We used Howdens Penge on the advice of our builder and it was a very good decision. The quality of the kitchen units is great (Frome in Ash Green) and they were delivered on time with very good liaison with the builder.
Sahar who designed the kitchen was excellent. It looked exactly as the (many) CAD designs she produced for us. She was super friendly, professional and flexible, and spent as much time as we needed to get it just right and made some last minute design adjustments with us and the builder when we decided we wanted a bigger fridge and a few other changes. I would highly recommend.

Bought a new Chelford kitchen and appliances from Howdens Penge branch - designer Sahar Hadian there was really helpful and provided a clear plan with 3D design pictures. It included some clever design ideas to maximise storage in a small space and it all fitted in perfectly. We had a couple of issues which were rectified immediately which helped keep the refit on track. Sahar was always available to provide friendly professional help and advice when needed and I can’t recommend her and Howdens Penge more!

They took the time to listen to my needs and provided knowledgeable advice on kitchen designs and products.
Overall, I highly recommend Howdens Penge for anyone looking to renovate or update their kitchen. Excellent service, a wide range of products, and great quality all combine to create a positive experience.

Complete nightmare experience. First they measured my kitchen wrong. When I pointed out the mistake they didn't correct it and delivered a kitchen that was too big and looks terrible. Not at all what I wanted. They then refused to refund the superfluous bits. Next I discovered that they sent the wrong tap. Now discovered that the wrong hob was installed. And they refuse to send me my invoice so I can't see what I paid for and what was delivered. Worst, most incompetent and least unhelpful company I ever had the misfortune to give my hard earned money to.

Edited to say no team ever got in touch. An official letter of complaint was ignored and I'm in touch with my lawyer. Worst experience of my life. Horrible company, nasty, incompetent and corrupt.

As an independent kitchen installer, Howdens Penge is, without doubt, my recommended branch of choice. Jim Berkshire, the branch Manager, is both knowledgeable and proactive; and his focus and commitment to customer satisfaction is clear. The team is also lovely and, as a whole, practices an excellent attitude toward successful projects. From initial design survey enquiries, through to post installation snagging, Howdens Penge delivers.

On time order, is on point, collection is great

Well what can I say, what a fantastic service I went backwards and forwards to Jim over and over again changing things and he was fantastic the whole way through, also my quote was put together by Victoria which was also fantastic, change this change that, all together fantastic team

Howdens was completely dismissive of my complaint about the substandard quality of a work top and the appallingly aggressive staff at the Penge branch
I was basically dismissed on the basis they have received no complaints about the product and any issues with staff would be dealt with internally. Looking at the number of one star reviews online . Clearly I am not alone. It was a shocking experience and it was made worse by the fact that it seems to be the case that as the ultimate consumer they clearly have difficulty accepting any responsibility for actions or their products that they conveniently only say they sell to trade. Very poor show. Shame on you!

Where do I even start…? Paul at Howdens Penge has been an absolute Godsend. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, calm, reassuring, unflappable. He made the whole thing feel effortless and was completely calm and upbeat throughout. We are renovating the whole house and there’s an awful lot going on, but the kitchen has been one of the smoothest areas, largely down to how Paul made me feel nothing would ever be an issue. I had to make quite a few changes and I wish I could have been an easier customer, but it’s my first kitchen refit and you don’t know what you don’t know! You can rest assured you are safe hands with Paul at Howdens Penge. Thank you Paul!

Howdens in Penge gave us TERRIBLE follow up service when we bought our kitchen 3 years ago.
This went on until about ten months ago. We were told different things by different managers. I finally have time to write this review. Steer clear of their ovens! And the cabinets are cheap looking.

Very good service

Jim at Howdens in Penge designed my kitchen for me 5 years ago- working in close collaboration with my builder and did an amazing job. 5 years later he continues to respond to follow up requests (the latest sourcing replacement cartridges for my taps). Amazing service and I would continue to recommend Jim and Howdens.
