Staff really helpful, so straight forward collection

THE best staff! Even though the shop is closing down, the staff were as friendly and helpful as always. I really hope that The Range takes them all on as part of the package - the same staff have been in Homebase for ages, some for 17 years - they deserve to continue.

Had an issue over some Direct to Metal paint, unfortunately after applying as many as 6 coats it didn't live up to it's 'Does exactly what it says on the tin' phrase so needed to return it. Phoenix and Hugh were very helpful and reasonable and authorised then processed the refund, thankyou. Alternative then purchased!

Ordered online to be picked up at store. Kept informed through the process and received texts to arrange for pickup. At store the service was good and the person who brought the item out offered to take it to the car which was courteous and respectful. Overall really good service.

I visited homebase to purchase 2 potted Christmas trees and found Tom in the garden centre extremely helpful. The trees were very heavy for me he offered to take them out to my car, he didn't hesitate to help immediately and get them into my small car, he was careful not to damage the trees or make unnecessary mess in my car, I was so grateful for his help What a pleasant kind caring member of staff a credit to your team.

I had a number of things to get which I had initially considered ordering online and getting delivered. I live alone and the combination of items were heavy. However as I was near the store I went to see what I could pick up myself. Due to the really helpful staff, Margaret, Anna and Ben, I got everything I needed. Help was given to pick up the items and take to my car. Warehouse checked for another item. It was a very pleasant experience.

This is the only place you will go locally and get the help you receive from Carl with regards to paint very helpful knowledgeable on the brand will go out of his way to help
