Poor communication
First of all, apart from the 2 small warranty issues, the car is lovely.
However, from a dealership perspective the communication is woeful, even from prior to getting the car. We had to phone on the day to make sure we were getting it. When we arrived there was confusion as to what had been agreed, resulting in a trip back for resolution. We have now been waiting since mid February for the warranty work to be done due to parts supply.
Whilst the branch cannot legislate for that, what they can control is when promises to call back or email are made, they have to be met. I had to constantly chase up, and still doing that. All I have had is apologies, but nothing has changed. By some coincidence, each time I went in the Sales Manager was off that day.
I had planned to look at purchasing a further new vehicle from this branch, but now need to think long and hard about that.
This is in stark contrast to the other new car we recently purchased from another John Clark, which was without doubt a 5 star experience. Maybe this branch could take some lessons.
**EDIT May 16th**
Following the cars return for the warranty work I would like to acknowledge the efforts from service, admin to Manager who have kept good communications even though they were hampered by the supplier. I also like the fact that they follow process controls and would not release the vehicle in an unsafe condition. This is a major improvement from the front end of the process.

Polite and Helpful Staff/Disappointing Valet
Scott was professional and welcoming throughout the whole process. He made sure I was comfortable and explained most aspects of the purchase clearly.
He made sure to answer any questions I had about the history of the car in a timely manner. He was on time for appointments and worked around my schedule.
Concerns I had about the wheel on the car being dirty were addressed and by the time of pick up the wheel looked brand new.
Unfortunately I feel like the valet could have been more thorough. I understand that this is a second hand car but the gearstick appears to have been covered in make-up/dirt of some kind. The inside frame of the doors, boot hinge and door handles were all still covered in algae. This was probably due to the car being parked under a tree. I personally would ensure that these issues were addressed prior to selling the car.

From starting my search on Monday for…
From starting my search on Monday for an automatic Dacia Duster till the vehicle was delivered yesterday (Thursday) it was plain sailing and a swift transaction.
Scott Arthur made purchasing the vehicle hassle free and even when the one I originally wanted was reserved he was able to offer me an alternative which was awesome finding an automatic car can be quite difficult. Scott was able to answer all my questions and queries promptly and has been very professional throughout whilst purchasing my new car.
Highly recommend and would definitely buy another car from the Dacia Aberdeen Branch

Not blaming the salesman as only there 3 months and should have been shadowed
1 . Wasted endless time at garage for not hing
2. Picked up vehicle number of things wrong ,wiper blade ripped on back wiper, keys low battery, tyre pressure check on dashboard never been disabled, no passenger shelf at first told to order one myself till found out it had came with one, told £30 of fuel had been put in when the feul light came on next day, then Togo and fuel up to open feul cover to find it absolutely filthy and also all inside windows had to be clean as what looks like they had been cleaned with a filthy cloth ,I know this was not a brand new car but do expect it to bealot better than this very poor service.
