I was given the wrong item when I went to collect the item I had purchased, I then had to wait 20 minutes until they found the actual item I had ordered but was told that they could not separate the incinerator from the other buns because it was jammed, I was then asked for my name & number and was told to come back at 10am the following day, I came back the next day at 1pm only to find the replacment they had ordered from another store had not arrived & they could not get in contact with the other store whike I was kept waiting again for another 15 minutes at which time a staff member brought out an incinerator from their garden department & said he had been able to separate it from the rest of them but that it had some damage, the staff gave me a discount off the price for the damage. The fact that I had to drive to the store twice & was kept waiting for over a combined total of 30 minutes for an item I was told that was ready to collect the previous day is unacceptable.

1 person covering Click & Collect + Help & Advice. No till points open (as usual) so she was dealing with paying customers as well. Couldn’t find the order (3 mirrors) - took so long that we went and took one from the shop floor instead. By this time she’d found our order - one of the mirrors on it wasn’t the one we’d actually ordered.
This would make me visit another store in future rather than this one. A simple transaction which should have taken 5 minutes took 25 mins. I was in the Cookstown store earlier this week and the experience couldn’t have been more extreme. Plenty of staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help.

We ordered outdoor furniture online, which was in stock at the time of ordering (26 July). As we were away on holiday we advance booked delivery for 19th Aug. We recieved an email 2 weeks after ordering to say that they are refunding the money as it was not in stock but yet was in stock in stores. We then had to try and source delivery from a store while being still on holiday. We were not impressed at all.
We got a lovely and helpfully guy called Will in our local store who helped us out to see what was happening with our second order as it was delayed in going through the main system. So tip is don't order online as they are shocking, they take your order in hope that new stock comes in, if it doesn't they just cancel the order ,instead of looking at local stores for stock to fulfil the order . Go into the store and order it from the helpful staff.

Gr8 experience mainly due to Will's helpfulness & expertise. Couldn't do enough & also got me to buy more than was intending (tho' items were also needed!)

Very helpful staff, brought the heavy shelving unit to the car and helped us load. Much appreciated

Picked up our purchase no hassle was brought from the store within minutes but very unfriendly , unenthusiastic staff almost like we were a nuisance

My partner Andy and myself were up in Homebase today at Forestside branch. We were looking for a patio set, a member of staff named Alain came over and was more than helpful and showed us around the selections which was on show. We were very happy with one of the sets and purchased it.
I just want to say a big thank you to Alain, who couldn't have been more helpful in having us decide on which one to purchase. He showed us respect and patience in helping us decide. Extremely happy with the customer service that we received today in your store. Thank you Alain keep up the good work! 👍

Alain served us in store today. He was just amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much and he went above and beyond speaking with management and helping to arrange our purchase. He was so kind and knowledgeable and also great with our children. He was so warm and honestly made our day. We are so grateful he helped us today.

I worked with Klara on the design of my kitchen and she was fantastic in helping me maximise the use of the space.

As with any project there were a few glitches, but Klara provided excellent customer service in helping me to get these resolved.

I would highly recommend Klara to any one looking to design a new kitchen.

In an age where Customer Service is generally dreadful, I have been SO impressed by the exceptional Customer Service shown to me by Will, the Assistant Manager of the Galwally Branch. His produce knowledge, courtesy, professionalism and general demeanour are impeccable and he is a credit to Homebase and should be the benchmark to which all of your Employees should aspire. Sincere thanks to him.

I rang the store to explain that I would be late collecting the paint I had paid for & that I could collect it by 23rd .. The young man was so helpful and put a note on it to say that I would be late… He was polite and courteous & very helpful… thanks will definitely be back again soon

A lovely girl called Michelle at customer services. attended to me, she was thoughtful helpful amd so pleasant, great ambassador for her employer, not very often your treated and valued as a customer, high level of service. Will definitely be back to galwally.

The ordering and collection went well. However the lady at collection was dreadful. She must of had a bad night as her whole persona was awful. If she didn't want to be there leave. Hope I don't get here again.UPDATE Pleased to say that the manager from homebase contacted me regarding this issue and I am happy with his response.

Initial man on Customer Services was lovely. He called for Will to help me. Will was so friendly and efficient. Great asset to the store.
