hmv (UK) - Fopp Manchester Anmeldelser 

I phoned to ask if I could get a vinyl signed on my behalf that i pre-ordered as the trains were cancelled to get to the event on time, however I spent over 2 hours on hold and still didn't get through to anyone.

I just like how quick you send out my order. You also have a good selection of CD to choose from. The website is very easy to get around.

The young lady who served me (SHELL) was extremely helpful,she went the extra mile to help me find what I was looking for.Can not praise her enough.

Good service ordered in shop exactly what I wanted

No effort made to find what I was looking for unless it was on the shop floor.

I had to go to another store who1. checked the shop floor
2.When they did not have what I wanted they took the time to check on the system.
3. When they found what I was looking for they ordered it.
4. It was a complete waist of time traveling to Manchester Arndale Centre to leave with nothing.

I am 100% happy with the service received from FOPP Brown Street Manchester who took the time to find what I wanted and process my order.

Whether pre-order, click and collect, or just regular stock, you get a prompt email response and then can visit the store where you will find excellent staff who are always helpful, polite and service with a smile.

I’ve bought from HMV before

You cancelled Nines’ CD signing and because of that I didn’t get to see him.

We really enjoyed our visit to the store and they were more than helpful to make our visit worthwhile. We visit the store whenever we get the chance. We are always impressed by their knowledge of music, sometimes we are trying to find an obscure record but they usually turn up trumps. Whenever they haven't got something in stock, they arrange the postage.

Fopp Manchester is always a great browsing experience and the staff always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't normally order a physical product in-shop and wait for it - I'd just go online, but the Fopp team encourages loyalty and repeat visits and purchases and I only discovered the band whose Deluxe CD I was buying (Orange Goblin if you are curious) when I heard them being played in the shop by the staff a few years back - great introduction! Ordered a title for collection. Arrived at the shop very quickly, staff were friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable shopping experience and reassuring I was getting a good product.

The usual level of super-friendly and efficient service from Fopp in Manchester. Easy uncomplicated ordering in which the blu ray reached me in next to no time. First class and 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was after a rare Batman vs Superman Blu-ray digibook. After trying to order online with no success via HMV website for a click and collect to save on postage, I had to drive into Manchester to my go to store, FoPP Manchester, where the staff are great and ALWAYS give great service, and I mean always, there hasn’t been a single day where I have experienced an off day from anyone of their staff, and I have been going in there for over 3 years. They are always inviting and engaging when you ask them for help, or just make general chit chat. On this occasion, I spoke to Emma who helped me order the item into store, after I explained to her the trouble I was having ordering online at home. It wasn’t any trouble for her, as she was more than happy and willing to help me. The service that this store gives, especially in this day and age, where everyone is going at a million mph, has to be commended and recognised. The staff and store are a credit to your company.

The item arrived instore a few days later and I received my collection email. I went into the store and Emma greeted me as I entered, and before I could even ask she was picking up my package and handing it over to me for me to check. Brilliant service from start to finish. Thank you FoPP Manchester for always making me feel welcome whether I buy or not.

The last thing I will add, and am sure other customers probably feel the same as I do. I am aware that HMV are modernising and opening new stores, FoPP stores are more niche and personable in my view and need to be supported by customers by buying instore, but they also need to be supported by the owner of the company. By that I mean that HMV need to desperately look at giving Manchester a much needed makeover. As much as we love the store, please give it new fixtures, fittings, lighting and a lick of paint, bring it in to the 21st Century but give the FoPP stores their own identity and look, by not making them look like HMV stores.

Came to see Barry can’t swim at Fopp, it was extremely disappointing to see gear not working so Joshua couldn’t perform like he did at other events. Really poor prep from the shop
