Needed a security system and after a fair bit of research I decided on Guadfather. The YouTube video Simon made explaining the system and how to set it up is very useful.
The system came in a couple of days.
Fitting and setting up the system was easy to do. The one problem I had ( of my own making) was sorted straight away after wotsapping Simon. I wasn’t expecting a reply straight away as it was fairly late in the evening, but within a few minutes I got a reply which helped me correct my mistake.
Now the system is set up and working and it’s excellent. I’ve got a dog so needed a pet friendly system, which this is. The app is very easy to use and works well. I honestly cannot fault the system or the service I’ve had from Guardfather.

Easy to install and very impressed with the whole system and excellent Customer Service I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is after a good and reasonable pricing alarm system

Wanted a non-subscription, UK security system and found Guardfather online. System arrived within a couple of days and was straight forward to install with reference to the excellent YouTube tutorials. Just had one query about operability of the system which I submitted via the 'Contact Us' link on the Guardfather webpage; Simon had sent full details of what I needed to know within a quarter of an hour, with offer of further support should I need it! Very impressed overall and would certainly recommend.

I've left it a month since I ordered the kit so I could run it through its paces, see what works and see what doesn't, and I'm pleased to say once setup it's worked like a charm.
I had some initial issues getting it set up but this was through a faulty router, nothing to do with the Guardfather but I was still helped through the issue and once resolved the installation was a breeze, the packaging is really well thought out, the instruction videos are nice and clear. I was worried that I'd never seen this system reviewed on any other site, but after emailing back and forth I decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. It's worked flawlessly so far, and based on my experience I have no problem recommending it. Excellent, well thought out system, great customer service and I even got some free chocolate with the order which was a very nice unexpected touch but shows they care about the little things.

After carefully reviewing many alarm systems online, I decided to go with Guard Father, and I’m so glad I did.

From start to finish, the whole experience was excellent. The communication was fantastic, the pricing was very competitive, and the DIY installation was incredibly straightforward. Simon was always on hand to answer any questions I had, making the whole process simple and stress-free.

The system itself looks sleek and modern, and the app works flawlessly. It’s intuitive, responsive, and very user-friendly, giving me complete confidence that my home is protected.

bought this system to replace my old house alarm, and fair play it was so easy to fit it was done in 2 hours and up and running, and the add-ones could be installed later on with no fuss, once ordered it arrived in no time and i can't believe the price very good and i followed simons vids to a tee i would highly recommend this system.

Having researched social media in particular YouTube, to establish whether WiFi security systems were worth considering, I came across Guardfather and liked what I saw. The kit was ordered late afternoon and arrived the following morning, well packaged and all items included. Each item was clearly labelled and with set up guidance available online, it was straightforward even for a 68 year old non-techy like me, to get the system up and running. True, I did have a couple of queries but these were responded to within minutes via a WhatsApp assistance contact number provided. This even included a personal phone call. Excellent all round and I'm more than happy to recommend this security system.

Having done some research on alarm systems we came across the Guardfather. It worked similar to our old outdated system with no monthly/ yearly subscription charges. However, the kit and the apps seem much sturdier and user friendly. Once we ordered it we were surprised to have it delivered the following day.
We followed Simon's extensive video and managed to set the system up without any hiccups. The only issue we had was with a key fob showing a low battery. Simon managed to overcome this problem easily. He also answered our questions promptly.
He has promised to let us know when the security cameras become available as these can easily be added. We have only had the system up and running for two days but it seems to be working perfectly. I have no problem recommending this system to anyone looking out for an easy to use stand alone system. I also feel happier using a smaller company and helping someone making his way in life.

Was on the market to find an alarm system for my niece, came across the Guardfather on browsing the internet. My niece bought the system online and it arrived the next day. I was to install it for her. Following an issue with the setup contacted Simon for help, after an email from Simon i was up a running. It is now installed on my niece’s house with no problems. The Guardfather is very easy to program and install and I would highly recommend the brand.

So we were in the market for an alarm system, obviously contacted the "Usuals" After meeting them the systems sounded amazing however for full use you Will pay! We came across 'The Guardfather' No monthly fees, a stand alone system with everything we needed as it is a build you own system! We did want camera's also, so upon contact we were informed these would be available soon and could easily be added to the existing system! From 1st contact Simon was utterly amazing. The customer service is second to none, there were no pushy sales tactics, his knowledge is fantastic. I was clear that we were still weighing up our options on the the right system for us, but this did not deter Si from giving us great advice. We opted for the most popular system recommended and popped on a couple of additional items. Delivery was quick! Everything looks classy and modern! Setting the kit up is pretty straightforward however not being too tech savvy there were a couple of hiccups on our part! This however was not a problem as the excellent customer service does not end after purchase. Si took control of our App and set up the system tailored to our needs. I would look no further for any security needs than 'The Guardfather' we are already recommending this company to anyone we speak to!

I saw the Guardfather video on Youtube by co-incidence.
I was impressed it looked easy to install, simple, the right price and what I was looking for.
The basic package was more than enough. I didn't purchase a siren or garden detector,
The installation was simple following the video Simon has created. I chose to drill to fix, excpet on the door where 3M seemed an easier option.
The delivery was very quick I'd say the day after I ordered it. The components seem sturdy and well made.
Set up no problem as I say, I was contacted to see if all was ok. I had a simple question for which an explanation which was rapidly forthcoming.
I see this system as a deterrent. I dont have many valuables, I wanted 'something rather than nothing at all'. This fits that need.
There is a feature to isolate the upstairs and have the downstairs on only for might time usage.
The customer service is excellent.

I only noticed guardfarther on YouTube though Simon’s videos when looking for an alarm system. From first post on contact to instalment Simon has been easy to take to and get in touch with day or night. If anyone’s looking for a system I would 100% recommend guardfarther. If your not sure get in touch and they will explain everything

The whole experience has been first class.
I was looking for a new wireless security system and investigated a number of different vendors (Yale / Simplisafe) and was recommended to review the Guardfather.
The communication with Simon was excellent so we purchased the “bundle” with an additional external siren & PIR sensor. The kit arrived the next day and we then installed this a day later and it was all done in 2hrs, the step-by-step you tube videos were very easy to follow and the post install support has been great.
The correspondence with the support team is very quick.

The system has been in for 5-days and so far so good!…👍🏻

After 35 years my old wired alarm gave up the ghost and I decided to replace it with a wireless system. After looking around as to what was available. My criteria were as follows. Keyfob enabled arm and disarm - external sounder with L.E.D continuous switchable display-- simplicity of operation and most importantly ,ease of d.i.y installation One product stood out to me The Guardfather alarm system the reason being the owner of the company has a series of videos covering the full installation and setting up of the alarm on youtube . After watching the installation vids several times I decided to purchase a custom system using the advice contained in the videos.

The system arrived by next day tracked delivery and after downloading and registering the Guardfather app I proceeded to install the quality components ,and using the videos provided it was so easy to install. The system already has the basic settings from the get go but everything is adjustable using the app to individual requirements

I cannot recommend this product highly enough for installation and ease of use aftersales advice are second to none , Highly recommended

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

The system itself I was sold on before it arrived and to be honest, I was not dissapointed. However, when we had a couple of minor problems with the install, it was the lightning fast support from Guardfather that really assured me we had make the right choice with this system.

Dispite the couple of minor problems we had, it worked right out of the box, was easy to install, and offered a range of additional features I would only expect to find on a suystem costing 2 or 3 times what we paid for this.

I honestly can not recommend both the Guardfather system and the support team enough.

Purchased my alarm system and have had it up and running a few days now. The system is pretty easy to set up and everything works really well out of the box. I used the what’s app number also, having had a small problem with a detector and our cat, but all cleared up within minutes thanks to Simon.
Overall, great product, great customer service. Couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase.

I have been looking for a DIY alarm system for a while and I came across Guardfather security. I've never heard of this company before and I looked into it and some some research. I previously had a DIY alarm system and it was hard to set up.

I got in touch via email to ask a couple of questions and Simon got back to me straight away, even after working hours. I always prefer a smaller company as the customer service is excellent. Simon answered all my questions and I then purchased the system.

Installing the system was so easy, the app is straight forward to use and really simple to add the components to the hub.

I did have a problem with the hub initially, but like with all electronic items these things happen but got in touch via the number provided and the problem was solved asap.

I have tested the system multiple times and it works amazing and my home feels safer.

Customer service is excellent and the alarm system is excellent, I would 100% recommend this system to anyone, I have already showed my friends and family and they are considering buying it as well.

Very pleased with the alarm system, Very quick to setup and easy to use won’t hesitate to order other items as and when needed!

I found this company after doing a google search for alarm companies, after watching all the you tube videos I was impressed by what I’d seen enough to place a tailor made order with them. Fast delivery and everything accounted for. The installation was easy and very quick. This is exactly what I needed and I’m WELL IMPRESSED with the results.
