My DVD purchase could not have been…
My DVD purchase could not have been better, but on collection at the Brighton store, I wanted to browse the World Cinema DVD section only to discover it has been discontinued. All the DVDs are lumped together so I didn't bother to browse them all. A retrograde step imo.

Thanks so much for leaving us a 5 star review. Whilst we're happy to hear that you had a positive experience in store, we're sorry to hear of your disappointment regarding the World Cinema DVD section being discontinued.
Whilst we do like to refresh the look of our stores and show off all of the new products that we have available for our customers to own, we’d never intend this to cause confusion or limit the finding of our items, in this case world cinema dvds, so we’re disappointed to hear this may have been the case on this occasion.
All of the sections within our stores should have clear signage so that our customers know which items are where but thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention, which we’ll review. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to ask for help from one of our colleagues in the store and they’ll be happy to take a look for you.

HMV Brighton is great
HMV Brighton has friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, a good selection of art house and alternative films. Buy in-store and get that human experience rather than just on websites of companies that have no high-street presence!

Stores always look tidy and clean with a good range of products.Also I pre-ordered the 4k edition of Aliens (my all time fave movie) and it arrived 2 days early 🥰. In addition, frank in your brighton store always gives great service and engages in conversation.
