I worked with Farhan to prepare for a Civil Service Project Manager based interview, in which I was successful at obtaining. In all honesty, I'd attribute about 15 percent of my success to Farhan.

It seems that Farhan is not aware of how Civil Service interviews are structured, and how the candidate should answer. As most Civil Servants know, interviews are formulated around Behaviour and Strength based questions, using success profiles.

If I had followed Farhans advice, he would've taken me completely off track, and I would’ve failed. For strength based questions, which are two minutes long (which he wasn't aware of) he recommended that I should tell an introductory story to build a human connection with the panel, then respond to the question. Which completely conflicts with the advice given from my mock interviews with staff from the actual organisation, and conflicts with how civil service based strength based questions are scored.

For my behaviour based questions, he told me to skim over the details and background of my answers, and zone in solely on the question (rather than follow the S.T.A.R method used in the civil service), again which completely contradicted the advice I was given from my mock interviews.

The only benefits from Farhan was that he helped me to add some depth on a few of my answers, regarding stakeholders, innovation, and communication.

I imagine that Farhan is an amazing coach at private sector roles, but for civil service based jobs, I unfortunately cannot recommend him. He needs a proper awareness of how they are structured, and how they need to be answered. He even told me to scrap one of my answers that scored the highest at mock and interview!

If I followed his advice, as opposed to the advice taken from my own experience, and my mock interviews, I would've been unsuccessful.

I worked with Farhan to prepare for an interview in May 2020. I am in the process of making a transition in my career, and whilst I am an experienced and confident professional, I felt my interview answers lacked structure and didn't showcase my experience as well as they could have. Due to the added pressure of the current job market, I decided to invest in an interview coach to give me every chance at success.

Farhan's programme worked really well for me. I used his online modules to identify and work on responses to predicted questions. I then practiced and refined the responses in 1:1 sessions with him over Zoom.

Farhan is kind, honest, clever and experienced. I trusted his coaching and I'm glad I did, as I was successful at interview!

Even if I hadn't been successful - I wouldn't regret working with him. I already feel better prepared for my next interview, whenever that might be.

I was really nervous prior to my first ever interview but Farhan was amazing and he helped me gain confidence. As a recent graduate, I had little experience and felt lost. Two job offers from the first two interviews!

So, I needed help with preparing for an interview as I’d lost my self confidence following several failed attempts.

I was anxious about choosing Job Interviewology as I’d used online coaching websites in the past and for me nothing seemed to work. But, when I signed up with Job Interviewology, I found that Farhan was brilliant. From the first telephone conversation he was very open and honest about me as a person, highlighting my strengths, weaknesses and possible outcomes which I liked. I had been in my career for 7 Years and wanted a new challenge in a new industry but I was scared to attend interviews whenever I got shortlisted. I had not attended one in so many years and had no confidence at all. I started looking online for help, any type of help to prepare for my first interview and then I came across Job Inerviewology.
