I have been on Insight Timer for 8+ years now and I can't imagine life without it frankly! I listen to meditations or meditation music every night to go to sleep as well as the timer every morning for my meditation practice. I love that I can see my progress and the multitude of selections available through the platform.

I had a meditation on this website for some years. I had good reviews and earned a small amount of money. Now Insight timer is refusing to pay me the money I earned for some reason. I removed the meditation as insight timer did nothing to promote my services and I felt it was not getting good exposure on there despite the fact that the people that used the meditation liked it. Insight timer did little, if anything to promote me. Now they keep saying there is some issue in finance department with the money they owe me, but the email is coming from finance department. I have asked many times for the payment and keep getting fobbed off. Don't trust this company if they can cheat the people that trust them to promote them and not give them the dollars they are entitled to.

I don't have any complaints about the app. I enjoyed the content that people posted on it. However, the company has some serious ethical issues (ironic considering it is a personal growth app). I requested that they close my account as a teacher and remove my content. I was told that they would but they didn't. I decided to overlook that. I figured it was an oversight. I recently tried to cancel my paid membership because my husband puchased a family membership. It said it had not record of a credit card on its account and to check with Google Play. There was no record on Google Play either. They made it impossible to cancel my subscription and charged me again. I contacted them and a Bot responded to me. It said it would cancel my subscription but it would not refund me the money. However, I fear that it will happen again. There is either a serious flaw in their system or they are purposely making it hard to close an account. As I was aggravated by the situation, I was again tried to contact the company to have the content I had published removed. They do not make it easy. I am waiting for the Bot to contact me back about it. Be careful dealing with this company.

It was recommended that i try insight timer after taking mindfulness based stress reduction classes to keep me on track. That was over 6 years ago and i have not missed a day since. There is a meditation for every subject under the sun. And with premium, there are courses available.

I've had the pleasure of having this wonderful app for many years. Easily one of my most favorite, most used, invaluable apps on my phone. The developers have made many changes over the years and I have happily been there with each improvement, addition and wonderful new features. Ive loved learning more about myself and finding a little peace everyday because of Insight Timer. I highly recommend this app to all humans! I will always be part of this great community.

Since June 2021 I have not missed a day of meditation in Insight Timer. There are so many meditations, talks, corses and live sessions. The meditations, courses and live sessions have helped me grow. The sleep ones help me drift off into a deep sleep while listening to affirmations. My self love and compassion have increased. I have had help changing bad habits. Being in the moment and mindfulness are skills meditation has helped me with. I highly recommend Insight Timer. Their support staff is wonderful too.

This is a wonderful resource! The app has thousands of different kinds of meditations, visualisations of all kinds, full courses and then a simple timed period of silence, if that’s what you prefer. The sheer range of meditations available is inspiring… you can try different ones every day, but you can also create playlists of your favourites. Highly recommend this app!

I’ve sampled so many meditation apps over the years, and the one I consistently use is Insight Timer…every day! It has everything I need from the Timer I use every morning, to all the live sessions of talks, meditations and yoga practice that keeps me calm, healthy and sane during these insane times! It’s my go to for learning too. If you want one app to offer all that you need—this is the one!

Absolutely awful update in May 2025

Please for the love of god change it back so I can listen to some peaceful meditations and fall asleep again

After navigating a series of questions when before it was easy click options, it said over 9000 meditations available… yet it is listed in the same order every time. Do you expect us to scroll through all 9000 meditations to reach different ones? I feel so sorry for any teachers that wasted their time posting on your software that will never be heard.

I have been using Insight Timer every day for 10+ years. From international travel the calendar got messed up, but I have not missed a day!! I have downloaded this onto 100s of my patients' phones and recommended it to anyone who will listen! Medical studies I learned about many years ago, have proven that meditation lengthens telomeres and repairs cell damage. If you are one of the people who says, "Wah, wah, wah... I can't meditate, blah blah blah" then start with one that is only one minute in duration. I think you can sit still for one minute. Do yourself a favor (and by doing so, the people around you will benefit, too!)

I am on Insight Timer every day...a great way to start the day with gratitude. I also use the IT app throughout the day and evening with relaxation, yoga nidras, sleep music and meditations...And I am always recommending it to others. Whenever I need support the team has answered my questions promptly.

Through insight timer. I connected with my spiritual gifts post my awakening. I don't know how I ever was without it! I now am connected to another level and my highest self!
