Sandra at Kitchen Niche made all the difference! I had read about these Marcato cookie presses in the Wall Street Journal "home" section. I didn't know where to find them, so ChatGPT gave me a few buying options. I went to Kitchen Niche and ordered four of these items (total cost approx $490) on Dec 21. I ordered with expedited shipping which would've had them arriving on/around Christmas. After a week or so had gone by, I contacted KN and Sandra was incredibly responsive and assured me the items were shipped. They finally arrived on Jan 6. I think the delay was more due to the "import" aspect of this coming from Canada to U.S.--although i don't really know. Anyway, all is well. Sandra was as helpful as you can ever imagine someone being. I can't say enough good things about her. And the four (#4) Marcato presses were exactly as ordered. Thank you!

The cost of the missing item was under $10 however it was an accessory to the main item I purchased for a gift so it is not complete. Not sure I want the hassle of going through my credit card company to dispute this charge however I certainly will NEVER order from Kitchniche again.

Do not order from Kitchen Niche. Just don’t. We ordered an item that came with missing parts. Their phone number directs clients to their email, but they don’t respond to emails. They are obviously in the scamming business.
This company owes me either my money back, or the item I paid for
I originally ordered 3 of this item, then within an hour of placing the order, I emailed them to reduce the quantity to 2. I sent an email AND resent it through their website. Their website promises a response within 24 hours. I NEVER got a response to my email. Eventually, on December 8th, I got an email from PayPal to indicate that the 3rd item had been refunded, so I assumed that since I had now only paid for 2, that 2 items would be sent. Today, December 9, I received 1 item. I still have paid for 2. I want the item, I actually would prefer to get the ite,m instead of the refund but this company does not respond, and I need this item immediately. I even had to search online to find a phone number for them, which I found listed as: +1 (250) 762-9424, but surprise, nobody answers that method of communication either. Today I emailed them about their shipment error, they only shipped 1 instead of 2, I again also sent this information through the contact page of their website, I want the item or a refund, but would prefer to get the item, ASAP. This company did not respond to emails, phone calls or messages sent through their own website. When I review my order on their website, it shows 2 should have been sent, it also shows the delivery of the order as being complete, which it is not.

Same experience as others, they ship part of your order even tho all of them were listed as “In stock”. And tell you it will be shipped in 1-2 weeks but 3 weeks past no shipment and never reply to email

I ordered three products from the company. Only two were shipped my address. Then I got a note in my delivery saying the last item will be in stock in 3 weeks. Here we are 5 weeks later and it's still not in stock. They do not reply to emails. And when you finally get a hold of them all they do is make excuses. All of the sudden the three week delay for my package is now more like a two and a half month delay. It seems like they do everything they can to get past the credit card holding date. Why are they selling things that they don't have in stock? Why don't they send me an email telling me they don't have it in stock instead of just shipping my partial order and sending me a note in the order. This company's very shady. They don't reply to your emails or phone calls. And then they make up bold Lies when they finally do contact you

They do not know how to pack and send - my Peugot Roellinger which is expensive got here in a broken package - a broken box - so as a birthday gift well it looked like a clearance product - very unprofessional service because that box was broken anyway before they sent it for sure. They just figured, oh well it's just the box..... bippppp... wrong answer
My parcel shipped out fast within 2 days
First off I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews. I ordered a bag of tea..it got a tracking no. with Purolator within 2 days. Csnada Post strike, so you cannot ask for better than that...I'm sure it will come fast.
Kitchen Niche don't honour the defective products they sell
I purchased the Vitantonio TicTac Tomato Squeezer and Strainer from Kitchen Niche. When I tried to use the Vitantonio Tomato Squeezer and Strainer at the beginning of September to prepare and can my tomato harvest, I discovered it was not only defective but didn't work. On September 13th, I received the following response from the Kitchen Niche support person: "It looks like you simply received a lemon. I'm sorry about that." I was asked to send a video showing "how it is spinning without the cutting wheel turning". As per the request, I sent two videos on September 21st. Subsequently, I sent multiple emails and called. It is now November 28th, and I am still awaiting a response, reimbursement, or store credit. I appreciate that Kitchen Niche acknowledged that the tomato squeezer and strainer they sold me is defective and requested I send a video to prove so. I am happy with all the other items I purchased from them. However, it is not good business practice for Kitchen Niche to not respond to their customers or to not stand behind the defective product they sold me. I should also not be expected to pay to ship the product back to the store. I request to receive a full refund for this defective product because I have lost faith in the quality of the product.
Fraudulent vendor
Ordered 6 items with 3-5 business day shipping. Two weeks later I had received nothing, so I emailed and requested a refund, and was blown off. One item was shipped. A month later I emailed again and requested a refund for the remaining items. I was blown off again with "it was shipped last week, should show up any time". Never got a shipping notification, and no tracking number was provided. A week later, 57 days after ordering, I still had nothing and put in a dispute on the credit card charge.
Now, two weeks after telling me it "shipped last week", they emailed me to tell there was a problem with my address. Even though they have already shipped product to me.
This vendor's whole game is to drag the process out beyond the credit card dispute date. It's just plain fraud and I have filed a police report.

I bought a new premium Trudeau fondue set as a gift. They sent me a used, dirty and damaged one and charged me $90 shipping without telling me it was not a new item. It’s junk. not usable. Not as advertised. No customer would want this. It is terrible business practice, and wasted my time and money. Should have gone anywhere else.
Excellent quality products
I've ordered from kitchenniche.ca multiple times, over 10 years. I've never had an issue, I've recieved everything I've paid for and any questions have been answered promptly. I like several items on their website, and I've purchased multiple items as gifts that have always been well recieved.
I'm a conscientious consumer, I price match and use coupons, cashback and rewards. They offer none of these options and I STILL return here.
They gave a better price on multiple purchases of the Victorinox Fibrox chef's knives that America's Test Kitchen recommended. I like the Flax Seed Grinder as it has a Crushgrind mechanism, I give them as gifts at Christmas with a lovely spice blend.
I find them affordable and knowledgeable. They might not be lightning fast, but they're not a 5 day response. They offer free shipping.... in Canada, that's a gift.
I highly recommend them, I like to buy local, but they beat Ontario pricing most of the time.
Can't say enough good things. Hope that 10 years from now I'm still getting the quality that I've come to expect.

I do not recommend doing business with this company. They refused to cancel an order when it was well within their power to do so, refused to provide return shipping and refused to provide a full refund. Unhelpful and unethical.
Common thieves
Common thieves. This company sells products they do not have in stock to take your money and then entrench your in an arduous process of goose chasing to pursue fulfillment. Relying upon the kindness and patience of people understanding delays the pandemic may cause, they ensure to exhaust any claim period available through your payment method before canceling your order without returning your funds. They continue to list products for sale on their site that they have been incapable of fulfilling for nearly 7 months to ensnare other unassuming consumers in their trap. They are effectively criminals fronting as a valid business. Take your money and run to literally any other place of business that operates with an ounce of integrity because you will be far better off.
