A smooth e penitence from start to finish.Helpful ,polite staff,a few amendments that were needed,attended to swiftly and without question.Extremely happy with the finished product ,just need the weather now to enjoy it.Well worth the somewhat hefty price.

From start to finish this company was excellent. Olivia who came to measure up was very knowledgeable and advised on everything from gates, hatches and steps to colours which would match the caravan. The installation chap was also excellent. His work was faultless. It’s made such a difference to the outside space. All in all an excellent company. Highly recommended.

Good customer care from start to finish; from initial consultation and quote, always very polite and customer-focused, ensuring I had all the information to make the right choices for me. The two fitters, Andrew & Harry, were excellent; great job, very tidy, all done in two days. Good post-fit checks & communication to make sure happy before final payment- thanks to all. Comes with 10-year guarantee, so well-covered; hopefully materials will perform well- level of service so far bodes well ;-)

Well I had all my fences replaced and they was great but they was put in concrete posts that we already had in place, the sales team was great at first but when the panels went in they was slightly higher than the posts which I was not told about on the measuring stage, I said I wasn’t happy as their was sharp edges in the top. I got told thry would PAINT the edges so it would blend in, to which I declined. I was told they would fit caps on the end and they look great which I was happy about ( this is at the front of the house) I the paid the rest of the money, I have since asked if they can fit 9 caps at the side of my house and to be told it will now cost me a further £300 to which I laughed at, they are not bothered now they have been paid the full amount. Please make sure you are totally satisfied with the work BEFORE YOU HAND OVER YOUR MONEY!!!! Robin Hood springs to mind

We engaged Lakeland Verandahs in early April 2025, providing clear specifications for a balcony with pressure-clamped glass balustrades and composite decking. No concerns were raised at the time.
A deposit was paid on 28 April after I chased for payment details, and we were told the work would be completed within 8 weeks.
After multiple follow-ups, installation began on 23 June. The base and decking were fitted, and I was informed the glass would follow within 5–10 working days. I was not made aware this would be a two-phase job.
On day 11, I contacted the company and was told there was a delay due to missing glass. Despite my request to wait until all materials were available, fitters returned on 14 July with incomplete glass and installed a temporary barred rail.
The glass then installed was not what we ordered—it had handrails and was not pressure-clamped. The fitters informed us, after calling head office,that clamps were deemed unsafe, contradicting our original agreement. I contacted the Business Development Manager (BDM), Alex, who was unaware of the change and claimed the clamp issue was advisory. We were offered a partial compromise, which we declined, requesting either a discount or the correct installation. The latter was agreed.
Further investigation revealed the glass used was toughened, not laminated, which is required for elevated balconies. Alex was unaware of this and only confirmed the glass type after repeated follow-ups. Remediation was approved on 25 July after escalation to the company director.
Communication during this period was poor and only occurred when I initiated contact. I raised concerns about safety guarantees and fitting issues (uneven overhang, untidy column fittings, and a corner piece falling off shortly after installation). These were acknowledged but not proactively addressed, this information was not passed on to the fitters.
The correct balcony was finally installed on 12 September. However, on 24 September, I received an invoice dated 23 June with a due date of 30 June—making it appear 86 days overdue. I was chased for payment on 25 and 26 September. I requested written confirmation of safety before settling the invoice, which I received via a non-letterheaded email from someone named Simon. I paid the full invoice (no compensation/ discount offered for all the awful treatment) and asked for a receipt reflecting the actual completion date, but was told this wasn’t possible!!
In summary, this has been the worst experience I’ve had with a company. Despite being recommended, Lakeland Verandahs were difficult to deal with, poorly communicative, and lacked understanding of safety standards. Alex, the BDM, was unresponsive and misinformed. The only helpful contacts were the fitters, who were professional and courteous throughout.

Installation of decking at static caravan:
General untidiness of site after installation and lack of cleaning up. Decking itself not cleaned. Issues with steps and gate needed resolving. Scratch/scuff marks on many areas resulting from the installation were highlighted. Still not fully resolved after nine months, despite assurances on more than one occasion that they had been addressed. Would not recommend you.

We cannot speak more highly about the installation of our new decking / verandah by Lakeland Verandahs.
The lads were amazing, really tidy, friendly, considerate and hard working.
The finished result is very smart, well made and of good quality. Thank you for your attention to detail.

I don't usually write reviews but the service we received from Lakeland Verandahs was outstanding and deserves recognising. Everyone we dealt with from Fergal's initial visit and help with the planning and design, to the men who delivered the components, to the guys who assembled ithe pergola and the electrician were great . . . professional, respectful and friendly. Would highly recommend the Company.

Lakeland Verandas review - May 2025

Bramhall Bowling Club have been looking around for an open shelter attached to the main building to offer protection from the weather. Many options can be seen around other Greens, but nothing that suitable relative to our budget. We found Lakeland over the internet and after a few telephone conversation we arranged a meeting in-site. Fergal came across to give advice, talk through and measure up the area. It was very impressive to see the sample he brought along, basically a full size corner piece which clearly demonstrated the quality and workmanship of the product under offer. Obviously there followed a few exchanges, with Fergal, to get the final specification and quote right.

Delivery was just a little longer than originally quoted, but no doubt down to the influx of orders in early spring. Two of the Lakeland guys came to install the 6m x 2.5m Veranda, keeping to the day requested and agreed. They had more than enough equipment to tackle the job, but from what I could see the pre-manufacture of the parts had been prepared very well and no adjustments were needed. Installation took just over 3 hours, very tidy workers leaving no waste.
The Bowlers are delighted with the final result. Thanks to Lakeland, Fergal and the guys who came to install. A very good 5 star job.

Very pleased with our decking that was installed by Lakeland Verandahs many years ago and is still going strong. The after sales service is brilliant too with any minor issue rectified quickly and the installers/maintenance team are really friendly and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in future.

We had a few different companies come round to quote for a large veranda in our back garden. We decided to go with Lakeland Verandahs because their products looked good but we were especially impressed with Fergal their sales advisor. He wasn’t pushy or full-on like some sales people can be. He gave me a few different options and gave me time to think about what we wanted. He was very good at getting back to me when I tweeked things with my order too.

The veranda was fitted by two lads who were very knowledgeable and I was impressed with their attention to detail. I am happy with the finished product and I would absolutely recommend Lakeland Verandahs. I will probably be back in touch to add glass sides on to my veranda soon.

Lakeland sorted our Veranda, organised by Fergal, and installed by Rich, Ste, Riley & Rob. Very happy with the process from start to finish - even when there was a misunderstanding about the spec we wanted vs what was initially ordered, the team promptly resolved with little disruption. Highly recommend!

Great service. Had an issue with the slope of the roof being too deep to clear my bifold doors. However this was rectified within a week and new installation date organised.

Excellent all round. Visited by Alex who was great at seeing what we wanted, drew up plans for us, got exactly what we wanted. They were great to wait until we were ready for it, installed over a couple of days and the results were amazing, they exceeded our expectations. We contacted Lakeland Verandahs to create an indoor/outdoor space that could be used all year round. Fergal walked us through all of the options and was extremely thorough, and has been a very friendly and supportive person to work with.
We are extremely pleased with the outcome, looks better than we could have imagined, and it didn’t cost the earth either - very competitive prices for great quality products.
