Howdens - Altrincham Anmeldelser 

I recently had a disappointing experience with Howdens in Altrincham. I was looking for an in-frame utility to match my kitchen, and one of their designers introduced me to the Elmbridge range, assuring me that it was in-frame and the closest match to my kitchen.

Eager to achieve a seamless look in my kitchen, I was willing to pay a premium over my budget for the Elmbridge range. What's even more frustrating is that before I made the purchase, the manager was incredibly keen and attentive, promising top-notch service.

However, my disappointment knew no bounds when the furniture was finally fitted, only to discover that it was not in-frame as promised. I reached out to Howdens Altrincham and spoke to the manager, John Worthington, about the issue. Unfortunately, they showed little interest in rectifying the situation. Despite promises of a call back, I was left in the lurch. This kind of attitude implies that they care more about making sales than ensuring customer satisfaction.

In the end, I paid a significant amount for a utility that failed to match my kitchen, and the complete shift in attitude from the manager after the sale has left me thoroughly disappointed. I would not recommend Howdens Altrincham based on my experience.

I would like to express my gratitude to the colleagues at the Altrincham branch. I made numerous changes, but they were always patient and willing to accommodate my revisions to create the best solution for me. I want to give special thanks to ❤️Chantelle❤️, who consistently answered my questions and made changes for me with great courtesy and patience. Having employees like her truly elevates Howdens. The prices are affordable, the designs are aesthetically pleasing, and the products are durable. Most importantly, the colleagues at the Altrincham branch made me, as a customer, extremely satisfied.

Chris came round house and planned the kitchen , took his time with us didn't rush us , went to showroom to look at 3d on computer changed a few things again wasn't rushed took his time with us overall a good experience

Altrincham branch showed a very proactive & commercial approach to designing & supplying my kitchen with special thanks to Amanda who was so very patient and experienced in kitchen planning giving lots of clever ideas & support. John the branch manager was always on hand if issues needed resolving.

Bit of shambles, really. Not alot correct with the order, which was only basic anyway, and poor communication

From start to finish, we couldn’t of had a better experience in the Altrincham branch. When in store Amanda paid such attention to detail, she even had children's toys for my little boy to play with whilst we chose cupboard doors. The kitchen was delivered in perfect timing with a phone-call on the way. We used an amazing kitchen fitter suggested by Howdens and he also fitted our floor which looks amazing and clicked together so easily. John has helped with all our queries and made sure everything ran smoothly. Couldn’t recommend Howdens enough, they have helped us make our dream kitchen!

Had a couple of kitchens through John and the team over in Altrincham! The start of an amazing relationship, straight, honest people who get the job done!

I bought a kitchen and utility from Howdens spent £16750 with them, payed in full to secure pricing. I had some delays with build so they was fine to hold onto the funds until I was ready. I then had it delivered and stored in my garage as we had more delays. Finally we had the kitchen fitter round and from the start was a nightmare. There was missing doors missing parts and other bits. I had doors for a built in fridge even though we didn’t have a fridge. Long story short after 3 trips back and forth getting parts and swapping it was finally done. We had taken all the wrong items back as well. We was then hit with a bill for the items we picked up that was missing or wrong! £1800 after another couple months explaining and just trying to sort it out the bull came down to £1250 different people dealing with it every time I call after I keep getting messaged about the balance I owe. They even tried to say well the kitchen price went up that’s why I owe more money lol tried to trick me. Anyway last call I had was 3 weeks ago and they said they was going to fix it not to worry. Then today I had a letter from head office about the 1250 I am ment to owe! And taking legal action against me. This is just ridiculous I payed for a kitchen in full so I expect the kitchen to arrive that I payed for not to try and make me pay more when it’s not my fault. Will never use Howdens again after this my kitchen fitter said they are always doing this kind of stuff. So annoyed. And I won’t be paying it. I would be a mug to pay more for there mistakes doesn’t make sense.

Only positive was the lady who designed the kitchen was great and did a very good job. Other than that it’s been a nightmare
