My wife and I have now used Kynisi a total of four times for international transport of embryos. Each time, Kosta was EXTREMELY responsive, communicating via email, WhatsApp, and phone calls. He participated in MANY back and forth emails to coordinate between our clinics. His timing for transport pickup/drop off was as good as one could imagine, given international logistics. Even during the pandemic, he came through for us in a timely and reasonable manner. I have not once experienced any of the "disappearing" that I read about in reviews. We used his services three times before I even read any of these negative reviews so I was really in shock to see such bad comments.

I have nothing but positive words for Kynisi. Thank you to Kosta for giving us one less thing to worry about during an already stressful endeavor!

During Covid kynisi moved our samples between two clinics. They were professional, had great communication and were reasonably priced. Thanks again for all your help. Would recommend.

Fantastic service. I sent a message one day and with some careful planning, our storage samples were being collected and delivered the following day. It was really Brilliant and quick. The communication was also excellent. We would highly recommended.

This company is a complete scam! He charged us for GBR 450 2 years ago when promised delivery from Spain to Canada. I have never received ANY service NOR I received money back. The reviews about him- correct. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY. He NEVER contacted my clinic and never replied to me on my emails. Kosta is a Scammer!!! I am surprised he is still doing this business. His should go to a jail for such scam!!!

Kosta Kios from Kynisi IVF Courier overcharged by over 20% the maximum amount stated in his initial quote. On top of that he answered in a cocky and unspecific way the detail questions I had about the shipment of the samples. It happens I worked for an airline for over 15 years, and part of it in the Cargo division of a UK major airline, hence quite aware of regulation and pharma shipments.
We chose this courier based on a recommendation from Sarah from the NHS in London. I cannot say if the samples but handled correctly, I do know we were overcharged almost 200GBP (+20% over max stated on quote) and provided no explanation. My dealings with him were quite disappointing from then onwards. DO NOT ACCEPT an OPEN QUOTE from KOSTA.

This guy, Kosta Kios. displayed all the signs of a Scammer!
1. He was very responsive and super engaged with us (Phone calls, emails)...until we made the first deposit of £600.00 GBP.
And This guy went straight into a RADIO SILENCE.
We made multiple attempts to reach out to him and nothing! we waited over a week... checked with our clinic and he didn't contact them neither.

2. We finally left his an email stating that we do not need the service anymore, that we need the money refunded and he came up with a one liner or "We do not issue Refunds". He also mentioned that he has use the money for "Administrative" works. And out of nowhere mentioned someone named "Sarah". It was bizarre! A Sarah that we have no clue about, and also we've seen no trace of "Admin" work he has done. he even didn't email our clinic. From one of our multiple attempts to call him.. he at some point just opened the line for us to just stayed on the line listening to some background noises. He is rude!

3. The reviews online showed the exact trend, this is his IMO. he preys on parents to be. And has been doing this for a long while.
Kosta Kios is a scammer. He will take your money and will not render the service.
For your own peace of mind. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I'm very happy with the professional service KYNISI Courier provided. I did check the reviews and I then called kosta to speak with him to find out more about the service he provides he explained everything to me and I felt reassured. KYNISI kept me updated throughout the process his company was also very reasonable in price.
I had good recomendations from the clinic explaining there was no issues that came to light with Kosta service.
I put my trust into the company and he delivered a very professional safe service.

I’m also one of those who had a terrible experience with Kosta at this company. No updates from the company about where our embryos were during the process and we constantly needed to chase them. They also tried to charge much more than what they had quoted originally. We used this company simply recommended by a clinic but we should have checked the reviews here. Also you should check the company house website to see the history of this company...

Kynisi took embryo to Bueno Aires. Clinic said to use them. Good service. Kosta did good job. No problema getting into country. Hopefully we have baby now. Thank you kynisi.

I am very pleased to be able to recommend Kynisi Couriers. My wife and I were delighted with the customer service and value offered by Kosta of Kynisi. The bespoke service gave us immense reassurance with our precious IVF cargo.

My wife and I used Kosta at kynsis to move our embryos from Seoul to southern California. We were a little worried at first. Yes, we read all those online comments. But our clinic told us he was the real deal. Also actually at first we used another courier service out of London. he was an embryologist and appeared really professional. But then he had a lot of issues getting our babies out of the Korea. ( was held up in security) . He apparently he didnt have the right paper work. After he went quiet on us ( an annoyed our clinic in Seoul - quite rude to them) , we took the other recommendation from our clinic = Kynisi. Kosta already had a courier in the area ( seems like hes more than a one man show like the other couriers shops) and within 3 days organized the correct Korean paperwork and we had our embryos in san deigo. And now we have a lovely son :-) x 1000000. So 100% thanks to Kosta. Not sure why all these other bad reviews are here. ; seems like a few are competitors? John + Sandy and little Ian says thank you Kosta!

I rated this 1 star as zero was not an option. Kynisi needs to be shut down! And sooner rather than later.

I am aware of fertility centres across the UK who used to have contracts with Kosta (Kynisi director) and have now revoked service level agreements due to him being completely unreliable, extremely rude, only caring about money and not conducting his business with the safety of biological material in mind.

He goes off the grid and can't be contacted, he emails the wrong centres with information that is meant to be confidential and only cares about centres in London because he gets the most business from them or places he can get a holiday (usually Australia or California). If you use Kynisi, beware that for most transports he does not do himself (the business is also unlicensed). Kosta hires another general courier company that is not a specialist courier company and the delivery drivers don't even know what they are carrying and sometimes the containers are not kept upright as they need to be to keep samples safe and at the right temperature.

Yes, Kynisi might be cheaper than other couriers but is it really worth risking the safety of precious eggs, sperm or embryos? NO!!! I have contacted a few fertility centres and apparently they are can mention courier companies they have dealt with but they cannot recommend one. I recently contacted one centre and they suggested I carefully look into different couriers and consider the level of service and not just the cost. And thank goodness they did say that! Did you know that Kynisi don't monitor the temperature of the container the eggs/sperm/embryos are kept in? Did you know that they don't check the containers after each use even though they are passing them on to untrained general couriers? Were you aware that the container containing your precious material can sit in a depot of a general courier company overnight? I didn't know these things but I'm glad I do now! I like to do my research - I also found out that Kynisi is not a registered business, it has changed it's name at least 2-3 times and it seems to have dissolved a few times. I wonder why.

Please do not use Kynisi Courier Systems even though it can be tempting going by price alone. Eggs/sperm/embryos and your future is far more important.

We were promised to transfer our embryos overseas at the end of last year. Nothing was scheduled, no any of our emails/calls answered and no deposit returned since that time.

I post this review as an IVF laboratory manager after shocking experience with Kynisi. They used 3rd party normal courier company to transport patient embryos form Manchester to London.

The embryos were left overnight in unknow place to us until delivered next day. Ideally embryos should be transported the same day to minimise any risk of damage. This is considered as a breach of third party agreement with the clinic as they should not outsource the transport without permission.

They claim they use IVF specialists to transport patient embryos but in fact non of them is related to the science field including the company director.

Kosta Kokkokios (aka Kosta Kios) the owner and director of Kynisi, has elaborated a FRAUD with his business, DO NOT use that company. He required an immediate deposit of 450GBP (approx. $620) as a transportation slot holding deposit, the invoice stated it was for the IVF transport. He said to pay promptly and immediately upon receipt of this invoice. We were still early in the process, not even a permit to import our samples from USA. We decided a month later to cancel the shipping. We had no permit yet, no dates, no transport yet scheduled. We asked Kosta our deposit back. Several times, by email and phone. For a month, he answered once only, saying he will send a partial refund but his bookkeeper should do it. Nothing has been done. It has been 2 months now, we have reported his fraud to the Action Fraud Police in UK, as well as the contact of his bookkeeper Jeffreys Henry LLP in London . DO NOT do business with them, you will never see your deposit money again. Neither Kosta neither his bookkeeper answered and the funds have never been refunded.
