Very friendly staff , very organised and just a short wait. Treated professionally throughout - great service

I found whole out patient service from beginning to end seamless and would highly recommend. Consultant in particular was excellent and really took time in appointment to go through everything thoroughly and also offer alternative medical pathways which was very reassuring. Special shoutout too to the friendly and helpful staff in the carpark, on the phones and at reception in the hospital . Very professional medical service and exceeded all my expectations

my experience was good with my last appointment and the nurse Kathryn was lovely, however, i travelled from Wexford to Belfast for a bandage change, when I arrived the nurse said it was too soon after my operation as it only had been 1 1/2 weeks and it was too soon to remove the dressings. She did however take some of the old dressings off and put clean ones on, but I feel that it was a bit of a waste of time as my friend who’s a nurse could have done this for me, and she said the same herself. My husband had to take a day off for this appointment.the following day i had an irritation under my new dressings and ended up taking them off as i had an allergic reaction. so the day was a complete waste of time

6 week review after hip replacement surgery and Mr Cusick’s medical expertise and professionalism was very reassuring and helpful. Excellent treatment from start to finish with my procedure.

Basically arrived and was taken very shortly after I booked in and as before was examined quickly and professionally
Thankfully all is well and I am very appreciative of the treatment received

The process from start to finish was very disappointing. From trying to book an appointment to meeting with the consultant.
I took over half an hour to get through on the phone. When I tried call back the call never materialised. The consultant was rude and condescending. He made a decision on my treatment before even examining me.

Staff were lovely but long waiting times.

The appointment management was excellent
Mr McCrogan was outstanding in his role both before and after surgery
Only downside was the parking and how it’s located

The building is pleasant and because I had arrived early the receptionist allowed me to go in ahead of time.
A young Lady who was wearing Scrubs called for me at Reception and showed me into the Doctors Appointment room. I have no idea if she was a clinician or not, but she stayed in the room observing the proceedings.
The Doctor stayed seated and waved his had in presumptive manor to sit. I stayed standing, said "Good afternoon Dr ...... " and offered my hand as a courtesy, he continued to sit but did shake hands.
(Obviously not used to people with manors)
I had obtained a comprehensive referral from my own doctor and results of a recent hearing test, to which he gave a cursory inspection and declined to keep, pity because the Hospital have now had to ask for the name of my G/P and address!
The inspection of my inner ear and consultation took 15minues at most, and did not really inform me of any causal event or precautions for the future (I dive, so have some knowledge of inner ear working)
In general the feedback was poor given that I have a number of issues with my hearing that affect everyday life and not only diving.
Again the Doctor stayed seated as I left, though he did shake my hand. I would say his whole demeanor was one of disinterest and of sitting out an obligation to be there. For sure I would expect most Doctors to be engaging and interested in their client even if we are only seeing them for a one off! (I have over the years seen many for serious medical conditions so have a good Patient/doctor perspective)
Finally the cost. Well if you consider a 15min appointment, a microscope inspection of the ear and a prescription for 5days worth of oral steroids value at £225 then fine, but I was expecting a more engaging Doctor, a more informative consultation and an explanation on how to proceed in the future should the symptoms persist.

Nurses and consultant were very friendly and put a very nervous patient at ease. Everything was very quick . Out in no time.
Was given a lovely cup of tea and toast before l went home.

l would like the entrance from the car park to be more clearly sign posted and more tidy.

The medical care was excellent. I have no complaint whatsoever about the professionalism of the medical team.
My complaint is regarding the car parking. It appears that staff get preferential parking locations very close to the main building. Whereas the patient car park is at the furthest location on the site that could possibly be found. It is a circuitous walk to the diagnostic centre.
I always judge the Customer Care of an organisation by who they give preference to in terms of parking locations.

Apparently there is a shuttle but it does not obvious I one can access it.

The price is somewhat excessive particularly as we had to pay for two hours because our appointment was delayed by 15 minutes. (I do not mind waiting for an appointment but I do object to being asked to pay an extra £3 because of delays in the medical system.)
