Recently took my Audi A5 to Doncaster Audi due to a problem with the in car heating system. After diagnostics was informed that my car needed a replacement heat matrix at a cost of £2052.84 . After some research on the internet i found that the most common problem was the coolant control valve , l checked this valve and found it to be stuck closed not allowing coolant to circulate through the heating matrix, l replaced this valve my self at the cost of £ 33.00 a 10 minute job. My question is how as not being a trained Audi technician can i identify this common and well documented issue when the trained Audi technician can not. Maybe they need some refresher training on how to identify simple problems

I purchased a Golf GTD that unfortunately suffered from a significant vibration at motorway speeds from day one. The initial diagnostic process was challenging, with JCT600 being unable to fix the issue after 2 seperate inspections.

After escalating the matter to the Sales Manager (Shaun) and the Service Manager (Simon), I was provided with a brand-new 2025 Golf R-Line courtesy car while a thorough investigation took place.

The root cause was eventually identified: both rear tyres contained emergency liquid sealant. This had been missed during the pre-sale checks, the "Approved Used" inspections, and two subsequent inspections.

Shaun personally road-tested the vehicle to verify the fix and offered a sincere apology. The dealership replaced both rear tyres and refunded the £40 I spent on an independent diagnosis.

I have now collected the car and it is running perfectly. While the initial journey was frustrating, once I'd raised my frustration and concerns to Scott the matter was resolved smoothly. I am now happy with the vehicle and the final support provided.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. The team at JCT600 were genuinely friendly, approachable, and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. Nothing felt rushed or salesy and they took the time to listen, answered every question clearly, and went out of their way to be helpful. It’s rare to find customer service this warm and professional at the same time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be back.

In Dec 2024 we purchased a new Mercedes Benz GLC from JCT600 Mercedes Benz in Harrogate. We've just been back for our first service and have to say the service you receive in this dealership is exceptional. The team are well trained, polite and provide service with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. This dealership is quite literally a breath of fresh in a sector where standards can vary dramatically. Keep up the great work everyone.

I recently bought my Mercedes C300 from JCT600 in York. I’d been shopping around for a mid size estate and had a number of contenders but was fed up of my trade in being undervalued or the back and forward negotiation at other dealers. Then by pure chance I met Freddie Brown at JCT600 and in no time the deal was done. Freddie was easy to get on with, worked with me to get the deal that both sides were happy with and was no nonsense. He knew the product inside and out and was a really great ambassador for the brand and for JCT.

£250 deposit paid…then told on day of collection that they have deducted £25 for fuel!..no receipt available.
Took car home, phoned them the next day to advise steering wheel sits to the left not central and car pulls to the left..was told “no that would have been picked up on MOT”…really????…its not part of the MOT!…implied i’d been slamming it into pot holes!….then battle commenced,
I wasn’t going to back down but it took 3 days of phone calls and them trying to talk down too me and emails copying in the CEO to get it resolved and them agreeing to pay for it, (so much for the aftercare and warranty!)I booked into an RAC approved garage, yep it was all out of alignment,…oh the deposit … well picked the car up on Thursday, advised card cloned and gave my bank details for the refund…chased refund on monday…wanted my bank details again on Tuesday and Wednesday..told them you have them!…Expressed my absolute displeasure about the £25 and how it comes across as “underhanded”said they would refund the fuel charge, part refund appeared Thursday…£25 not refunded as promised in writing, so I did a charge back for that as it was unauthorised, and i have the video they sent me after the deposit telling me about the deduction they had made, saved separately as they will probably try to delete it…not getting honest vibes at all.
Don’t use JCT600 go somewhere else, you think you’re getting looked after…you aren’t.
The car is great now it’s going in a straight line, but if anything goes wrong , you think “Wow, 6 month warranty”…Yeah right!…like i said it’s going to be interesting if i need it, just thankful my issues were not serious, only cost them a paltry £48 to rectify…just think about that…i’ll wait.
So now i’ll sit and wait for the standard reply from JCT on the other reviews that are 1 star.

Did my Audi service, good service, returned me a clean car.

Bought a car from Doncaster JCT600 Salesperson was good, we took out two policies service and body care. We decided within a week the car wasn’t right for us so cancelled the service plan and body care as directed as we are entitled a full refund. Since then over the last few weeks we have done nothing but chase our money over £1000 refund. Told by Doncaster can take a month yet all other finance depts of Audi say 5 to 7 days! Complaint gone to CEO no response, to branch manager no response. Where is our money???

Initially helpful JCT600 VW Sheffield. Luke Wadsworth Thurnham would call every 2/3 days to check everything was ok. Which it was. Then you make your first payment and receive the vehicle. He suddenly disappeared and then when you made contact he was completely unable to help with VW finance and washed his hands of the situation! A complete about turn!
The bog standard number provided for VW finance is a scam....you will be on hold for days! Clearly nobody is answering the calls! The only other way to contact VW finance is through an email but you have to register first. When you attempt to register it states unable to validate! I only had 14 days to clear my finance agreement and Jct 600 chose not to help! Which created much stress! After much searching for several days I found a genuine phone number 0330 100 9848 who were very helpful and answered the call straight away. Jct600 Sheffield chose not to disclose this genuine number where you would receive assistance!

Had my car a week now although they only needed it for a day. I gave them permission to keep the car for the week should they need to complete jobs on other vehicles as i didn't need it until the weekend. Well the weekend is here I’ve got no car and no answers even though I’ve been chasing them for two days now. I was told on Friday around 15:00 that I’d get a courtesy car and a call from a manager, heard nothing. Shocking customer care and no concern whatsoever about circumstances. If you can book your vehicle in somewhere else!!!!

5 star service every time from JCT600 Audi Hull. Great communication through the whole process by the service team and free coffee and car valet thrown in too.

Just bought an Audi from Doncaster and the process was seamless from the start to the finish. JCT at Doncaster gave me a good deal and Vijay was a top guy to deal with, very professional and attentive but he also realised that I did not want fuss and just wanted to buy a car.
Top work from Doncaster, well done, very pleased with them.

Now we get on to a short commentary about JCT600 York and Hull!
I barely spent any time in York because the part ex price offered by them on my car was quite frankly ridiculous, it was nowhere even near a starting point for negotiating it was that bad!

I then moved on to Hull where the part ex price jumped by £1500 (on the same day!), I didn't like the deal so went back to them a week later on a different car where they quoted payments on the same car that Doncaster sold me for £47 pcm more!

I sold my car privately to a dealer (who is going to make a nice profit on it) for £4000 more than York offered and £2500 more than Hull offered.

Both of those outlets would be 2* at the most based on my experience of them but Doncaster came through 5* all the way.

Audi JCT 600 Sheffield were very helpful in ordering a part for my son’s car. They were very quick in ordering and kept me Informed all through the process.

I mainly dealt with Kenny who was really good. Customer Service excellent

We took our car to JCT600 Seat Menston on 28th of October due a handbrake malfunction. We were looked after very well indeed. By phone the lady on reception managed to hold a loan car for us the day before and introduced us to Steve Collett on the day who took care of us by providing a loan Seat Arona car to use whilst ours was being repaired for 2 days. JCT600 technicians made a video and determined the fault to a switch and swiftly obtained one for fitment and the car was ready for collection the very next day. JCT600 offered to waive further charges of our loan car if the part took longer to arrive than expected. We were thoroughly impressed with the standard of service and repair from JCT600 which to be honest is something that we have grown accustomed to over the 60 years plus that we have been a customer at its various dealerships! Their service is faultless!

Castleford JCT600- Jordan and Mandy especially were just so helpful. Having had several sketchy experiences with used car purchases, I can say the JCT600 experience has actually been a pleasure. Simple, easy, great customer service, quality. Would not hesitate to reccomend.

I went for a service I was greeted by aleksandra what a beautiful human is she went threw everything with me and told me told me what had come up In my inspection explained everything in detail my experience was hands down was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership she was so professional but friendly at the same time she definitely needs some recognition what a tremendous job

I bought a brand new and unregistered Golf ETSi (150ps) which I took delivery of in August 2025. I got a superb deal which was even better than one from 'DTD'. The buying experience was superb (Kays Zafar) and with no sales pressure whatsoever. Product knowledge by Kays was also impressive. After only 2 weeks, the car unexpectedly developed a serious engine system fault (no fault of JCT600) and so I rejected the car under my Sale of Goods Act entitlement. Kays and the management could not have been more helpful and the car was taken back absent fuss and a brand new unregistered (like) model was with me within a couple of weeks. Indeed, they even included metallic paint FOC. All companies should be judged upon not when things go 'right', but as is always inevitable, when something goes 'wrong' as it will and no matter how good the product. THAT is the true mark of a great customer service and experience. JCT ameliorated the issue to my complete satisfaction and I will not hesitate to buy my next VW from Kays and the team at VW Sheffield branch. Many thanks once again. Gary Needham
