GO Outdoors - Preston Anmeldelser

Fantastic selection, Amber was very helpful and friendly. Preston is a good location with ample parking.

Been to this store recently looking at leather hiking boots and wasn’t impressed with service from young assistants who kept disappearing.
Went again today-a busy Sunday-and was extremely impressed with young assistant this time called Olly. I explained what I wanted. His knowledge was exceptional giving me confidence back and offered to bring various boots. He wasn’t pushy at all. The ones I decided on were only in stock wrong size but I will be back to see Olly. Thank you

Tidy store.
Comprehensive range and lots of choice.
Got exactly what I wanted W/ proof top and matching bottoms. Gilet and waterproofing spray for canvas shoes.
Staff helpful and smart. Great attitudes towards customers.
Shout out for Olly and the tall slim girl with long black hair at the Preston Store.

Popped in to buy new clothes store had a great range to choose from success 😊. Amber served me with a very pleasant and warm personality. All round a good experience.

Popped into the store today to purchase a pair of hiking boots. I was served by Jack and I can honestly say I was astounded by the depth of his knowledge. He took a great deal of care to ensure I went away with exactly the right boots, the right socks and even showed me how to tie them to make sure my heel doesn’t slip out, and explain how I would know when it was time to apply some wax to my boots! I feel very confident in my investment today and I was extremely grateful for Jack’s attentiveness and help making this purchase. Thank you so much.

Was greeted by Calvin. Top lad great customer service. Will definitely be coming back!

Mark very knowledgeable and really helpful. Thanks

Ordered more oex camping goods on line using the click and collect. Products were made available really quickly. Alison served us and was very knowledgeable about the camping products. Thank you.

We found exactly what we needed and Amelie went above and beyond when we got to the checkout

Fast and efficient, Amber was really helpful by helping us review our annual membership, really kind and friendly.

Awful experience. Ordered a rab coat online for my mum for Mother’s Day - due to be delivered the day before. On the day of delivery, they cancelled it and told me my refund would take 5 days. I didn’t have any more money to buy another jacket so I had to borrow it and I went to an actual store in Preston and the only one I could find was £50 more. I bought it and gave it to my mum the next day. It was too small. We went back on that same day and they said they couldn’t order us the bigger size but I could take it to the till and get a refund and find another somewhere else. Oh and obviously that refund would also take 5 days. They wouldn’t assist with advising which other localish store may have the size we needed and said they couldn’t find out for us. Terrible service - would avoid in future.

Had a great experience at GO Outdoors thanks to Alfie.

He was really friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to help us find exactly what we needed.

Nothing felt like too much trouble, and his advice was spot on.

Made the whole visit easy and enjoyable - top customer service!

The sales assistant Amber was very polite and helpful. In the product I was looking for.

Alfie was really helpful with sizes and locating items for my son’s ski trip. Very friendly and great customer service

I went into the store to buy some walking poles with no experience on using them before. I approached Jack who was absolutely amazing; he clued me in on the poles and measure me up for some Leki Lite Khumbu poles and explained all about them. Following on from that he also helped me pick a pair or Merrel hiking shoes and also explained about the soles and insoles which gave me confidence in my purchase. What an excellent service from this young man Jack. He should be recognised for his excellent customer service

Came in to swap a pair of pants because I got the wrong size.

Staff were quick, polite and friendly.

Can’t fault anything, shout out to Alfie

Went to get a fair bit of stuff for a trip up the cairngorms, and with it being a bit more adventerous than our normal trips, i was looking for a few tips, with which the staff were more than happy to help with, giving practical and economical advice, helping me save a good chunk of change, as i would have just bought the most expensive items, believing them to be the best. Alfie was especially helpful, even helping bring the heavier gear put to the car. Other companies could learn a thing or two about customer service from GO.

I love go outdoors i always get my coats from there and walking boots and trousers. They have a great range of everything you need for adventures.

We got exactly what we came out to shop for, on the sale rail which was then hit again with further discount, over the moon couldn’t have got better at any other shop, 1/3 of the price in another retailer thank you so much to Neil at deepdale for your help , very nice man

Neil was very helpful when buying a Belay Device and caribiner for my granddaughter's birthday.
All I had was a photo of a DMM Beetle Belay Device attached to a caribiner. He explained they were 2 separate pieces of equipment. Would have liked to have purchased the DMM Beetle Belay Device as it looks more sturdy than the MANTIS I have purchased. There were no DMM Beetle Belay Device in stock
Good service.
