Don't waste your time or money
I give the app two stars because I do like how it looks. That's literally it. When I first signed up years ago, I like it because they had the feature where a client must add payment information to accept a proposal. Also, sort of like (although it was underdeveloped) a feature where you could have a link and the client could add the services (count of pointless thouhg because then you still had to send the client the proposal so it's like what was the point of them signing up?) Regardless ever since they have barely added anything else. Have two confusing "classic proposal" vs New one and they finally come out with something that could be useful which if forms and "leads" (seems kind of pointless so far) and they are charging $50/each per month each. I mean for $50 you can get an actual forms site with conditional logic etc. This doesn't even have that. I mean it's worse then a google form!!! This was the last straw. It'd be one thing if they included that in their plans but you're paying $200+ a month for what? and now with their wack form and leads (which again don't see the point) it's an additional $100/month.
I CANNOT WAIT TILL TAX SEASON IS OVER SO I CAN LEAVE!
If you wanna pay premium gas prices for regular gas, this would be that. Nothing unique or special about it to justify the cost.
And I'm not even getting to refunds being a pain, less integrations with Make/Zapier, and money taking long to receive (no instant payment option) I mean I could go on.
Still waiting for a refund processed weeks ago
I'm a client of an accounting company. I paid through ignition. I'm now owed a refund which the accounting company is processing through Ignition. Ignition are playing hard ball refunding the money, the accounting company tell me it left their account over two weeks ago, however I'm still to receive it. I don't trust Ignition and I will NEVER become a client of a company using Ignition.
Life is a breeze with PI
We have hundreds of clients operating through Practice Ignition and with the new Client Acceptance Portal makes it very easy for us to manage the on boarding and fee collection of our clients especially those on monthly subscriptions.
The program continues to develop and with a few more modifications is close to being perfect for a modern day Accounting/Advisory Firm.

Practice Ignition is a must for any professional services practice.
This is probably the single most indispensable tool in our practice. It allows us to get clients signed in a fast and efficient manner and ensure we have communicated our terms of service effectively. It also provides a great dashboard and excellent integration with Xero and Practice Manager so it functions as our CRM platform as well.
Total Gamechanger --- So many things to love about Practice Ignition
Before PI, our onboarding process was slow and unprofessional. I would have to manually write up contracts and export them as an unsightly .pdf files. Then the client would have to sign it, and I would send out the invoice to get started with services (which often went unpaid for several days or weeks).
Now this process is a total breeze.
I use contract templates, direct prospects to a branded landing page, and payment is received upon signing the agreement.
I'd say we save an hour to two hours for each new client, plus we never have to deal with receivables anymore. Literally ever part of the process has improved for us.
And if that wasn't enough, the analytics dashboard that was released this past year has really helped us visualize our financial trends. I couldn't be happier.
p.s. I know this review seems unreasonably biased, but PI is literally one of only two or three softwares that I would unquestionably recommend for accountants if they can afford it.
Wouldn't run my business without it!

Now, I can set-up the perfect contract and have Practice Ignition "force" my clients to pay me automatically. The invoices are pushed to QBO, the money comes in, and I'm a very happy business owner.Thank you Practice Ignition!
Easy to use a must have
It is one of those apps that I should have used ages ago. Its so easy to use and the training is excellent. The reponse from clients has ben eexcellent
Great billing platform for monthly, flat-fee based professional services
I have been using Practice Ignition now for the past two months. I have started a new accounting and bookkeeping practice and was looking for an automated way to bill clients on monthly, flat-fee based engagements. I found PI and am so glad I did. This software is simple, intuitive and takes a huge burden off of my shoulders when it comes to billing. It is as close as you can come to 'set it and forget it' billing. I highly recommend this software to any professional services company with similar billing practices.
Top Notch
This app does everything from engagement letters to collecting payments, even a light CRM. PI makes it incredibly easy to manage your customers and workload. By far the best in its league!
Practice Ignition is top notch, it's the bees knees, etc.
So intuitive and easy to use, and the support staff is extremely attentive and easy to work with. I have been using all sorts of antiquated systems cobbled together for engagement management, billing, quoting, etc. - this ties it all together! I really couldn't be happier with the product.
