Homebase - Bury St. Edmunds Anmeldelser 

Ordered 2 shelves on line, was informed I could collect within an hour that day. Drove 25 miles to The Range in Bury St Edmund’s only to be told that they had not received the shelves from their on site warehouse. I did not receive any communication from Homebase until I complained and got a standard response - “sorry the items you purchased are not in stock - you will receive a full refund but we are not offering any compensation”.
Thank you very much - 2 hours of my life wasted along with a 50 mile round trip. Not even the offer of a voucher as an apology - nothing short of disgraceful. I certainly will never shop at Homebase or Wilko again - will just use Amazon.
And 14 days later I have still NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK. No response whatsoever. Looks like it will be a charge back through my credit card.
AVOID HOMEBASE THEY WILL GO BACK INTO LIQUIDATION - I feel sorry for their staff on the shop floor as they will be the ones suffering when they don’t have a job. Well done Homebase 👏

Great service from Jade today at Homebase, Bury St Edmunds.

Went into Homebase Bury St Edmunds to buy a small sofa for kitchen/diner. Girl on the cash desk was really helpful; she suggested we go online, use the discount code FURN30 to get 30% off, pay online and request ‘Click n Collect’ from them - we would get it at a discounted price and we could collect it there and then. Another member of staff then brought it out to the car for us on a pump trolley and helped us load it. Sofa is perfect! Couldn’t have asked for better service. We are very pleased. Thank you!

Another good visit to Homebase Bury St Edmunds. Well laid out, helpful and knowledgeable staff and a friendly atmosphere all round. Jade at the payment points was professional and has a great attitude.

Collected order only to find item incomplete after a 26ml drive

Nick has helped me yet again sort out some items that were out of stock and also added some other items to my bathroom order. The process was very quick and easy. He sorted the reund before I'd even got in to the store so the process went smoothly. He came up with some good suggestions to resolve other issues that I had with the bathroom

I am still waiting for a refund for non delivery of my order! A package arrived on the day stated but had a different name and address on ....I phoned Homebase to let them know this...however it's now 5 days since the issue and still not heard from them

Visited for a kitchen design and price. Nick was really helpful in everything we wanted and made it work. Had a good sense of humour and nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend Nick to sort your needs

Jade on the till was bubbly and was very pleasant and very good.

An asset to Homebase

I couldn't afford the colour of paint from an expensive make so I went to mixing desk. A lovely lady JADE came over and offered to make me a sample pot which I didn't realise was possible for mixing paints. She was very friendly and shared her opinion about the colour. We had a nice chat. I will probably go with this made up colour but will need a contrasting colour for other walls and will find Jade to help me decide what to go with.

Nicholas Riches the Homebase staff member provided an efficient, polite and knowledgeable service when we bought our shower unit.

A lovely helpful lady called Jade made our shopping experience so much better

they can remember to book item in when it gets to store, it was not booked in for another 2 days

Jade served us with a smile and generally a nice young person. It's nice to be greeted with a smile. Homebase though, should stop being tight and employ more people. You shouldn't rely on checkout staff to do it all.
