Wonderful closed back headphone. Comfort, quality and value. A great package. Will require some burn in time -150 -200 hours. AND it DOES need power to fully reach the potential of the E3. I had the A/C and the dishwasher running and could not hear either. My amp is the Burson Conductor 3X GT. My music comes off the A&K Kann Ultra. Most music is in WAV format. Compared to my open backs the E3 is just a half step behind. But at half the price, unless you are a super detailed seeker, you will be very pleased with this set of cans and the service from Headphones.com

I ordered a pair of the open box Noble Fokus Apollos. They did not arrive on time and I could not track them.
I sent one email to inquire about my order. April, researched the issue and quickly found another pair of open box Fokus and had them shipped expedited.
I have been a customer since 2009 and this was the first time I contacted customer support. April, made me feel very confident that your company will stand by their products and will quickly resolve any customer issues.
BTW- I am really enjoying the Fokus headphones with the dual drivers. The bass is deep and rich, not overpowering. The mids and highs are very detailed and all this results in a nice soundstage. I have not had any issues pairing these with any of my wireless sources. So, I'm very pleased with this purchase and Headphones.com's Customer Support.

Quick and accurate shipment of an in-demand, pre-order item. Properly packed.

The Crinear Reference sounds very good so far - very transparent. I believe that the right and left units were somehow reversed in the package I received. I could not get them to fit until I reversed them. Some more labeling would help, and I hope they are in phase.

My only complaint would be that my credit card was charged for the second installment payment before the item was shipped. Maybe Headphones.com charges the balance once they receive the pre-order item from the manufacturer. This is my second purchase and I am sure there will be a few more.
