I was a bit worries about ordering from here given some of the other reviews, but I had an excellent experience. I ordered a 4' 5 bar gate and associated fixings and it was delivered promptly by dpd (less than 48 hours from order placement). The gate looks to be of decent quality as are the fixings which appear suitably heavy duty. Add to that the competitive pricing and good stock availability and I think I'll be back for more. They may use different couriers depending on the product etc, but for me this was an excellent online shopping experience.

Tried to order 72 spindles at £144.00, but the checkout keeps asking for £864.00.

Product not as described- fence posts ordered with a smooth face finish, they supplied ones that have been perforated in the pressure treatment, not the same product !
Griggs Agri should use an image that truly represent the product your selling.

Reading through the other reviews it is clear to me that there is an opening in the market for a good courier company . I had issues with the courier but Harvey from Griggs was amazing. Kept me up to date on everything and as soon as something went wrong he was quick to resolve . I have had three large shipments from Griggs over the past 18 months and Harvey has gone above and beyond

Delivery gone missing. Received a damaged set of gates initially so arranged to have a new set delivered. Two weeks later and no gates, even though they say they've sent them with a courier. Now they can't tell me where the gates are or whether they are going to arrive. Will need to file a chargeback with my bank soon.

Ordered some wooden planks as no-one near me does them still not delivered have emailed no proper excuse given. Telephoned and told someone will call me back no has yet bothered and also no deliveries by carrier done at weekends complete joke

Oh dear looks like I have been conned !
Ordered 160 tablets Persil Non Bio Tablets and received 1 box of 56 tablets but took my money for the 160 pack.
Lets see what response I get !

Ordered to be delivered. I'm disabled and they do not specify I would have to help carry anything. The delivery man was on his own, was rude and became shirty with me. He expected me to carry 6ft fence panels! I said that my young son can help, he's just putting his trainers on. The man got annoyed again shouting that he couldn't carry on his own. Not to mention I didn't know when they were delivering! No update nothing. Some people are disabled that don't look disabled!! Rude, impatient and unpleasant .. no call for it .. disgusting attitude and no communication. Gave it 2 star due to the products ordered were fine.

Products OK but contact left much to be desired. They gave a Trace number un recognised by their delivery company. The delivery company failed to give the 24 hour notice of delivery and just arrived with two very large gates unannounced I sent an email asking and the gates turned up that day. Griggs reply was "Records show delivered today" Not a sorry thank you or anything

Needed fence posts after the recent storm.

Ordered (Simple), delivered good quality fencing timber to North Yorks in only 2 days. Excellent service from their courier - Tuffnells - helpful driver who helped offload and stack.

You can only speak from experience, and I will certainly be using Griggs again.

Ordered 2x Kramp Glass Cleaner VR 100 - 1 litre and got a totally different product with a note saying "can offer antifreeze ? Product comes up that when scanned" but my invoice still bills me for 2 x Kramp Glass Cleaner VR 100 - 1 litre.
Now I will have to start the process of jumping through hoops to get this product returned and refunded all time I do not have, It was a very easy process picking my order and paying but once my money was gone its all down hill. I do not know what is going on with UK online traders just lately this is my forth bad experience in a month with the same kind of thing, they just send anything they want after payment is made. Looks like every where is trying to dump inferior products on good paying customers in the hope they just accept them.

Absoultely useless, shocking service.

I order posts and joists, post arrived, but no joists, after 6 weeks still waiting for the joists, many communications, always being told, they were looking into the order, never get back to me, bar once from a guy called Jason, whom then never retunrs my calls or replies to my emails. This company is an absolute joke, you couldnt make up thier incompetance. If you cant deliver whats somebody wants then just inform them and let them go else where. I hope thier management read this and make the changes needed to put the customer first.
What I terrible experiance, shame on you.
I am now into the process of collecting my monies, which I will do.!

Very impressed with this company... I first sent an email enquiry and it was answered very quickly. Online ordering was easy and two days later my items have been delivered. 2 6ft gates and 2 x 200mmx200mm posts.
Good quality items at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend this company.

The initial ordering process went through fine. 3 parts arrived damaged and another 3 parts missing. When chasing these up had to wait several working days between responses to emails. they seemed in no hurry whatsoever to resolve. in the end, it took 3 weeks to get all parts and I just accepted the damaged ones. they apologized for the poor service and promised to at least refund the postage costs, but guess what they never did. I cant be bothered to chase that up as they obviously need the money more than they care about their reputation or customer image, but I felt I should put a value on my missing refund with this review.

Ordered some wooden joists great prices and considering we live near Leeds we received our order within a few days will definitely use again Harvey on customer care was friendly and very helpful with enquiries thanks again.

Terrible company,ordered goods which were in stock at the time and they duly took payment,after a week on a Friday we contacted them to say we had not received delivery and they stated that our order would be delivered on the Monday,so we changed our plans to be home to help with the delivery but it did not turn up,we contacted company on the Tuesday to be told that the goods were out of stock and they did not know when they would get anymore and we would not be getting our order,we did get a refund but this does not make up for the terrible service,they also failed to reply to e-mails.Would never use them again as we had to wait over a week to find out that they did not have stock and to issue a refund which could have all been done the day after ordering and we would have accepted that a mistake had been made regarding stock.I do not understand why companys treat their customers this way.
