Very Rude Staff In Brighton!
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction concerning a recent experience at your store which I found distressing and unacceptable.
While shopping, I briefly placed my basket next to me, at which point a staff member requested that I carry it due to h&s reasons of shop.But they didn't care about my health at all or asked if i can manage to carry my basket at all times with me in my hand. I had to leave my basket on floor and rest due to health reasons. Anyway, I responded politely, intending to comply, and continued my shopping. Shortly afterwards, in another aisle, I set my basket on the floor again, I had to due to health reasons while selecting items. A different staff member approached me, telling me to pick up my basket without any courtesy or explanation. I felt I was being followed and directly questioned the staff about this.Were they following me, the staff member then called me rude, which I found offensive and unjustifiedand started to question him and told him how dare he was communicating that way, I believe it was inappropriate and unprofessional for staff to address me in this manner. I than had a discussion with another woman and a man,EVEN she crosses the limit and I was asked to leave the store as she listened the guy and believed him that I was rude but i was not at all. Because i questioned him, he didn't like it.
This incident highlights a significant lack of staff awareness around disabilities—particularly those not immediately visible—and proper communication with customers. The situation could have been managed with much greater politeness and understanding. I strongly urge your management to provide comprehensive training for your staff on engaging with disabled and even normal customers and ensuring all patrons are treated with respect and dignity at all times.Your customer guy put his ego first not the customer.. H
I for sure NOT doing my shopping again amd do not recommend anyone to spend their precious money.
I was never offered any help about basket, only afterwards the other rude woman who asked me to leave which was too much as i wasnt a thief or criminal, mentioned the use of pushable baskets, it should have been offered at the first place when i was asked, they think h n s of their shop and other customers but they did nothing to help me about the basket rather than telling me to carry aeound all the time when i was not able too and being real rude, blame full.. SHAME ON YOU INFINITY FOODS.
