I had vaser lipo back on December 6th, 2024. And I am truly speechless to say the least. Dr Comins is more than an EXCEPTIONAL surgeon. He’s a comforting, reassuring specialist in his field. I am quite an anxious person and had never had any sort of surgery before in my life, I was quickly settled by first meeting the lovely receptionist, who had an incredible amount of patience for all the questions I bombarded her with. Not only that, but the nurse and other medical assistant were phenomenal all throughout my surgery. Although with such attention to detail and professionalism that was shown all throughout the surgery process, I still managed to have a great conversation and a good laugh while on the operating table. Which for me, helped me with the surgical side of things and managed to keep my mind off of it.

Now onto the results, I am mind blown! All throughout my life, I’ve had very deep back rolls/bra rolls (hereditary in my family) that I’ve always been insecure about. And it hasn’t been until recently I’ve come towards the end of my healing stage where for the first time in my life I am comfortable wearing tighter tops without a big jacket on covering my back. Not only that, but the amount of relief I have now wearing bras where it’s not sitting uncomfortably under my back rolls is amazing. I had over 17 consultations with 17 different surgeons all throughout the UK and some abroad back home in Los Angeles, but once meeting Dr Comins and the lovely team, I knew I had to go to him for my surgery. To begin with, I wasn’t sure of how my results would turn out, I truly didn’t think the rolls would still be very deep with how much fat was there, but now, they have minimised by so much, you can hardly see any at all. My confidence has sky rocketed, and I feel like myself. All thanks to Dr Comins and the team. If you’re wondering whether or not to go this establishment for your treatment, no need to ponder anymore on it. This is the place to go! Have found my forever surgeon for any other procedures I want!

There is not one person at this practise who isn’t amazing.
First of all Dr. Comins is unbelievably talented and I have never seen results from any surgeon like I have from his work. He is honest and upfront which everyone needs when making a decision as big as surgery, and I was treated with so much kindness.
Sofia is amazing and is so easy to talk to, she is a delight to be around and made my visits so fun and comfortable by her presence alone. The surgical team I had during op were all so great and the ODP really took his time to ensure my nerves were gone beforehand and replaced with nothing but excitement. Every person here is so knowledgable at what they do and work together to make it a fantastic practise, and I would recommend ANYONE if you are having insecurities with your body please take a visit to Hans place and look at the before and after of Mike’s work as it speaks for itself. I wish I had done it sooner as even 9 days post op I look a million times better and already am so much more confident. Money comes and goes but being confident in your own body is priceless, and Mike has given that to me after having a baby and experiencing body changes due to this. I can’t thank everyone here enough for making the whole process for me so enjoyable and straight forward! It has been life changing for me and I would definitely do it allover again, and will definitely encourage everyone I know to come here if they ever are considering surgery as you really are in safe hands.

Dr Comins and his team are amazing! I did a lot of research into the procedure/clinics/Drs. When I met Dr Comins it was an easy decision to go with Hans Place Practice. Dr Comins is so knowledgeable, friendly and honest when it comes to the procedure, results and expectations. His team have been so helpful and very patient with my millions of questions, they have made the experience so easy and straightforward! I am so glad I chose Hans Place Practice and specifically Dr Comins!!

Dr Comins is just wonderful. Everything was explained in detail and he is always on hand to discuss any questions or concerns. I've had wonderful results from the sculpt laser lipo and wouldn't hesitate to have more areas done. It's one of the best things I have decieded to do and I would highly recommend.

I have had a great customer experience with the team at the Hans Place Practise. From the minute I walked in to the practise i was put at ease by the desk staff Sonia and Shazia. I then had a consultation with Dr Comins who explained exactly what the procedure entailed. I have had previous consultations with other surgeons however Dr Comins made me feel more comfortable and I decided to have a procedure carried out by him. I finally came across Dr Mike after a fair few consultations from ‘top rated surgeons’. Dr Mike was the only one who took the time during my initial consultation to go through my areas of concern without making me feel rushed or intimidated. I knew from here he was the one I’d choose and trust for my surgery .

I am midway through my surgery plan and can honestly say that Dr Mike is the best. He is caring, knowledgeable and extremely talented.

For me, the difference between a good surgeon and a great surgeon is that they know there is no greater advertisement or boost in reputation than their work and results! The most reassuring thing he said to me was “I want you to leave here happy”. When you hear that, you know you are in good hands and working with a great surgeon.

Surgery is a big decision - physically, mentally and financially! I live 3 hours away from Hans Place Practice but so far everything has been worth the commitment.

The whole team from reception to theatre are so lovely, a special shout out to Shazia for the warmest welcome ever received.

I’m still healing - two surgeries down, one more to go, but very much looking forward to the results and a body confidence that I’ve never had :)

Dr Comins was so professional and took such great care of me physically and emotionally and his advice was first clase. The practice is incredible, and would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Mike Comins performed Vaser surgery on me last year and I’m absolutely thrilled with my results. I highly recommend him! As someone who works out 5 days a week, I found it impossible to shed the last few kgs of stubborn fat around my abs and flanks without getting down to a dangerously low body weight.

During our initial consultation, Dr. Comins asked me what my issues were and then examined me. He agreed that Vaser would be very beneficial to fix my problem areas. During my consultation and aftercare, I always found Dr. Comins to be professional and yet friendly and approachable, too. Above all else, he wants his patients to be happy with their results and will go above and beyond to make that happen.

His front desk staff (Sofia and Shazia) are also fantastic! They are so welcoming and easy to get along with. Every time I visited the clinic for my post surgery consults, it felt like I was seeing old friends! The nurses Caitlin and Jonathan were also wonderful. The sense of family at the office is really nice to see at Hans Place Practice.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Comins and his wonderful staff to any one who wants amazing Vaser results and exceptional customer service.

Ok, so here is my full and honest review after visiting Dr Mike Comins and his team for Vaser Lipo on my stomach in April 2023.
I already booked a tummy tuck with another super famous practice and my friend recommended me to visit doctor Mike for Botox as she told me " He knows how to make a women feels good". and she was right! Prior to go for my Botox I did my little research on him and the practise and discovered that Vaser Lipo was his expertise. He does this all day, everyday since many many years so after checking multiple government website and bearing in mind his expertise I went to his practise for my botox and asked him about the vaser Lipo for me. Doctor Mike made me feel very confortable and what I liked is that he is focus on natural results so I booked myself in and cancel the other practice.
The day of the surgery I was a bit nervous but his team is just amazing because when you feel vulnerable before to go down for the surgery he has a full team of professional to look after you.
From the ladies at the reception Shazia and Sophia always make sure you have everything you need before and post op and they always follow up on you to ensure you feel good and have everything we need. Then Jonathan is doing a full health check and he is so gentle and friendly, he makes you feel relax. Going down then for the op, doctor Mike is always very focus but always have one look at you to tell you that everything will be ok. Then Vaser Lipo happened and god I am so happy!!! First, yes it does hurt a little but it feels more like you had a 7h gym session. you feel sore but it doesn't last long and more importantly, please follow the advise of the clinic and book yourself the MLD massage to help your recovery. One thing I would never do again is be alone when you remove your drain and your garnement the first time!! Miriam who has magical fingers and practice only post op MLD is the best and she comes to your house so post op you can relax and stay at home the first days ( highly recommended for 2 to 3 days).

Now we are January 2024 and I just had my legs and arms done a week ago and I am so happy !
The feedback is the same as above as the team really hold your hands throughout the entire journey so I felt like going back to my friends who are looking after me and make me more beautiful ;-) The pain is not as bad as the tummy, you will feel sore but you can move and walk without trouble.

The only thing I would recommend anybody going for Vaser Lipo :
1- If you are like me bring a warm plaid or large pashmina as after waking up I am always very cold.
2- You must book your MLD massage, number of session will depend but you can trust Miriam , she is honestly the best!
3- Book Miriam for the first time you remove the garnement, she will help an look after you as I always faint myself but its normal, she also remove all my plaster stay with me when I shower the first time, and help me dress. after you can manage by yourself its only the first time.
4- If you are feeling bad about yourself or complexed, visit Doctor Mike and fully trust him! Since I went, I feel happy and confident. I wear clothe I havent wear for years! Now when I open my wardrobe I can dress the way I want with everything I have and feel so good! I f only I knew I would have done it ages ago.

Now I can't wait to see the final results for my legs and arms! then my chin and I a done ;-)

I have had a number of procedures with Dr Comins over the last 18 months. The service that he as his team provide is second to none. Firstly Dr Comins is a master at his craft and he has a wonderful manner in dealing with his clients. This manner is also reflected by his staff. The aftercare is also fantastic and I do believe this is crucial with any procedure. Sofia and Shazia in the office have been superb to deal with and are always very lovely, friendly, helpful and always make time. Jonathan was great in looking after me before and after the procedures. Going to Hans Place and the procedures they did has done wonders for my confidence. I cannot recommend Dr Comins and his team enough. I am so pleased with the results.

It was probably the summer of 2022 when I decided to start exploring options for vaser liposuction to target some stubborn areas of fat that no amount of diet and exercise could shift. After extensive research on the internet, I booked a consultation with Dr Comins at Hans Place Practice.

The service from the initial booking of the consultation right up to present day has been first class. Both Shazia and Sophia assisted with enquiries and booking appointments. Doing so in a highly efficient way with a very personal and professional touch. Their customer service has been exceptional.

At my consultation, Dr Comins was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. He was thorough in his examination and very honest about what could provide the best outcome for me, whilst explaining all of the options available. There was no hard sell, he just simply said what could be achieved and advised me to have a think about what we had discussed, and to get in touch after receiving my quote if I wanted to book in.

I went home and did some more research on Dr Comins online, where I found lots of postive reviews and some historic information about his introduction of the technique. It gave me confidence that he had experience and skills to deliver what we had discussed. His credibility and competence was resounding. I decided to go ahead and get booked in.

I opted for mid-def upper and lower abs, flanks, waist and lower back. I chose sedation on Dr Comins’ recommendation given the number of areas to be targeted. The deposit was paid and confirmation documents followed soon after. I even received phone calls from the clinic to check that I’d received everything and had any questions. All really smooth processes with great communication from the clinic.

On the day of the procedure I was welcomed by one of the clinical team who went through all the checks necessary. I was a little bit anxious but they did everything they could to reassure me that everything would be fine. Dr Comins came and made sure I was ok, and told me everything was ready before I was escorted to the theatre. Despite there being a few people in there, it felt very calm. Lots of reassurance was given and I felt relaxed and in safe hands before I was sedated.

I woke up wrapped in my compression garments and guided into a dressing gown before heading to the recovery room. Food and drink was made available if I wanted it and I was left to recover whilst my chaperone came to collect me. Whilst waiting I had regular check ins from the clinical team. I was genuinely surprised at how OK I felt. I was able to get myself dressed and wait patiently to be picked up.

The results were visible as soon as I removed my dressings. Whilst there was still an amount of swelling, what I could see was all of the stubborn area of fat had gone. I was really pleased and looked forward to the improvements developing over time. The aftercare instructions were easy to follow, which meant the healing process went without issues. MLD assisted my recovery and I was very happy with the results.

At my 6 month check up Dr Comins asked me if I was happy with the results. I said that I was, but after he examined me he said that he thought that he could take some more off the upper abs to improve the result. He said he could do it under a local anaesthetic and the revision would be free. I booked back in for the follow up as easily as I had done the initial procedure.

The day came and again, great customer service. It wasn’t my first rodeo, so the initial screening was swift and before I knew, Dr Comins was checking in before the procedure. He was very perceptive and noticed I was a bit anxious. More so this time becuase I was going to be conscious. He reassured me that I wouldn’t feel a thing, but also offered me something to help make me less anxious if that would help. Another clear demonstration of his experience and competence. As I lay on the table getting prepared, Dr Comins asked me if I’d like some more definition on my abs. I said yes please, and away he went! I was in the front door and on my way home in less than an hour, and I didn’t feel a thing.

I’ve had a good recovery again. No lumps, no bumps or complications. My follow up appointments have been great. Everyone is always efficient, polite and professional. The result is awesome! I’m 10 weeks post-op and I’ve got crazy definition on my upper and lower abs, and obliques. My waist has gone from 32” to 29”. I have a more toned and athletic look, which is what I was aiming for. I’m just about to start training properly after giving myself the time to recover properly, and I’m excited to see what the result looks like at 6 months.

I can’t recommend or praise Dr Comins, his clinic and his staff highly enough. I’ve already recommended him to friends and family who are considering similar procedures. You’ll be in safe hands!

I had my surgery on the 27th of November 2023. I had had a few consultations with other surgeons but when I met Mike something clicked that just didn’t with the other surgeons. When explaining my desired look it was almost like he was 3 steps ahead & knew exactly what I wanted & what would suit me. He explained the procedure & what was expected of me during recovery. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all. I didn’t wait & I put my deposit down that very day!

Shazia on reception kept up to date with me & helped explain some things I was struggling with. The reading material they give you is so extensive & important! Make sure you read it all. I had already done quite a bit of research on the procedure so felt pretty good going into it but typically on the morning I did start to get nervous & abit panicked! Shazia & Sofia were with me for 10-15 minutes chatting away & reassuring me - it’s just what I needed. The staff during the surgery were so great & friendly which just confirmed I was in safe hands. They kept me smiling & laughing all morning until the surgery.

Now I won’t lie to you the recovery was worse than I thought. So please prepare yourself for that. It may have been because I had my stomach & legs done but I struggled to do much for the first 3 days. Once I had my massages I started feeling so much better. Any questions I had for the team, was never too much. I think I had 2 calls with Mike, 2 with the nurse & 1 with shazia within the first week after surgery. Don’t be afraid to call! I was so worried that my questions were silly or maybe I should already know the answer but that’s what the nurses & team is there for. & I felt reassured!

I unfortunately developed a seroma which can’t be helped! & initially I got so worried but after speaking to Mike & doing my own research I know it could happen to anyone. It has been drained a few times now & if it’s one thing I really appreciate it’s the aftercare Mike has. You can tell how important his work is to him & that you are left satisfied with the results.

& the results - honestly speak for themselves!!! I cannot tell you how happy I am! & I’m not even fully recovered yet! I’ve got the body I’ve always wanted & the process was so easy!

If you want this procedure the biggest thing I would say is have realistic expectations. I wasn’t expecting to drop 3 dress sizes or be super slim within weeks. You still have to look after yourself & eat well. I also fully expect I will have small scars - how they heal is totally dependent on how your body heals. The recovery is slow & you need to do your massages. Stick to the aftercare they recommend! They know what’s best.

The biggest thank you to the team at Hans Place. I’m moving into the next part of my life feeling so confident & finally comfortable in my body. After years of disliking myself. Why go abroad when you have a surgeon like Mike on your doorstep! I’ve been recommending him to everyone!

Whilst doing my research into what surgeon and practice I wanted to go with to have my vaser lipo done, Hans Place was actually my second choice. However after having a consultation at my first option, I didn’t feel comfortable with the surgeon and they also charged me for the consultation and I had to have an initial consultation with his PA before even meeting the surgeon, which I had to make another appointment for. After reading the positive reviews I decided to have a consultation with Dr Mike Commins at Hans Place. I called and spoke to Sofia who was very kind and made me feel immediately at ease, and I was pleased to find out I wasn’t being charged for my consultation and also didn’t have to have an initial consultation before meeting Dr Commins. After my first consultation I knew I wanted Dr Commins to perform the surgery on me, and I don’t regret my decision. I am now 6 months post surgery, I had my stomach, flanks and armpit area/chest done. The amount of fat removed from my stomach was perfect and I like the level of definition. I do have some fibrosis, but that’s a completely normal part of the healing process, and unfortunately there is no surgeon alive that can avoid it, it’s just a response to tissue damage and will go away with time, and has already started to dissipate with me. I have my touch up appointment booked in, for more work on my flanks and chest. My chest still needs to be a lot more defined, but I am pretty confident Dr Commins will be able to achieve my desired results after seeing what he was able to do with my stomach. I’ll be back to follow up on my review after my touch ups, but I am pleased so far and optimistic about what the final results may look like. I would also like to thank the lovely Shazia for getting all my appointments booked in and answering all my questions.

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Hans Place.

I went to 4 doctors in total, and all the other doctors had a ‘patient co-ordinator’ with them, who awkwardly sat there during quite an intimate conversation. Then brought you outside, told you the price and called a few days later.

With Dr. Comins, it was just us two and he took the time to explain everything, a few other doctors had said I could do with some additional treatments to tighten the skin and he said I didn’t need it. I loved his honesty, manner and expertise. He was mid range price wise but I was all about having the right surgeon.

His team are all incredible. I loved Sofia and Shazia at the reception desk. The nurses on the day are also lovely. I had to go in for a second round of surgery and again, had a fantastic experience. Since then, Dr. Comins has asked to see me until all the swelling comes down.

I’ve been to the surgeons you are looking at. They are good, but Dr. Comins is the best. Go with him and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you everyone at Hans Place.

I was referred to Dr Cummins by a client. Best recommendation ever. The staff on reception Sofia and Shazzia were brilliant & very patient answering all my questions.This man is an artist and transforms the shape of your body. I had upper, lower tummy and sides done, the transformation was instant, in under a week with bruising and swelling you can see the results already Can’t wait to see after swelling goes down will be even better.

I had lipo done years ago on my tummy by a general surgeon and was never happy. You definitely need a doctor who specialise in this area and Mike is the man.

I can't recommend Hans Place highly enough. I first visited Dr Mike Comins for liposuction to my abdomen in the summer of 2023 and came back in yesterday for a review. I am very pleased with the results and Dr Comins recommended a small revision/touch up procedure which will take place later this month without charge. He is a highly skilled surgeon.

The rest of the team make Hans Place a calm and pleasant environment. Sofia and Shazia did a great job preparing me for the procedure and were very welcoming.

Dr Mike Comins is a legend! What a talent, and so professional and kind. I actually went to him many years ago for a consultation but wasn’t brave enough to go ahead with a procedure until now. After a few other consultations over the years with other doctors, I decided to go back to Mike Comins and so glad I did. My experience from start to finish was fantastic, the team are phenomenal especially Shazia on reception, Nurse Kate and their anaesthetist. The practise itself is warm and inviting, not clinical feeling at all, more like a library, and I felt safe and comfortable prior, during and after my procedure despite being extremely nervous! I am thrilled with the results, Dr Mike listened to what I wanted and delivered. All my follow up appointments have been easy, he is a perfectionist and has been treating my swelling with care. 6 months post-op and I’m so happy, I’ve recommended it to so many! If you’re on the fence, do it!

Amazing! I don’t know where to begin - I met with Dr comings in July we discussed surgery and I booked vaser lipo with renuvion for 13th November- I was a little nervous as I had not had sedation before only GA but I arrived at the clinic with my husband- I was taken to change and then a whole host of questions to ensure everything was ok to proceed- the surgery went extremely well and my results are incredible after only one week (so far) - Dr Comings is a expert is his field of work after 25 years - I cannot recommend him highly enough and his amazing team who looked after me - I was the only patient that day and felt very well looked after - if you are considering vaser lipo please do not look to go anywhere else - Dr Comings is a total gentleman and I cannot thank him enough for making me feel so much better - thank you so much and to all your staff 😊
