Moved here last year and live close to Homebase. Alway find the staff friendly and helpful. Returned a few items without any fuss. Good job

Good price, but not enough staff on the tills, and click and collect goods were not the ones I ordered.

Damaged and scratched furniture
Went to collection point. Staff very friendly. Collected box of furniture and opened to check before we left store. Very damaged bottom with cracks in front of legs, scrapes, and dents in front of shelves. No other new ones available so we ended up with the display one. This too was scratched, but not cracked so we took it as was needed now. We got it home to realise that we now don’t have the fixing kit. Whilst staff were friendly. It hasn’t made up for the disappointment in taking ex display stock

sold a returned faulty item
I ordered online and thankfully did as there were only 2 lights left of this model.
When I picked the order up (the colleague serving me was great) the box looked as though it had been opened and re-sealed and a bit battered. I bought a load of christmas decorations so didn't stop to check the box. When I got home and the electrition opened the box it was clear that it was a returned item.
Parts of the tubing (wire inside) had been cut and the same tubing was tangled so the light wouldn't have sat right.

bought a 11 fin Homebase Oil Heater and…
bought a 11 fin Homebase Oil Heater and it leaked oil onto my laminate floor overnight on the first time I used it... very disappointed in quality and took ages to clean floor, still has a smear mark on floor, took item straight back to store and given refund. will buy one elsewhere where I can feel I get reliable product that doesn't leak or ruin my flooring !!

Ordered a dehumidifier online
Ordered a dehumidifier online, went to collect the staff had a couldn’t be bothered/don’t want to be here attitude, the staff struggled to find my order and when they did presented the product to me upside down even when there are instructions on the box not to. I like Homebase and there products it’s just a shame it’s 50/50 whether the staff are competent.

Efficient service and good value
Collected item ordered online. Good value. Round white mirror and white picture shelf which I am using as a make up shelf beneath the mirror. Easy to put up.
