Keystone Tutors Anmeldelser

Geraldine has been a wonderful Biology and Chemistry tutor for my daughter, Anna. She is extremely well-organised, explains concepts clearly, and is always patient and willing to answer questions. What Anna particularly appreciates is Geraldine’s ability to explain the same concept from different angles and in different ways until she fully understands it. This has made a real difference to both her understanding and memorizing.

Anna previously found Biology and Chemistry quite frustrating because of the amount of knowledge she needed to memorise. Geraldine’s approach of combining clear explanations with well-timed practice has helped her understand, reinforce and remember key concepts much more effectively.

Most importantly, Geraldine has made a genuinely positive impact on Anna’s attitude towards both subjects. She is now enjoying Biology and Chemistry more and more, and her confidence has grown significantly. While she previously worried about achieving Grade 9s in these subjects at GCSE, she now feels much more confident about reaching that goal.

Anna herself often says how fortunate she feels to have found a tutor like Geraldine, whose teaching style, approach and personality are such a great fit for her. She genuinely feels that finding a teacher who suits her so well in every aspect is something quite rare and special.

We are very pleased with the progress Anna has made and truly appreciate Geraldine’s professional, thoughtful and effective teaching. Highly recommended!

Excellent tutors and extremely well organised team . Helped our daughter achieve an A* in Chemistry against the prediction of her very expensive girls’ day school in Hammersmith . They did this by working with her to identify the gaps in her learning and providing her with the extra work , direction and support she needed to get there . I really shouldn’t have had to pay for this on top of my fees as this should have been offered by the school but we’re so very glad we did .
Can’t thank Tom Calf and his team enough .
K Matthews ( Ex Headteacher . Retired HMI (Wales ) .

Jenny has worked hard to help my daughter catchup in english and maths and prepare her for our move to London and navigate the english school system after living many years abroad. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

Thank you to Stefan for helping our son with his GCSEs. He was very supportive in getting through the curriculum and exam technique

Stefan is a highly responsible teacher. He proactively communicates with my daughter regularly inquiring about her needs and difficulties, and provides targeted assistance. Under his patient guidance, my daughter has achieved significant progress in biology and chemistry, as well as built stronger learning confidence. We are truly grateful.

It really helped and supported my son. We will keep using you as we are in our last year.

Daniele was a really great tutor for Chemistry A-Level. He knows the A-Level content and beyond exceptionally well, as well as being very well organised for both teaching content and revision.

Caroline has been our rock through the A level prep period of the last 2 years. She will listen and understand our needs and find the appropriate tutorials for my daughter.
She has found Andy Wimbush , to teach her theology. Andy has been the most professional, kind and most knowledgeable tutors s he ever had.
He has always been on time, giving constructive feedback and my daughter got an A in theology despite the fact that the school did not even managed to finish the syllabus as one of her teachers left at the end of the Sping term.Andy covered everything and predicted most of the questions. We have no words to thank you Andy and Caroline!

We used Keystone for my son's GCSE tuition and he really progressed and improved in his subjects thanks to the brilliant tutors and Tom. Special mention to Stefan (Science), Jonny (English Lit) and Azeem (CompSci) who were all amazing and really boosted his interest in their respective subjects, as well as his grades! My son ended up scoring ten 9s (A*s) and we are very happy!

Stefan has been tutoring my daughter in both Chemistry and Biology, not only has my daughter got 9’s in both subjects but she also really enjoyed the tutoring, always felt listened to, went at her pace and very supportive, I can’t recommend him enough!!!

Super responsive and even at short notice a choice of tutors so parent and child can pick a profile that fits their style
Daniele was really responsive to my child’s adapting lessons and content to areas of concern and really helped understanding in the final stages of revision

Tutoring has been really great and helpful. Olivia helped me greatly in preparing for my IGCSE exams, going through questions together helped me master exam technique as well as content.

Stefan started to work with our son a few months before his GCSE Biology exam. Our son had been bored, struggling and performed poorly in his mock. Stefan’s energetic, friendly and focused approach helped improve performance in a very short time. He worked a little on content but the huge transformation for my son was on answer and exam technique which had been a frustrating area (previously he hadn’t translated content into marks due to the strict mark scheme). A very successful experience with Stefan indeed.

Stefan gave my child A level Biology tuition. He is very patient, approachable and helpful tutor. Highly recommended!

Stefan has been my son’s chemistry tutor in preparation for his end of year L6 exams. We are extremely happy with Stefan’s way of teaching, which led to a prediction grade of 7. I would definitely recommend Stefan to anyone seeking help!

Kate Bellia-Simpson provided fantastic support over the last few months, helping my son to prepare for his recent physics and biology GCSE examinations. Always positive, encouraging and flexible, she focused on exam technique and boosted his confidence in areas needing work. We can't thank Kate enough. Highly recommend!

Stefan has been a very consistent, personable tutor, who has mentored my son through his science subjects. His expertise has been excellent, lessons are well structured and he has offered flexibility and extra sessions when requested. We highly recommend him as a tutor.

While we were abroad, we wanted to ensure that our son continued to develop his already high standard of English, while also preparing him for entrance assessments to highly selective UK schools.

From the beginning, Helena understood that this was not simply a matter of exam preparation. It was important to us that his interest in English and literature was nurtured, rather than reduced to exam technique alone.

Helena is excellent at striking that balance. She prepares him carefully for the demands of competitive school entrance, including comprehension, essay structure, timing and exam technique, while also keeping the subject intellectually alive for him. She gives him challenging and genuinely interesting tasks, encourages him to think deeply, and offers insightful feedback while preserving his own voice.

Helena is not just a teacher to our son, but a real mentor: someone with whom he can discuss books, language, ideas and literature at a high level. She recognises his ability, challenges him thoughtfully, and helps him develop greater confidence in his work. It is also clear to us how much our son enjoys his lessons with Helena and how much he looks forward to them.

We also greatly appreciate the very detailed emails Helena sends after lessons, explaining what they have worked on and how he is progressing. It gives us real confidence that she understands him and is carefully considering his development.

We feel very lucky to have met Helena. She is incredibly passionate about her subject and has a rare ability to understand very quickly what a child needs, challenge them in exactly the right way, and help them grow in both confidence and ability. In our view, an hour with Helena is one of the best investments a parent can make in their child's education.

Keystone is excellent and we would highly recommend them. We have been using them since my son was in Year 5 (he is currently in Year 11) for both our children and never cease to be impressed with the quality of the tutors and the high standards of the company.

Rick was an amazing tutor who really helped me through my IB HL AI Maths course. He could explain different concepts in multiple ways to help me understand them. I really enjoyed my lessons with him.
