Wow. My dryer died and they couldn't even get a repair person to call me. After 10 days they said that I could try to find one myself. What?!? The customer service was awful, long wait times on the phone, NO customer service on the weekends or at night. They didn't call me when I left voice mails or answer emails that I sent. Nothing. I cancelled and bought a new dryer. When I cancelled, they didn't even try to fix the issue so I never heard from a repair person. WASTE of time.

I have had many home warranty services over the years. This is by far the worst! I tried to have my range fixed. So they send a company and say they have to replace my ignitor. The Home Service Club says that it is an electrical issue and cannot be replaced, so they offer me a discount on a new range. After going around in circles for a few months, I hire my own technician, who replaced a 25 dollar switch in 30 minutes on the spot! The range works perfect. Now the worst part is that I am trying to cancel my contract with them, they won't even let me cancel! They say I have to wait 30 to 45 days to cancel a bad contract with them. Tina was especially rude on the phone saying their company did nothing wrong. The whole episode is unbelievable. I have had many other home warranty services that have worked on my ranges. I have NEVER dealt with this poor customer service. I would avoid this company at all costs!

I am a real customer, with HSC policies on THREE different properties, based on these reviews. These reviews must be fake or bot generated. Customer Service agents are customer facing, answer the phone but know nothing and have to 'contact the proper department'. 5 of my 6 issues were not covered (sink faucets, shower valves, slow draining sink's) . Once you file a claim on-line, there is no way to check status on-line without calling in, to those same polite but unhelpful agents. NOTE that the $65 call out fee is for diagnostics, even if your issue isn't covered. The work won't be done the day the technician finally arrives, but instead will be scheduled later, and only if Home Warranty Club approves the claim.

My brother couldn't for the life of him figure out what went wrong with the microwave. I don't know what he did to it but it was busted all right. Good thing Home Service Club fixed it for us in a jiffy! Super thanks!

I feel so blessed to get Home Service Club for my new home. I've been trying to look for a good home warranty company and my sister recommended HSC to me. I'm enjoying their fast and efficient services! They fixed my trash disposal and I'm looking for the chance to use my pest control as well since that was an add-in

The fix it guy sent by Home Service Club to fix my malfunctioning heater was amazing! He checked the unit and when he realized that it was already irreplacable, he told me that he would just replace it for me. It only took him a couple of days to replace it!

My brother talked to an HSC representative and asked him to send over a repair guy who could fix our wonky ac. The agent was friendly and polite but the repair guy that they sent over took hours before he could fix the unit. Maybe he wasn't as knowledgeable as we thought he would be.

This company is not a scam but has terrible customer service. I have had a broken HVAC since 10 days but with no resolution or even an indication what the next steps are. I have called every day twice and I keep getting told that the “proper department” is looking at it and they will call me back. At this point the senior management should look into it before enough consumers join for a class action against it for risks they are exposing children’s and elderly to in summer months with these delays.

Absolutely the WORST warranty company.
Beware they will never repair your appliance. They checked my refrigerator after a service request callm and said this particular issue is not covered. So I end up losing $95.
I have put an A/C service complaint and 3 weeks now nobody has shown up, even after more than 25 calls and I have given up.
Their call center is a joke with 30 mins wait time and then you are cut off. you leave call back number and no body calls back.
Please do not waste your money with this SCAM warranty company. They just take your money and literally cover nothing when time comes for repairs.

I purchased a warranty well over a month ago. After many many many attempts on line and telephonic, I never received anything. Not even an e-mail. I was told numerous times that they had not assigned anyone to my claim and my issue was expedited (still nothing). I tired to cancel my contract only to be placed on hold and no one came back to the phone for over an hour. Finally I was told 30-45 days for a refund.

I have never felt so pampered like how I have been treated in HSC! I am in love with the service and efficiency that they offer to me. There are better ways to repair my washer for sure but I thought it would be best to tell HSC about it in the hopes that it would be covered! It was and I waited a bit for an appointment but it was all good

I currently have 5 open service requests with them. I call them daily and this is a normal response. "We have assigned a repair technician to your case. Have you been notified?"

No I was never notified by email or phone. I then call the technician and they have never heard of HSC Warranty. They then call HSC and call me back and tell me that it sounds like a scam.

Similar experience with another company. They were not notified, but when I call them they tell me that HSC is horrible and they don't work with them.

Another company says that they will send a plumber. Then the next day call and they say they can't come because HSC won't pay them a reasonable fee.

You can submit service requests online but there is no way to check the status online. You don't know when a technician gets assigned unless you call them. They say they call and send emails but I have NEVER received any calls or emails from them.

This is a very frustrating situation because you buy a warranty to take care of things that break but this company has yet to follow through without a lot of work on my part. They so far have fixed one thing, my dishwasher. Today when I called they apologized that it wasn't fixed but this was the one thing that was fixed.

Tom the support guy was amazed, "Your dishwasher was fixed? Did you pay the fee?" Yes, I told him. (They have a $65 fee for each service call, yes I paid it and the dishwasher was fixed.).

Scam or inept? Hard to tell. If it's inept, maybe they can get better. Fingers crossed.

All my booboos can now be swept away by the magic and power of HSC! My ex hurt my heart a lot and I don't trust easily anymore. But thanks to HSC, I know that men can be helpful and friendly as well. They fixed my AC system for me and I don't need any help from a man in my life side from HSC.

They are geniuses of their craft, there's no doubt about it! I asked for help for my roof and I am fortunate that I decided to get roof coverage last minute. They covered it and that saved me a bunch of money

Currently pursuing a lawsuit against this company for home warranty fraud, catching them in flat out lies and denial of service in an 11-month battle to get our freezer fixed. I would never recommend this company and the anguish it has caused our family.

YOU GUYS ARE BIG RIP OFF. Took money for warranty and made me pay for SERVICE CALL on JULY 27, 2020. Making us call you 3 to 4 times a day for update and never gave us update since last 10 days. Every time I call it's all BS stories.
NO CALL till today from APPRAISAL Department or supervisor.

Supervisor ticket was also raised. 913448.

Call me immediately with status on the service call made on July 26, 2020.

My family has used there services for over twenty five years but their customer care policies don’t seem as important anymore.

I have had good experiences in the past but when
I really needed them to listen....they let me down.

All they cared about was that I signed an agreement and that was that....to bad for me.

I had a flat roof replaced because of a leak and their contractor told us it would never leak again. It has been just over 5 years ago and it’s leaking again.....to bad for me.

They even told me the Toronto Roofing Industries had gone out of business.

All their contractors also complain that Homeservice takes a big cut so they have to quote higher.

They push how great their Club wil be there to help you down the road but they are empty promises.

I will never deal with them again and I do not recommend signing up for their membership

My water heater suddenly broke and since I've been with home service club for almost 2 years now I requested for a claim and told me that they would be delivering service as soon as possible. Well, I was not disappointed. The next day, the repairman came and checked the water heater and fixed it on the spot. Thank you for the great service HSC.

1st claim for dishwasher. Their rep says that they have an internal formula that is not part of their contract that allows them to deny paying ANY cost for my replacement unit. Since the value of my dishwasher is zero they are offering me a courtesy credit of $100 if I purchase from Lowe's which happens to be most expensive brands... So I paid over $600 and just moved into my very first home to get ripped off in a whole new way from these people. Yeah they are somehow claiming to be honoring their contract.

My dryer stopped working and it took over 4 weeks to arrange for an appointment [I have kept track of all the dates]. When HSC arranged for an appliance company, they had no relationship with that company so I was charged with the final bill of over 100$. When I requested to speak with someone in the cancellation department, my account was terminated without notice and without email confirmation. Call backs from managers take 72h. Maybe it's a different service in the Seattle area. I do not recommend them.
