of the day part timers Billy with his assistant Jason they like to chill ), each day Billy he chooses a different activity ,all outdoors (bear in mind it rains often or its too sunny hot and humid so its good to have an umbrella ) Also he is kind enough to let people train in the closet he calls "gym " where he is trying to do unlicensed crossfit at 17:00 for an hour .
The location
The gym is located in Lamai in a tacky remote area of the island where there are a couple of “ bars “ with working thai girls and some pensioners trying to h.o.o.k. up with them and unless you fall in the pensioner category I just mentioned you will feel isolated and very very bored.
The detox accommodation
Visit natural detox hotel next to his mega gym is a complex of basic rooms without closets facing a dated pool in a fairly miserable setting.
The Head Charlatan
Billy Orr is a man that has the nerve to ask 270 Euros per week or 800 Euros per month as gym membership without accomodation (the training is Monday to Friday on Saturday he is only offering an hour of miserable circuit ) he is claiming that he is able to do a body transformation ( he calls it reborn ) thanks to his fantastic training facilities - methods and also the use of secret cleansing juices he only knows ( herbs from the thai jungles) that he is not prepared to disclose and he is getting very angry when someone will challenge his special medicinal knowledge. More or less he is asking 54 Euros for a 2 hour session 07:00-9:00 am ( i.e. the monthly subscription to a top premium gym back home with multiple classes) (i don’t count the one miserable hour at 17:00 in the s.h.i.t hole he is calling a gym as training )to let you swim in the ocean or walk the forrest with him or his assistant Jason (its these 2 men that run the limited classes) or let you use his 6 mini mountain bikes only for a 25 km ride through the Samui motorways for approximately 2 hours minus the breaks with the rest of the group (mainly people in their 60s ++ who hope to consume Billys snake oils will achieve the miraculous change ) .
The detox
The detox restaurant Wild Tribe Cafe is managed by the alchemist-charlatan Anastasia Khmelovets and her partner both from Russia both Billys partners who they use more secret herbs and snake oils from the “Thai jungle” ( as they do in Moscow ) that will make you reach your goals i.e. reborn revitalise loose 60 kg in 12 weeks unblock your chakras reincarnate rejuvenate connect with the jungle spirits etc .They have extensive knowledge about the cleansing and detoxing stuff that nature generously provide but a few people in the world know about (they keep this precious knowledge for Billy's clients only who pay the 1300 euros of course) ( the restaurant is not included in the price btw make sure your card is loaded )They also make their own bread and they charge 1.25 euros per slice and I hope these bread slices have plenty of secret stuff from the jungle
Now Although the detoxing market is scientific junk and to put it simply it is criminal exploitation of the dump and gullible person for Charlatan "Billy " 🤥 it is a solid science( he is promising deep cellular cleansing btw something unheard in the medical community ) (Dr bull s.h.i.t. I spent a month at Lamai Fitness and stayed across the road at Visit Natural Detox. The accommodation was great value and handy for the early morning gym workouts. The pool was perfect for some post workout swim to cool down! Despite being very challenging I had a great experience here and lost 20kg over the 4 weeks. The workouts were a varied mix of CrossFit, walking/running in the hills, ocean swimming, cycling… During the day the beach is a few minutes walk away for some holiday relaxation. Billy was a fantastic motivator and his support over my time there was second to none. I would highly recommend a trip here for a healthy holiday and fitness kickstart.) ] ] which is 5Kg per week and if a kilo of fat is 7800 calories you would need if you where a man to cycle 55 hours per kilo i.e 275 hours of cycling per week or 39 hours per day or 8125 km in a week which is Paris to London 18 times to achieve what Marie did (tutorials/161/how-far-do-you-need-to-ride-to-lose-1kg-of-fat) but with Dr Bull s.h.i.t of course even a female can cut 5 kilos in a week with 4 hours of cycling of course
easy... thanks to the jungle secrets , well done Marie and Dr Billy . Also, Billy has also done some heavy statements in his misleading website about helping a person lose 60 kg in 12 weeks again 5 kilos per week which are the calories you would burn if you cycle about 97500 km or two and a half the circumference o the earth in 12 weeks 😂
Delusional Billy he is self convinced that can he can miraculously go against nature with magic and make kilograms vanish and his practices make him a dangerous charlatan
Now although Billy is English , and misleading or aggressive commercial practices could lead to criminal sanctions in UK (witch doctors and bogus healers are still enjoying a lax system even in UK) he is clever enough to maintain his “companies” in Thailand where it is difficult to take any legal action and unfortunately the unregulated internet is the playground for charlatans like Billy where any one can claim and promise anything and fish V.i.c.t.i.m.s from around the world mainly men and women in their 60s who are desperate and prepared to pay Dr Billy a lot of money to see the well coveted change , and believe it or not he is convincing desperate people to pay him these money , (Billy prefers cash btw be nice with him)
Lamai fitness is the biggest crup i have seen in my life with owner Billy Orr exploiting the hopeless person , his improvised online trap is convincing though ( with him half naked and tanned
luring the desperate older discerning clientele to his trap ,continuously popping on the screen urging you to book when you are trying to read the crup on the website ) .
Now let's do some more maths to get the grip of the F.r.a.u.d he has 23 rooms at 1300 euros per room per month 500 euros for the room 800 euros for the detox gym approximately 30000 euros per month for Billy to cycle around the island not bad ... I reckon it must be enough to live in Thailand
In case you are thinking to book from your home country I urge you to go and see with your own eyes as I did, before you book and have a plan B or you will cry for your time and money you spend for the flights, actually I advise not to book at all. Do further research and try to find a more professional setting e
