Customer Service and Product Quality

I've been a loyal Havaianas customer for years, always choosing their flip-flops for their comfort and style. However, my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. In the past two years, I've had **five pairs** of Havaianas flip-flops snap in the *exact same place*. Out of the three pairs I currently own, **two** have already broken, and I’ve been left frustrated with the poor durability.

What’s more disappointing is the response I received from Havaianas’ customer service. Despite providing photographic proof of the faulty flip-flops, I was dismissed because I didn't have proof of purchase. I’ve always bought my Havaianas from their stalls and paid in cash, so holding onto receipts wasn’t something I thought would be necessary, especially with a brand I’ve trusted for so long. Still, I provided evidence of the repeated defects, but their response offered no real solution or support.

I expected better from a brand like Havaianas. Instead of addressing the quality issue and offering a resolution, my concerns were completely brushed off. It’s disheartening to see a brand I once loved handle their loyal customers this way.

I hope others don’t have to deal with this, but sadly, I can’t recommend Havaianas anymore due to this experience.

Me compro las mismas chanclas Sunny II que llevo comprando toda la vida. Voy a tiro hecho con el número, pero en la web dicen que tallan grande. Me fio, me pido un número pequeño, y me vienen pequeñas. Las quiero devolver y me quieren cobrar la devolución, causada por su web engañosa.Consigo que me las devuelvan gratis. Me pido mi número, si bien la suela es mi número las tiras son de muy mala calidad y no sujetan el pie (el pie baila). No se parecen en nada a los que he comprado toda la vida, es malisimo el plástico y el cambio en el diseño fatal. No las he estrenado, porque se me sale en pie, pero me dicen que al no tener etiqueta no me las pueden cambiar.

Not what I expected, quality wise, awful. I have a pair of havaianas for sooo long, still going , but I wanted a black ones. Have to send them back as size is so off, extremely tiny.
Such a big, well known company to charge 4.90 £ for return, is disgusting!!!

Awful experience no order delivery then they told me they had gone to deliver shop so I ask which one oh they could not say then they told me someone had picked it up. Very bad communication will not be buying from here again. Still waiting for my refund they promised and they said they would send me a voucher for compensation but that hasn't come either.

Ordered these in June still going on.

Evitez ce site a tout prix. Paire recue defectueuse, injoignables, j'ai du faire beaucoup de relances par email et telephone car le formulaire de retour en ligne ne fonctionne pas pour vous decourager... les emails de reponses sont ecrites d'avances et ne font pas de sens car aucun suivi de dossier. Retour payant 5 euros alors que les sandales avaient un defaut (photos envoyes). Ne commandez surtout pas sur ce site.

ich habe festgestellt,daß nicht nur bei Havaianas,sondern auch bei Sport Scheck und Tefal nicht wirklich was klappt in punkto Rückgabe und Rückbuchung.Italienische und spanische Konzernmütter hauchen diesen Betrieben nicht das Deutsche Geschäftsgebahren ein sondern eher ein dolce vita.Größen stimmen nicht mehr und die Materialverarbeitung hat sehr gelitten.Ich werde bei Havaianas nichts mehr bestellen.Sie antworten nicht auf Mails und Wochenlang werden keine Retouren bearbeitet.Ein Stern von fünf Sternen und Daumen runter 🙈👎

I ordered 2 pairs of flip flops on the 26th of June, and they arrived in the correct colors and sizes only 5 days after (I live in Denmark). The quality is great and I am so glad that I didn't listen to all the bad reviews on here.

But with that said, due to the many really bad reviews I don't know whether I would order from them again or not.

Bonjour je ne suis pas contente pour la qualité de cette marque. Deux paires achetées et la lanière du milieu qui se casse à chaque fois . Je ne peux pas faire un été entier .

Ich habe zwei Paar Flip Flops bestellt. Ein Paar hat nicht gepasst, obwohl es die gleiche Größe hatte. Die Rücksendung ist erstmal schwierig. Von den 40 € die ich bezahlt habe, habe ich schlussendlich 28,50 € zurück bekommen. Nie wieder. Mexikanische Steppenbuchhaltung.

We received products we had not ordered. Size, model, color, number of products ... all was wrong. After having to put time into writing to them, then sending photos of the products and the package, the response from the company was to give back the money. So instead of quickly sending the right products, they have me lose even more time, having to enter their webshop, find the products, place the order and wait to hopefully receive the products I have ordered for the second time. Not a good way to solve a mistake on their behalf.

Echt Schade, dass man für den Rückversand 5,50€ bezahlen muss. Flip Flips fallen viel zu klein aus, daher Rückversand.
Zusätzlich dauert es wirklich lange(3h) bis man das Rücksendeetikett erstmal erhält.
Da bestell ich mir wirklich lieber Flip Flops wo anders.

I am pulling my hair out with frustration.
The sent me a faulty pair, it took many many emails and at least 8 photographs before they agreed to allow me to return them at no cost to myself. I wanted a replacement pair which I ordered separately and paid for, I have today been informed that they have repaid my postage. So again I am having to fight them for the refund I am due. They are hopeless! No pair of flip flops are worth this much hassle.

What a shambles company. Trying to return an item is impossible. 3 emails stating they will send postage labels, never received any . No one ever answers the phone . Looks like I'm stuck with them . Probably a scam company. BEWARE

Postal packaging not acceptable. Received sandals in brown bag no inner packaging. Overcharged me for a return. Will not use their website again

So wish I'd read these reviews before ordering, mules turned up ridiculously too small (even tho I'd sized up) and quality is rubbish.

To top it all I've now got to spend another £4.90 to return them (and by the sounds of it from other reviews be lucky to even get my money back)

Ich habe zwei Paar bestellt in eine Größe. Ein paar passt super. Das andere Paar ist ca. 1cm kleiner und past somit gar nicht. Der Kundenservice sagt, dass es normal ist, das gleich Größen so abweichen können. Sehr schlechter Service und Qualität. War bis jetzt ein sehr großer Fan von ihren Schuhen. Werde mich allerdings von der mangelhaften Qualität der Produkte und des Kundenservices abwenden und auch nicht weiter empfehlen.
Tut euch das nicht an.

I purchased 2 pairs via official website UK DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS FIRM the flip flops are too large i have tried to return them no paperwork in package QR code on package does NOT work website doesNOT work I have made 6 calls to customer services no call handler seems to be able to resolve the issue they promise to call me back and they don’t I am referring the matter to UK trading standards GB06282042-005281667 this is my order no I wonder if this review will prompt someone to contact me !

Poor customer service with slow response times and reluctance to address faulty products. Returns are expensive, even for defective items. Surprisingly, my £1.00 Primark flip flops offer better quality. I'm disappointed because this brand used to be quality, and I didn't mind paying premium prices for their products. I advise avoiding them as they're not worth the money or hassle anymore.

Perfetto! Gentilissimi! Velocissimi! L'ordine è arrivato quasi subito, un giorno dopo l'acquisto. La taglia e il colore sono uguali a quello che ho scelto. Non capisco perché ci sono tutti questi recensioni negativi!
