Having to resort to a poor (deserved), review, in the hopes that it will finally illicit a response. I haven’t been waiting as long as others, but I placed an order on the 13th of January and haven’t received so much as a peep. Have left comments on Instagram and sent a contact form, and received nothing in return.

I would avoid until this company gets their act together.

Very, very disappointing. Like many others, I placed an order in November. The order which was a Christmas present never arrived and despite many attempts to contact the company via email and Instagram I have had zero response. I have had to claim a refund via PayPal who also confirmed they had zero contact from the seller. I have since seen replies/ comments on social media saying the company was swamped over Christmas but they now have a turnaround time of 1-3 working days. Too little too late and not acceptable to those who never received their order. The radio silence made the customer experience even more awful. Such a shame as I really wanted to support a small, pro-rugby business. Would give zero stars if possible.

The 6 nations fleece are so soft! I ordered 2 in November so that’s the only reason I dropped a star, but being a small business who blew up I understand so I held out hoping to get the fleeces and boy were they worth the wait.

Absolutely love my fleece. Great quality and fantastic design had many great comments from wearing it. Yes there was a wait, but for a small business that’s had issues with shopify that is understandable, especially when people received items (had duplicate orders delivered) did then not do the right thing and send them back. Brad keep going, you are doing brilliantly and I will definitely be buying from you again!

Bought 2 jumpers in the hopes of returning one item once sizing had been checked.
6 weeks waiting on delivery. Both items arrived at separate times. Emailed the seller on 5 separate occasions asking to return the item, received no response. Avoid.

I love my new Six Nation fleece and it is very comfortable and great quality. The sizing is great too, which is hard to find in some places. Only reason for four stars is at times when I contacted about my order status because long delivery time which I never got a response. However, being a small company I can imagine it can be tough trying to fulfill orders after festive period and keeping up with emails. I'm already looking at another fleece from Hook and Flanker. Thanks again for my great fleece 😊

We bought three fleeces for presents and all that received them were extremely happy with their gifts! My son's favourite brand. So lovely and warm pitch side staple. I even bought myself one!

I ordered a six nations fleece for my boyfriend for Christmas which turned up on time, it fits him beautifully and it is suuuper soft! He absolutely LOVES it! Knowing these are made to order I made sure I put my order in with plenty of time, so don’t expect next day delivery - they’re made with love and care so they obviously take time! Will absolutely be buying from Hook & Flanker again in the future. Thank you so much!!

I wrote a review befor Christmas in which I outlined my disappointment with this company. Some of my points still stand, such as no communication and payment issues, however once I did finally get in touch with someone they were more than helpful. They spoke to me, listened to my issues and were very apologetic even going so far to allow me to keep a jumper with a refund. Though they still have there issues after speaking to them I still fully support them my jumper did eventually arrive and it is great. All in all they have a ways to go but I feel they just stumbled at Christmas time but they are picking themselves up to get straight back into it.

Avoid this company, purchased a Nations Vintage Rugby as a Christmas present on the 8th December plenty of time for Christmas was “dispatched” on the 19th which it wasn’t. Have been sent 9 generic “update” emails over the past 2 months of them catching up with 2024 orders, I filled in the “missing order” form and requested that I still wanted my order. None of my emails have been replied to. Gave them the benefit of the doubt being a small business at a busy time of the year to just have a cancellation email today with no prior communication from hook & flanker. Waited and waited for nothing. Just lied along the way claiming they were making up the orders and will be dispatched last week. Absolutely disgusting customer service! Would rate lower than a 1 start if it was possible! Do not waste your time or money!

I asked for this for my birthday from my children and did not expect to receive it gives the issues that the company has had. I am delighted with it, it is true to size and lovely and cost and my children want to borrow it! I can’t wait until the 6 nations start. All the best with this year.

Easy checkout. Had no issues with delivery. Arrived about 3 days after ordering. Really lovely product, good material and sizing is perfect. Really happy with it.

I was kept completely up to date with the progress of my order which I have now received. Excellent quality and absolutely love the fleeces. Will definitely order again.

Delivery took exactly as long as they said - speedy for MTO item. Fleece was exactly as described, my partner loves it! Communication was great - I was initially concerned after reading previous reviews, but it seems they’ve really upped their game and made effective changes. Will definitely be ordering again!

Placed my order in November and unfortunately do not receive my order until January. Following along on socials I saw updates to say all orders had been completed prior to Christmas yet still no delivery. I reached out on socials, email and via website but did not receive a single response as to where my order was.
Finally a company update email… I understand the difficulties of a small business and unexpected influx in orders during peak seasons. More communication and transparency would have saved a lot of the unnecessary negative reviews.

I ordered the green nations fleece and am so glad I held out the long wait. Really great quality, super thick and warm, drawstring bottom and finish on the stitching and overall fleece is amazing!!!

I really hope that they can continue to be open and transparent around issues as many will support through challenges.

I waited a bit longer than liked for my fleece, but hey they are a small Company that supply a great quality fleece. Yes they might have had a few hiccups through their own success but don’t read the small amount of negative reviews. Hook and flanker have made changes for 2025 taking on extra staff etc I am very pleased with my high quality fleece and would say don’t hesitate to order and support this small business good luck for 2025 Hook & Flanker.

Fantastic product. Small, growing business and if you pay attention to their Instagram you can see Brad and the team are doing their best. I love my fleece and it'll be worth the wait if anyone is still waiting.
