Homebase - Edinburgh Anmeldelser 

Went to homebase to look at a worksurface I couldn't see in person anywhere else locally. Got chatting with staff and had a design consultation with Stephanie. She had some great ideas and helped with choice of units and finishes but there was never a hard sell which I really appreciated. There have been a few minor problems which have been dealt with very efficiently and I am absolutely delighted with my new kitchen. Thank you

Ordered my kitchen from Homebase Craigleith store.
Was very impressed with Amanda’s knowledge and experience not to mention patience as I changed my mind a few times. Spent a lot of time making sure I got what I wanted. Everything was delivered on time with updates from the delivery guys. The installer recommended by Amanda was also first class and did a fantastic job. Found Homebase to be very competitive too.

This bird bath was filthy when I picked it up. Covered in dust and other pieces of dirt. Terrible way to sell goods.

Your shop assistant was extremely helpful and a great asset to your company. I had to pick up a very heavy container of mortar and he offered to hold onto it while I finished my home base shopping .

Nicola was very helpful during my visit. She really made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. It's staff like that who do your store proud, and make me keep coming back.

Amanda at the Edinburgh Craigleith Homebase store provided us with excellent service. She made the process of designing the kitchen layout and ordering everything we needed as stress frees and easy as possible. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we decided to change all the appliances we had ordered. The re-order was not a problem.
I hope that Homebase realise what an asset they have in Amanda.
All parts of the order; units, worktops and appliances were delivered on the allotted date in plenty of time for the installation.

Nicola served me and was delightful. Cheery, knowledgeable and so helpful. I will look out for her again when I am in the store.

A very swift trip to get gardening essentials. Catlin informed me that there was a 2 for £4 deal on gloves as I had only bought one pair.

Homebase had the items I was looking for. In Edinburgh it's difficult to find DIY things, so it's great to have a branch still in town without having to travel to out of town. I was served by Nazia who was her usual happy, charming and helpful self.

Caitlin was very helpful on the till, my purchase came up at the wrong price and she was asked her supervisor to help, she was professional all the way through.

I am delighted to say that the handles I’ve been long looking for are supplied by you. I’ve never ordered anything from you before but it was a pleasure doing business with you.
The items were sent promptly and all I need is a joiner to attach them to my doors!

The staff went over and above to be helpful. We wanted an out of stock item, wasn’t available for delivery for 4 months! The staff found out one was in transit and took our name and number and phoned us the next day as soon as it arrived and kept it aside for us! Over and above customer service and incredibly friendly! Thanks to the Craigleith store!

Excellent service by Nicola in the garden centre last weekend. I wasn’t sure where to find the best plants for my shaded garden but she took the time to show me round all the plants that suited. Thanks again, I’m sure my garden will soon look wonderful!

Tomato feed to nourish my pots during the growing season and 15% off a great help.

The seller sold us the wrong product after 10 minutes of conversation. We used the product and saw that it did not work as it appeared in the videos. When we wanted to return it we were greeted very harshly. In fact, if they look at the camera footage, they can easily see that a staff member sold the product to us. but instead they said you bought it yourself. They argued that no employee would make such a mistake. Actually, it's simple. All they need to do is check the camera recordings on the date and time on the sales receipt. Maybe the cameras are not recording, I don't know. I chose this place every time because it was close to my house. But I won't recommend it to anyone and I won't go again. I won't shop anywhere else other than Amazon, which has better return policies.

Two weeks have passed and the store employees are still lying. I think everyone is trying to save themselves. Even though I only bought the machine from there, they still claim that I also bought the paint from there. I even have a receipt. but they continue to lie.

The young man who brought the order to us and helped me out to the car park was excellent. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name. It was on sunday 28 April at about 1pm. Please thank him for me.
