My break with go singles was lovely to say the least but all i wanted was a holiday to celebrate a number of things that i had acomplished in that year, the arrival in malta was delayed, then was shown to a private car when everyone else presumably were in a coach so they would have known about the "go singles"group?
so i only went off a number incase of emergencies.
knowing not one passenger and shy as flown alone
the overwhelmingness. was slow but after the exciting excursions which filled the time i was not left alone much. there was a Meet and greet sess going on in the week of Christmas and new year but as it wasn't made clear on the app i did not attend.post was there when got back! the excursion to velletta later on in the week was boring outdated and as was.
think my rate applauds this, as is,it is scary going though flights and soloing but if your thirst for adventure or just relaxing i recommend to GO

This is an honest review, and I wish I had read previous reviews before I booked with Gosingles.
To clarify I did go over the Christmas period, but that should not make a difference as it was advertised as a Christmas/Festive break.
The transfer from the airport to the hotel was the first issue as I had to make a telephone call to find out where they were as I could not locate anyone with a GoSingles board. I did finally locate the driver and two other members of the party, who also had trouble locating the driver.
The hotel was fine, the room was clean and what I was expecting. The age demographic of the guests was more to the elder side, but thats to be expected.
No sign of any representative from GoSingles were present or when they would be around.
There was meant to be five in our group, but we never did see any sign of the other two members, but seeing as there wasn't a welcoming meeting we would not have had a clue who they were.
I messaged, via the app, my disappointment of the lack of anyone from GoSingles being present. That afternoon when I went back to my room, there was a letter on the floor which said that the rep was surprised that no one was around at 14.30 for a meet and greet, and we should all go to reception to find out about a table that they had arranged for us all to eat at.
I did this and reception had no idea what I was on about.
All of this aside, I did enjoy my stay in Malta but this had nothing to do with GoSingles. Their input went as far as taking the money and booking a hotel and flights, which I could easily have done myself and saved some money.
Again, this is my honest review and experience of using GoSingles. I won't be using them again

Go Singles was rather a disappointing experience.
The first warning sign of poor service was when I arrived at Gatwick and noticed that Easy Jet provided a two tier cabin bag policy. (I had never flown with Easy Jet before).
Go Singles web booking procedure did not give me the option to select large cabin bag.
The only option they provided was one small soft bag free, resulting in me having to choose the only other option provided by Go Singles of an exorbitant fee for 20 kg hold luggage just for my 9.2 kg bag. (No option to choose less than 20 kg)
My bag would have been within the large cabin bag range and cost a minimum of £5.99.

While I am full of praise for Hotel Santana, the meals, the facilities and its staff (who were all friendly and efficient) the Go Singles part of the holiday was below par for the cost.
I met with two fellow Go Singles after landing in Malta when we met the transfer driver, and it appeared to all of us that we were just a party of three. We were not informed otherwise until near the end of the week, in a rather curt note pushed under each of our room doors.
This note was from the Go Singles representative who had come to the hotel that afternoon. In his note he seemed to be a little annoyed that we were not in attendance for his visit.
Had we been previously advised of his intended visit then I am sure we would have tried to accommodate him.
Inside the welcome envelope, received at check in, a letter stated that the representative would visit on the date and time stated on the front of the envelope. However the envelope gave only our arrival and departure times.
Their representative’s note also advised of his arrangement for the hotel to provide a reserved table for our party (of apparently five). Again this had not been previously informed to us until near the end of the week. By this time we three had already been meeting occasionally together at meal times. Because there was only one planned excursion we had spent our days on our individual explorations of what Malta had to offer which resulted in us sometimes returning back at the hotel at different times and therefore missing each other at meal times.
Which brings me to the single provided excursion.
Granted, that our holiday began over the Christmas period and I make small allowances that some excursions would not be available, however our one included excursion, to Valletta, was not until the very last full day of our stay, by which time, I for one, had visited Valletta three times (once even on Christmas Day) so there wasn’t much that I had missed in and around Valletta. Our excursion could have been made within the first couple of days which would have given the three of us the opportunity to meet with the other two of our party. We never did get to know who they were.
So all in all I echo what the other two of our trio have said about Go Singles in our meal time conversations, which was much on the lines of the foregoing comments.
Perhaps Go Singles will take these observations under consideration for future planning.

The Queen Hotel was a lovely place, a bit of a walk into the city. Went into the centre a couple of evenings. It had stated entertainment on 2 nights. Christmas night was just a lady singing during the simple buffet and stopped at 8.30. Couldn't call it evening entertainment. Boxing night was great, proper entertainment and we were all up dancing. Food ok but only cheesecake for desert each day

No planned entertainment - It would have made a lot of difference if there was organised entertainment by Go Singles.

Also, the mattress in the hotel was sinking in the middle with some hard lumps also, making it very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the holiday.

I had a wonderful time over the Christmas break in Chester. I met some lovely people, enjoyed the delicious menu and dancing and found Chester a great place to visit with all its history. I would encourage anyone travelling solo to give it a try, and there is no single supplement to pay.

It was only a short break, with little opportunity to get to know everybody. However, those i spoke to were friendly and there to enjoy themselves.

Nothing was organised (apart from the food times). It was meant to be relaxing.

This is the second Go Singles holiday I have been on and once again I have had a fabulous time. I hadn’t been on a river cruise before, but would certainly go again! I cannot fault the organisation of the holiday and was kept in touch throughout the whole process receiving detailed information about the itinerary, excursion vouchers and boarding passes. The accommodation was excellent as was the food. I met some really wonderful people and shared some very happy holiday moments with them. All in all fantastic holiday and I would highly recommend Go Singles. They will look after you so just book!

I booked a holiday with Go Singles for Christmas 2024 to Cuba. They asked for the balance mid October which I duly paid. Two weeks later they cancelled my holiday, citing insufficient people for a group booking. I’ve asked for a full refund which they tell me will take 14 working days, I want to book an alternative trip but can’t until they repay the almost £4K I’ve paid them.

It should not take that long to refund monies paid especially when it’s their choice to cancel my trip.

Not a great experience for a new customer and still waiting for my money back… good luck with this business model!!

We were a small group of 5 on a visit to Crete. The staff at Gosingles were friendly & helpful during the booking process although my departure flight was changed to a very early flight at a late stage as I was informed the original flight was full. However, upon checking online, this was not the case.
There was no representative present upon arrival & the return transfer details were difficult to obtain.
The hotel was basic, & the food was not enjoyed by any of the group so we ate out each night at tavernas both locally & in Chania.
Overall, I was disappointed with the holiday arrangements which appear to dictated by limiting cost.

Wonderful cruise on traditional small vessel. Friendly and helpful crew. Beautiful country and people.

Had a blast on this solo exclusive Gulet Holiday in Turkey. Flight with SunExpress could not fault. Transfers timely. Met by the Captain and crew who looked after us so well for the week on the comfortable Gulet. Swam, kayaked and paddled and ate oh so well. The food was amazing. Thank you GoSingles and thank you Senay, Hatice and Yousef.

Be brave.. well worth it!
I wished I'd had the courage to do this before, had a great time, with great people in a beautiful place.
I wouldn't opt for such a small hotel again as the facilities were limited.

I was on the GoSingles Turkey holiday at the same time as the previous reviewer, ‘Me’ and had quite a different experience. My stay at the same hotel was absolutely fantastic. The 3-star hotel exceeded my expectations with its friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious food. The reps were always available and ready to assist whenever needed. I had such a great time that I’ve already decided to return to Turkey with GoSingles next year!

Just had my 3rd and sadly last trip with GS to Rhodes. Luckily we had a small group who all got on and enjoyed the week together which went someway to offset the accommodation Im adamant the listing showed a 3 star grading when I booked and thats now not mentioned and with good reason. Rooms are clean and basic ,beds are rock hard though, lots of road noise even at night, breakfast is lacking imagination but the evening meals were ok but not restaurant quality. Service is sadly a little too casual even for greek standards.

Rhodes is nice though once you leave the hotel. Lots to explore and do. Boats trips, swimming, old rhodes town are clean, safe and best visited at night. As a group, we split up at times to cater for different wants.

AVOID this holiday company at all cost! Their customer service is terrible and they use the worst hotels to save money! I recently went on a Go Singles trip to Turkey and the hotel was awful, everything was dirty a broken. Go Singles said it's a 3*** hotel. Believe me it's not. Also they have lots or hidden costs they don't mention when booking the holiday, like drinks not being included with the meals and they make out there's always a rep on hand to help you out there and this NOT the case! If you make it complaint, they dismiss it or offer you the bare minimum compensation. Also the staff on my recent trip were very rude and unhelpful when I had problems with the hotel. They really have no customer service skills at all and you're lucky if you see a rep! I will NEVER use this company again.

Cons: Group size was too small, only 6 of us. Breakfast could have had more selection.
We didn't have a 'rep', we had someone from the GS office filling in. She didn't really add anything.
Pros: The hotel was nice with a decent pool, accomodation was basic but adequate as it is Greece.
Rooms were serviced daily and we had some good evening meals.
Maria, the owner, was very friendly and happy to accommodate any requests if practical.

whilst the overall week long trip to lake Garda was a very enjoyable holiday experience in a very beautiful location and a very pleasant group of friends, i feel that it was let down in a few areas which could be improved upon for future customers, the group meeting were rushed and could have been accompanied with an A4 paper to refer to when needed to include details of local information and forward details of coach times for the excursions. a larger variation on the meals instead of veal every night and the dreaded fish in brine(should be avoided at all costs). personally the shower facilities could have been slightly larger and the decor of both the pool area and the courtyard view from the balcony were very worn and dated. however the staff couldn't do enough for us and were very pleasant at all times. overall i would not hesitate to use the same trip again if the above details were dealt with.

I must admit to been apprehensive before going but my doubts soon vanished when we met everyone- what a lovely crowd and we all seemed to get on too- the hotel was fine in an ideal location- only niggle was what was planned for the Sunday never materialised for whatever reason and my friend Peter and I arranged a 4 mile walk to Bettys at Harlow Carr gardens and back - then a visit to a local museum- then was the only damper on what was a great weekend.

I was not informed in advance that I would be charged £20 to park my car.
The welcome meeting was anything but.
