Great sales advice from Scott Arthur at Aberdeen Renault, who arranged a prompt test drive and quote, with focus on the car I wished to enquire about. This was very welcome as other car showrooms often do not do this. Scott was friendly and knowledgeable and I will highly recommend him.

Price was good and Scott, the sales person I dealt with was excellent, including checking everything was OK after I had purchased the car. Would happily buy another car from John Clark Renault in Aberdeen

Although we never purchased a Renault we were impressed with the service from the sales staff, especially Scott Arthur who went over the stuff the Scenic Electric had, answered any queries we had and explained the different ways to pay for the vehicle. Would definitely recommend.

Buying a car is usually stressful but James fair weather made the entire process smooth and transparent , he went above and beyond to help me . Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Mike was welcoming and informative from the start. He truly listened to our wants and needs for our next vehicle and found our unicorn car in rapid time. We were kept in the loop at every step and nothing was too much to ask. We would 100% recommend Mike and will definitely be back again for our next purchase.

Avoid this dealer and avoid the Capture Alpine Hybrid I am 70 years old and bought a new Captur Alpine Hybrid with my life savings as my retirement car six months ago and it’s a nightmare had many issues but most serious one is the reversing camera doesn’t function 100% in the dark and poor weather conditions after a diagnostic test I was told it’s a software issue and Renault does not at this moment have a program to correct it mabye in the future something will come through after forking out £24k at my age I was astounded to hear that answer the dealership just kept fobbing me off their Area Manager is never available so I went to Car Ombudsman but the dealership doesn’t recognise that body now I have to fork out more of my savings for court action please don’t waste your money at my time of life I should be living stress free but this dealership customer service is atrocious don’t care BEWARE

I paid an 100% deposit refundable, the car was paid in full from the lender, and John Clark Aberdeen didn't refund me yet even been asking since 8th of August. Seems to be very difficult refund me 99 pounds when they received 17.500 pound for the car.

John Clark Renault Aberdeen sold my elderly, disabled mother a second hand Vauxhall Combo in November 2025. This car was purchased to better accommodate their disability needs. She was advised by a family member to check whether the car had a wet belt, two separate members of staff (Scott and Ross) specifically told her it had a drive chain (this is not terminology she would know and was simply relaying what she had been told) rather than a wet belt and she paid cash for the vehicle.

Imagine our surprise when she took it to Albyn Garage in August 2026 to see about an oil warning light that was showing, to be told that it was caused by the wet belt beginning to deteriorate (the car is approaching 30,000 miles)!!!

We subsequently complained to John Clark Renault, who have now agreed to cover the cost of replacing the wet belt in rectification. Fair play to them, however this process could have been avoided and a lot less of everyone's time wasted had they provided the information requested prior to sale.

I am writing this review as she felt pressurised to leave a good review at the time, which is now clearly not a fair representation of her experience.

From the moment I walked in, James was friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel under any pressure. He was patient throughout the whole process and made what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable.

Nothing was too much trouble, and his communication was excellent from start to finish. He genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with my choice and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect before I drove away.

Tried the Renault 4 and was pleasantly surprised.

Have been a very pleasant experience, starting with the organisation, the reception and the staff. Totally enjoyed driving the electric Renault 4; smooth and nippy, the car had most of the option someone will look for in a car. Spacious enough and on the same time a good size to make the parking and the participation to the traffic very easy. Would recommend giving a try!
