served at sheffield firthpark store today by Kash!!. Rude attitude from staff member when i asked for a receipt . Wasn’t even offered a bag but previous customer who he was friendly with was , not one word spoken to me not even asked cash or card? Horrid attitude and had the cheek to attempt to argue back and forth with me but of course i don’t back down! Will be making a complaint to HR as i know store manager will do bare minimum as i’ve worked there before!! If you don’t like serving certain customers you’re in the wrong job mate!!

Awful company with no customer service team at head office .sold me an item that made me sick .no responsibility on their part . No response from customer services. Vile . Wouldn’t recommend. It’s cheap but disgusting. Not the former time either

Bridlington shop. Unimpressed. Had bought a few items. I asked for a receipt. I was told I couldn't have one as their till is missing a cable. Apparently the manager had gone home.
How do I know if they've charged me the correct amount.
Staff weren't particularly friendly either.

Went into Heron food Bank Hey Street Blackpool, Sam on the till was awful, story is we found an Heron bag in one of the baskets it had a broken handle (probs disregarded by a customer) when we tried to use it on till he said to us ,You've technically stolen this and started arguing with us.. Over 45p. He was on repeat 45p please 45p please 45p please..when we said no it was broken he laughed and called us thief's, so we gave the bag back where he snatched it off us,as we called for the manager he continued to argue with us, the manager told Sam to drop it and Sam ignored his Manager and carried on..NO respect for Herons Customers and NO respect for his Manager...Disgraceful, Yes a full complaint has gone into H.O ,Being in Retail Management myself I know how Staff should carry themselves, and Sam you are one nasty customer service Advisor and you shouldn't work with the Public with an Narcissistic attitude ..

Hornsea store. Been in many times as a visitor but lady on checkout today needs retraining in customer care.
Surly didn't wait for me to remove items before starting someone else.
I had to ask for a bag usually get asked if I need one in other branches Beverley and Withernsea always pleasant , helpful and courteous.

The Store Management and Colleagues are usually polite, pleasant and helpful when I shop in my local Heron Foods. HOWEVER, the Company's Signage declaring that the products they sell are "Top Quality, Lowest Prices" is not true now, as theirs are NOT by any means the cheapest, when comparing like-for-like products with Leading Retailers. I did speak to their Customer Services some time ago about their misleading signage, but feel I was not taken seriously, as nothing has ever been done to change it. Heron's products they sell are usually good quality, yes, but certainly not the lowest prices anymore!

The store on Salford Precinct is the reason we visit the area. Despite dwindling businesses on the precinct itself, Heron Foods keeps the flag flying high. I've never seen any staff anyplace EVER work as hard as these people. Clean, inexpensive, tidy, well-stocked shop. The staff are constantly stacking, sorting, smiling and representing. It's a genuine pleasure to shop here. The staff are professional, hard working yet friendly. In a poor area, this store shines with enthusiasm and bargains. Excellent service. Great shopping experience and fantastic value. Well done 👍

Parked in car park. Parked in clearly marked bay which said 40 minutes free parking. There for 7 minutes.... £100 fine.
Legally there is supposed to be 10 minutes exemption even if illegally parked! And the camera caught me going into and out of the car park so they actually have no idea where I parmed
Followed the information and still got a parking charge. Absolute cowboys

i visited your riddings store today and puchased several items the guy on the till was very pleasent and scanned my items and asked me would i like my receipt which i said yes please ,, i checked my receipt and my persil wash tablets scanned at £3.00 but im sure the yellow shelf label said £2.50 when i went back to check the price it did state the price was £2.50 but when i spoke to a young man on the aisle he sed that they was £3.00 not £2.50 and thats the price i would have to pay as that label was an old label that someone hadnt removed but excuse me as a consumer is that my problem no its not ,, the price described the item so its not as if the wash tablets was in the wrong place he said it wasnt herons policy to honour the price ,,, but when i got to the till i explained to a very nice young girl on the till what had happened and she said that the young lad had got it wrong she then sorted me out and gave me my 50 pence difference back its not about the 50p its about the young lads attitude and couldnt be bothered to resolve the matter i just wonder how many more people this has happened to especially if they never check their receipts surely he should have honored the price or removed the item from sale for 24 hours because this is retail procedure not a happy customer at all ..my receipt number is219295

Went to return a full carton of apple juice to the heron foods in thorne because the seal was broken and I was not comfortable drinking it.

Apparently they cannot replace it because I might have been the one to break the seal, drink nothing from it. And return it for fun.

If you shop here, inspect all products cairfully before checkout.

I am lucky to be alive after my visit to heron foods leigh, I was enjoying my saturday afternoon until I entered heron. I went in to do my weekly shop and spotted the most disgusting, vile, out of date loaf of bread I have seen in my life. The product on the shelf was growing fur and looked as if it had become a new organism completely. This will be my final visit to heron, se you never Marlene, the rude manager!

Where do I begin let’s start with management at heron foods firth park Sheffield ie Gail not fit for purpose tells staff off on shop floor tells staff to put out of date meats out on shelves now the staff how lazy some of them are when queues at till get long request new till but staff are too busy talking to each other plus when told to do jobs they would sooner ignore shop is dirty staff certain staff threaten customers heron sort it

Just visited heron, in wellington square. Stockton. Employees show no empathy for the disabled. They rush you through the till and shoe no patients. Shop is disorganised. No offer for an employee to help pack.

This only teaches me to do online shopping.

If I could put zero stars in would
I went in to the store on county road liverpool and with my emotional support dog and was screamed at by 4 members of staff one I couldn't even see where she was shouting from to leave the store and 'wheres your card wheres your card' I tried to explain to them that I dont need a card and I also have an email off there head office to say I am aloud in with my 5kg pomeranian
Any way cut to more shouting and a guy i can only assume is the ass manager said he was going to clear this up with a phone call to head office (he never called they told me when I called mins later) I was told I could make my purchases (which I chose not to)
Basically the staff in that store are horrible to people with mental health problems and definitely need more training

Some curries taste cheap soft drinks are good value and lots of selection plus toiletries. Milk is sometimes on the turn this has happened twice. Even though its in date on the label must be where it is stored. beer is okay too

The company need to invest in new equipment, they stole twice now amount of money by charging me and my wife double on purchases, it is only luck that we checked our account, so your store in Darlington needs better equipment, I have to go back several times to get refund, it's disgraceful. Martin

Fantastic store in Ashton under lyne great staff and such great bargains especially in the XCELL fridges such a wide range of products a great store overall I wouldn't go anywhere else for my frozen foods I can't understand the bad reviews on trust pilot the staff are always helpful and very well stocked I love this store.

Used to get loads of bargains there about 5 years ago: posh fishcakes, veggie food, and pizzas from the ZSell range, but now they just sell nasty tat that is absolute rubbish. Never any one offs, it's the same crap every time you go in - which is less often now.
