I have a ~8yr old roof lantern that I needed some spare parts for to investigate a leak - either in the lantern or could be the flat roof (tbc). Its 3 stories up so I wanted the parts and knowledge before climbing up. I contacted Korniche with little expectation of getting a reply. I was super surprised when Laura replied by return with information and help. She then shipped the parts out the same day! Customer service still very much exists at some companies, and from my experience this is one. Happy customer, and future customer. Thank you.

I bought a couple of lanterns nearly 8 years ago and due to a problem with the roof have to remove them and want to reuse them. I requested a copy of the installation instructions to understand how to remove them. Within a couple of hours I had received a reply from Laura Burn, a Customer Service Advisor, with a link to a video on how to dismantle them and some replacement clips popped in the post.
A possibly tricky job had been simplified in a moment. Can't thank Laura and the team enough. Buying a good product is one thing but having excellent customer service so long after purchase is totally fantastic.

Korniche sent fitters, Richie & Owen to do some work on our bi fold doors.

Richie and Owen were exceptional. They were so conscientious with every detail covered thoroughly and professionally.

They were very polite and thoughtful throughout and treated our home with respect.

Why can’t all tradesmen be like Richie & Owen?!!

They are a real credit to Korniche.

Problems with lantern, they have a small drain hole and you have to keep cleaning it or water will come in the building, it’s a poor design because on a big down poor , water can’t get away quick enough and totally reliant on sealant

They say you got to build upstand 65 mm wide but this doesn’t meet building regulations and not possible , to meet building regulations you have a shelf on inside, or you will have a cold spot , these lanterns are not fit for purpose, quality lanterns provide a proper cill , not just sticking lantern down and relying on sealant
Then if you do stick it down , you are reliant on a little drain hole being clear , or water leaks in side
They are a nightmare, buy a better one elsewhere to save a lot of work

6 mm over hang , then water coming out of drain , blows back under, only one bead of silicone stopping in

To get insulation valve , you have to have a shelf on inside losing 150 mm off width , making lantern smaller , crazy idea

It needs a cill under lantern, so water drains away , and cannot be blown under it .
All other lanterns have a cill under it

I have seen all the problems on the internet of people having the same problem

Absolutely excellent service from Richie & Owen. They were very professional, polite and sorted the problem out straight away.

I purchased a set of 4.56m x 2.10m bi-fold doors from Korniche in the June of 2020. Initially I had no issues with them, however as time went on the main entry door frame began to grind on the runner. I got the firm who fitted the windows to attend to rectify the issue however no matter how much 'heeling and towing' went on, the issue remained.

As a result I subsequently contacted Korniche as the doors have a 10 years warranty, I spoke with Jon McAllister, who initially offered advice in an attempt to resolve the issue. When this did not work I sent pictures/videos of the issue and he contacted the on site team who subsequently came to my home. Richie and Owen attended, they were polite, respectful, knowledgeably and told me exactly what had happened and why. They rectified the issue and gave me advice on how to prevent it re-occurring in the future.

The whole process was stress free, all the people acted as one big team and the issue was rectified in a short period of time. No issues were raised with the doors being nearly 6 years old, a pleasant reminder of how companies should look after customers. A firm well done to all involved and a big thank you from me for fixing my doors and making the process as pain free as possible.

Working with Laura Burn at Made for Trade was an absolute pleasure. She was instrumental in resolving a bi-fold door glass issue caused by a faulty batch. Laura immediately contacted their glass supplier, securing prompt replacements — and when another pane shattered, she took swift action again. Even when an incorrect height was sent, she managed that situation seamlessly.

A couple of lessons learned: the glass supplier should double-check dispatched sizes match measurements on label, and packaging needs to be more robust to prevent damage in transit as standard.

However Laura’s proactive approach, clear communication, and dedication made all the difference for me here. Glad to know she is at the other end for support.

Lucy was excellent, she was so prompt in her responses in dealing with the parts that I needed. I would have no hesitation in using this company again. We are very happy with the Lantern roof we have and it gives me great comfort the aftercare that has been provided.

Ordered these Bifoldial doors with recommendation from a friend in the trade.
The process was very simple & I took delivery on time. The installation was easy with no problems at all, they look amazing. Excellent value for money and I saved few hundred pounds compared to my usual supplier.

Had two roof Korniche roof lantern’s supplied and fitted by our builder and was told they came with a 10 year warranty, four years on and the paint on the corners and top caps started to flake and corrode, along with some exterior trims, I contacted Korniche after sales and I can’t express how helpful Lucy was to sort out the replace parts, however one of Lucy’s technical colleagues told her that as I live a mile plus from the sea the Lanterns would only have a warranty of five years, which is pretty disappointing considering we were never informed of this before we spent so much money, so when this happens again we will have to start all over again, and replace the Lanterns, Anyway a massive thank you again to Lucy for all her time and help it’s greatly appreciated.

We had the privilege of being given a tour of the Korniche Factory, the quality and mixture of products they supply is outstanding. We were given a demonstration of how easily the new Korniche Lantern's can be put together, it is very obvious that they had the installers in mind when creating this product. I was very impressed with the company and all the products they have to offer.

Great skylight. Good quality. I have contacted them twice. First one was an installation question and they visited and sorted it all out (my error). Second, I wanted extra clips to a standard installation, and the following day (Saturday) they arrived FOC. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered my bifold with great ease, the experience was hassle free and well supported from the sales team. My door arrived on the expected date with zero installation issues. After using my door for a couple of weeks I'm extremely impressed with the quality and smoothness of it. Very happy customer !
