They used to be dependable but twice they made a mistake and refused to pay out. One payment cycle the paypal payment bounced back so I emailed the customer service and she said I would be paid the following cycle. I didn't receive it the following cycle, so I emailed the same customer service rep and she said that I already received it last time. I sent her the screenshot of the email from when she said I would get it in the next cycle and she never replied.

Also I applied for the ScotiaBank credit card and used their link. After filling in the online portion on the Scotia website, I was prompted to go in person to complete the rest of the sign-up to verify my i.d. Well payment cycle time arrives and lo and behold I never receive my bonus. I even sent them the screenshot of my tab of GCR while i was signing up from their link. The same lady who does the customer service was extremely rude and said I should have came to her earlier. How was I supposed to know that the sign up wasn't going to go through?

I was supposed to receive $300 in cash bonuses that never went through.

I signed up for direct deposit with my bank. I have personally never had issues with receiving their credit card rewards and the process is quite smooth.

Prompt in confirming the reward and later crediting it, per my recent experience. Credit Card Genius has turned out very unreliable this year.

I got an email stating that I’d be paid in January (I had already been waiting over a month and there was no possibility of “maybe” being paid in March) then they sent me a follow up email telling me that the merchant is experiencing delays in processing requests and the payout was extended to late March. Scam website using every excuse in the book not to pay out.

My bet is that they’ll cash in on my rebate and never reply to the email I sent them a month ago.

They do everything to avoid paying you out. They get paid, you do not. Doesn't matter if you follow all their rules. Site is a scam.
