Big Enough For Two

I have wanted a John Cowan basket for a while! When I was able to buy one it didn’t disappoint. It came with a lovely handwritten note and the basket is now home to my pegs. Lovely to have a basket that has been handcrafted in the UK.

Perfect
I've just bought my fourth basket from John Cowan. They are all beautiful - not only to look at, with lovely shapes and subtle colours - but they're also beautiful to use: strong and sturdy, perfectly designed for their various purposes, and meticulously made. It's a delight to use them.

What a great find! The round log basket that I ordered was of excellent quality and very well made. I am now looking forward to receiving my second order. John was very accommodating in agreeing to customised the size of my second basket. He is so efficient in sending the goods once he has finished them. I truly recommend Cowan Baskets

Nicely made basket
Nicely made basket, perfect for collecting the wet washing. Cleverly designed to go under the washing machine door, and also very light, yet holds a large load. I bought this after reading another review, and am very happy with it. It's perfect, and I had been looking for a long time for something that would work for laundry, and be practical, and not made of plastic. A skilled maker of baskets, and also very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to purchase from.
