We have just completed the exchange on my father’s bungalow, and I wanted to take a moment to express how positive our experience has been throughout the process. Buying or selling a property can be incredibly stressful, especially when it involves a family home, but the communication and service we received from Haart made a real difference at every stage.

From start to finish, the team was responsive, supportive, and consistently professional. They kept us well informed, answered our questions promptly, and helped guide us through what could otherwise have been an overwhelming experience.

A very special thanks must go to Lia, who has been an absolute star throughout. Her dedication, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed. She brought reassurance when it was needed most and handled everything with care and efficiency.

We are truly grateful for all the support and would not hesitate to recommend Haart to others going through a similar journey.

Absolutely horrendous experience with Haart from beginning to end - perhaps the worst property management company I’ve ever worked with as a landlord. DO NOT entrust your property to this company. Unacceptable levels of poor customer service, no follow up, shoddy management and a lack of communication and willingness to do anything to effectively resolve issues. Simply atrocious!

I’ve returned to the review on 01/01/2026 allowing Haart sufficient time to respond to my original review in October 2024 - NO RESPONSE. Says it all really. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS company, no standards and no customer service ethos or practice - AVOID.

We signed up to sell our house with Haart Enfield Office in April 2024 the manager at the time Farooq ( or so he told us ) made lots of promises how they were experts in the area for selling this type of property, how they would do amazing pictures and contact us on a weekly basis with updates and so on, he even gave us his personal contact number. After 2 weeks Farooq was no more due to some suspicious circumstances. We were told Haart's got rid of him and the Enfield Office no longer done sales only lettings. We were reassured not to worry because now Haart Southgate branch had taken our property and Rolanda the manager and Fiona in sales would be dealing with it. We tried contacting them but their communication was terrible we never heard anything back from them, no calls, no updates, nothing. On the 27th of June, Rolanda called but this was actually by mistake she had received one of our many messages and thought we were new customers looking to sell and I had to explain to her that they already had our listing. I asked why there had been no contact and she advised that the £375,000 asking price that they had originally advised on should be reduced to £350,000 so we agreed and she also said the pictures would be updated because they were so poor, a month later and this has still not been done, if you look on their website or Rightmove you can easily see them and judge for yourself.Its now end of July and we have still had no updates, messages or responses to our calls. In 1 more month the 20 week contract that we signed up for will end and we ill use Kings or another reputable local agent who is actually based in Enfield.

It wasn’t enough that they could not in any way do there job properly .. there was no way of contacting them .. didn’t reply to endless emails .. didn’t answer there phones
This went on for more than a year and eventually after the tenant had vandalized my flat they could not do the deposit claim properly and I ended up loosing thousands
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

Rolanda Politakis and Joanna Gregoriou Haart estate agents Southgate were patient and easy to deal with. Joanna was very helpful, friendly, and Rolanda was assertive and helped with the long process of selling and buying which took a few months. Long time to get there but the two of them helped a lot. 5 major issues
1. Difficult to get in touch with as either landlord or tenant - and this has been an issue for at least 18 months
2. Tenant needed dishwasher issue resolved - after 6 weeks with no response from Haart, the tenant contacted me directly so the I ended up resolving the issue directly (not Haart who were collecting a fee for managing the property).
3. The tenant had an issue with flooding - again no response from Haart, the tenant contacted me directly so the I ended up resolving the issue directly (not Haart who were collecting a fee for managing the property). I needed to visit the property, engage with insurers and arrange repairs myself.
4. There was an issue with electrics - again no response from Haart, the tenant contacted me directly so the I ended up resolving the issue directly (not Haart who were collecting a fee for managing the property). I needed to visit the property, engage with insurers and arrange repairs myself.
5. The tenant's tenancy agreement was allowed by Haart to expire - even though I had discussed with Haart what renewal terms were needed and the tenant had agreed. This was negligence by Haart ..

After all this, I did visit the Southgate office in person to get them to explain why I had been paying a management fee for over a year - with no evidence of service? Before that visit, lots and lots of emails ... I informed Haart again that since they were not providing a management service I wanted to end the letting agreement!

And the best part is that they expect me to pay a termination fee on a letting agreement they allowed to lapse!!

Still withholding money from me that they said they would not take, due to such appalling service over the last few months - and still no response to any communications from my side. Like I have said before, the service is so poor that I am sure they are doing it on purpose and I honestly think Haart are trying to bankrupt themselves - therefore do not ever use them

Manda, provided a very Excellent service and was very knowledgeable. Never felt pressured and was given all the information I required. I would definitely recommend his services.

Unlawfully withholding my deposit based of falsified claims even though I have proof and confirmation from the landlord to fully release. Non responsive to emails or calls so had to open a dispute. Currently in the process of reporting them and seeking legal advice. AVOID!

I tried to get hold of any of the maintenance team to fix a leaking problem which I reported on 29.10.2022, at the point the leaking got out of control on 21/12/2022 and I had to call someone to get it fixed on my expense. I sent the invoice of £120 to the Area Manager and the Property Manager but they keep ignoring that particular email.
I understand the landlord's disappointment. I have experienced it on several occasions. I am not surprised our landlord's decision to give us Section 21 notice, as of the appalling service and the miscommunication we receive.

Haart Southgate is the worst agency ever stay away of it . Washing machine probably 10 yo broke and they asked me to pay for it. Don’t answer to emails. Just rubish

Terrible Estate company.I have several problems with landlord and they have property management... we did not have Heating all winter , washing mashing broken and they told me to pay for it and for the fees for the plumber and the landlord lives downstairs and they do not pay utilities and we have tO pay for everything...tolal illegal. they do not help me....with anything..I am very frustrated and I will go to court for all those above problems...Do not go in Haart Southgate ....useless

Stay away from this company. We have been trying to evict our tenant after service of a Section 21 notice which expired in April. We have been paying rent and legal insurance as well as management fees for the past two years. We found out the other day that Haart have done nothing to start the process! They just keep taking our money but provide zero service. The insurance (Homelet) have been chasing Haart for some simple information to get the claim started and they continue to fail to provide this. So the eviction process has not even started. Neither the management or Southgate lettings team answer the phone or respond to emails. An absolute and utter disgrace!! A pathetic excuse for a lettings agent!

Haarts suffer from bureaucracy in its management department which can occur in large organisations and can be extremely frustrating. I say this from many years experience dealing with haarts ( and several other agents across London). However recent dealings have been much better. Charlotte, Tatiana and Monet have each been efficient , responsive and friendly. If everyone acted like them in the upper echelons of Haarts, it would be a much more efficient company.
