Jan Forster Estates Anmeldelser

Rude staff

Our experience with John Forster estate agents was extremely disappointing. We dealt with female staff member.
was rude and dismissive. She repeatedly talked over us, leaving us feeling unable to explain ourselves or ask questions properly.

We felt spoken down to and treated as though we didn’t know what we were talking about. Her manner throughout the conversation came across as disrespectful and unprofessional.

Based on this experience, we would not recommend the company.

We have just sold our 3 bedroom semi detached family home with Jan Forster Estate Agents (Brunton Park).
From the first visit to this branch we spoke to Susi and felt that this was the Estate agents we were happy to use to sell our property.
The valuation team came out took lots of lovely pictures and got the house up for sale within hours of it going on line we had a viewing . The next few days we had several viewings and an offer that we accepted.
All of the team were professional , friendly and polite and kept us updated with every aspects of the sale in particular Lorraine Robinson and Susi Potrac. Thanks to the team .

Lorraine was absolutely amazing and an absolute star! exceptional service from her!

Fantastic estate agents from start to finish they did everything I could have asked for sooth efficiency helpful in selling my home working away on the oil rigs for long periods of time these guys took the stress away from me Thankyou again 5 star service

From beginning to end the sale of our property was handled professionaly and seamlessly, from the initial valuation by Helen to arranging viewings and negotiating with prospective buyers by Lorraine Robinson, as we were going away on holiday it was all left in their capable hands.

Big thanks to Jerod and the team.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for the consistently outstanding service you've provided. I've dealt with Jerod on numerous occasions when letting or selling my property, and he's been a joy to work with—full of character, straight-talking, and always professional in his role. His approach makes what can be a high-stress process smooth and straightforward, and I genuinely appreciate the clarity and advice you offer.

Your colleagues at Jan Forster Estates have also impressed me—consistently excellent to deal with, and the office team are fantastic at what they do. I’d highly recommend Jan Forster for any property needs.

Lorraine was very helpful in organising the marketing of my property, very responsive and attentive. Any minor issues were dealt with quickly and the process was very smooth.

We have bought and sold a number of houses through Jan Forster Estates and have always been totally impressed with their efficiency and pro active approach to getting the property to market and out there as soon as possible. This last house has been sold through Lorraine and her team within a month. She has given us exceptional service and we trust her completely. This is so rare these days.

Very efficient and professional.

5 stars for Susi for her patience with me and my lack of technology know how

What can I say! I have been with JanForster Estates for quite some years as they managed my property and in all that time they have been there for me and my tenants when any problem arose always with a prompt professional attitude! So to ALL the Management Team 5*

This year I decided to sell my property and yes it’s been a difficult year for apartments - but they did their best and as I write I am hopefully in the process of finalising a purchase which was with the help of those at JanForster Estate, so my thanks go to Lorraine and Jerod for good customer service so 5* on Sales!
Thank You!!

Jan Forster and Lorraine Robinson in particular were fab during the whole process of selling my flat. Very smooth from start to finish 👍

Lorraine has been so helpful and kept us up to date every step of the way. From the initial meeting with Jerod placing our bungalow on the market and guiding us through the process has been a pleasant experience. The price achieved and market strategy was spot on. Thanks to all the team at Jan Forster for making a usually stressful time into a smooth transition for us. Many thanks dawn raffle.

Susie in gosforth office has been very helpfull .It makes such a difference when in process of buying a property when your worries are sorted quickly and always returns my phone calls

For the second time in two years I have had the pleasure of working with Jan Forster estates. They have been super efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. I built an excellent relationship with Lorraine Robinson in particular who managed my house sale brilliantly…thank you!

Oustanding service from Lorraine and the team at Jan Forster. Explained each step of the process clearly, and ensured the sale progressed quickly and smoothly. Thank you ever so much.

Mel, Helen and Lorraine have been absolutely fantastic! Such a friendly, helpful company. They had my house sold at the asking price within 1 week! You can't get better service than that! Would highly recommend Jan Forster. I can't thank them highly enough.

In a world where we communicate via AI, it is such a refreshing change to find a friendly, knowledgeable and professional local Estate Agent.
Susi Potrac at the Gosforth branch is so responsive-super quick to both reply to, and resolve, any queries.
So refreshing to be able to speak to a real person who answers the phone swiftly and responds to emails/calls in real time.
A stark contrast to the distinct lack of any customer service on offer at my local Estate Agent in Westmoor.
Highly recommended and thanks for all your help.

Sold our home initially in June 2025 within 2 days of being on the market, with Jan Forsters advertising to their “waiting list” of customers for our property type/location. Chain broke down later that year through no fault of Jan Forsters who were brilliant throughout in chasing the chain. Jan Forsters advised us to remarket in March 2026, again sold within several days of advertising from proceedable buyers known to Jan Forsters. Sale completed 19/6/26 without any issues, wonderful service from Jan Forsters, (Susi in particular), and would highly recommend them to sell your home.

Sold property thanks to Susi and all at Jan Forster Estates. Very happy with everything they done from start to finish and would certainly recommend.

They tried to sell a subsidised house without disclosing any of this information to us, including the fact that the house sits on a mine entry. In addition, they conducted group viewings, which felt totally disrespectful. If there was too much interest, they should have pre-qualified potential buyers or simply been honest about the condition of the house.
