I purchased a bag more than 2 weeks ago, i could not find a tracking number for it. I emailed them, no reply.. I waited and waited but I never received the parcel. I emailed other 3 times to ask for a refund, no answer was given. I basically lost my money.

Bought the dinasaur lamp for my grandson and it was delivered very quickly but unfortunately it was clearly damaged in transit. I received an equally quick response by email (which was very nicely worded and reassuring) and a new lamp was sent in the post that day. I honestly don’t think you can better that.

I have bought several Moomin products from House of Disaster over the last few years and in the main, am very pleased with them. The staff seem friendly and the products are always sent out in good time and packaged well for protection. My latest purchase was the Moomin Love Jar which I have had my eye on for a while and decided to take the plunge and treat myself. It's lovely. Quite big (but not as big as a biscuit jar as one reviewer wrote - that's just silly). It's a lovely, substantial jar and I am looking forward to using it. I've given it 4* rather than 5* as the lid (with cute Moomins sitting on top) appears not to sit quite right on the top of the jar, but I shall look into that further when I get it out of the box properly. But it is a lovely jar and if you are a Moomin fan as I am, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. I recommend this product and House of Disaster and look forward to buying more Moomin products from them again soon.

Purchased a couple of the character hot water bottles as gifts, both recipients adored them. Arrived in under a week and came well packed. Quality of products appears exceptional, very happy

Wanted to write a review as there are a few negative reviews on here and I don’t think they deserve them at all! Items arrived within 5 days of ordering, and they are lovely. I bought a wee vegan leather handbag which looks and feels lovely quality and a ceramic butter dish which is beautifully painted and came packaged in a lovely gift box which was an u expected surprise. Can’t fault my experience with this company and I would use them again for cute and quirky gifts.

Beautiful items. I bought Moomin gloves which are soft and comfortable and a double walled Moomin cup. The cup is life changing.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I’ve had a really positive experience with House of Disaster so wanted to share.

Delivery was within their stipulated 5-7 days, even at this busy time of year. I called and emailed regarding a slight delay in initial dispatch. The phone number on their Facebook was answered within a few minutes and help provided quickly. They also responded to my email the day after I’d sent it with further support so a great experience there too!

Items arrived and were just as pictured and not damaged at all. They are all absolutely lovely gift items!

I see some others here have had a less positive experience so just wanted to put this here to balance that as well. Not everyone will have the same experience of course but I felt it was a really positive and I’m very pleased overall - thank you House of Disaster!

My order was dispatched and arrived very quickly. I ordered gloves, a drawstring bag and vase. All we're exactly as described and good quality. Bought as gifts and very happy to share these at Christmas time.

The items I purchased all had defects; their customer service is awful. They initially told me they would need to see photos to decide if I could return the items - I obliged, sending the photos 3 times! I was promised a refund ‘that day’ and am still waiting and am not getting any response to my emails! Grrrrrr - I would advise NEVER buying from this site

The article I bought had flaws in the glaze and careless paint splatters. The quality was awful. You couldn’t even call it seconds.

I’ve had gifts from their range that were beautiful in the past and I’m disappointed.

Just to update, the House of Disaster have rapidly refunded me. Their customer service is approachable and helpful.

DO NOT BUY!! Got completely wrong order. Phone number on Facebook dose not get answered. And no reply from emails. I will never but from them again and I am stuck with stuff I don’t need. I’m scared to post it back because I feel I’ve been SCAMMED!!!

I ordered the Frida Kahlo cup as a gift for a work colleague.
It arrived in good time but there was a crack in the handle. I emailed to explain, and what their policy was, but I have had no reply.

Love this website! Such unique gifts that I've not seen anywhere else. The customer service is also great, I emailed a couple of times and was responded to very quickly. I'll definitely keep checking the store for future gifts :)

Ordered a £20 cup it arrived really badly painted and with a hole in the white bird on the side that also had a great deal of blue paint on. The company obviously do not check what they send out. Also when I tried to get my account up their website said no such account. I cannot get hold of them by phone and my email to them, the correct email address was returned by the postmaster. I am now going through my visa card for refund. Dont touch this company!!!

I ordered a makeup bag which arrived with both bag and label discolored by whiteish marks that looked like mould or fungus. The other product I ordered - a cupboard handle - was fine. They refunded me for the bag, and the postage for returning it, and sent polite updates. I'd feel OK about ordering from them again.

When you find this gem you will be going back time after time. Searching for different moomins gifts and can not fault this company at all.
Right price and customer service is second to none.
That have made my little princess a very very happy one.
Will definitely use again.

First class customer service. Cannot fault it. My order never arrived but when I contacted the company via email a profuse apology and a substitute order immediately sent. One of the items needed replacing and this was sent by courier next day. I would 100% recommend this company for their customer service alone, however the fact their products are fantastic too is just wonderful. Special shout out to Julia!

Excellent company. Had a problem with an order and it was dealt with really quickly. I would definitely use this website again and would recommend it to others.
Also, their stuff is so nice!!
