It's now our outdoors shop of choice!
We found everything we wanted and Gareth was super attentive and helpful. He even noticed that we are National Trust members and pointed out that this meant we could get an additional discount. Will definitely be our outdoors shop of choice from now on.

Good experience
Another very good experience at go outdoors in Porthmadog. 3 young lads who looked to be running the shop were very quick to help and make conversation with me, which ended up in me leaving with 2 more items than I intended! Always have a good experience here with staff some of the kindest I have come across.

waited to be served not because there was a queue but because the 3 staff were more interested in their conversation and seemed not to have any awareness of customers ... there was a lack of customer service skills also in the perfunctory, almost to the point of rudeness, manner of processing our items and then walking away.

Proper customer service
We went looking for walking boots. Phil came over, and we spent a good 30 mins trying on and reviewing boots. He was informative, polite, knew his subject well, spent time to explain and make recommendations. Others could learn a lot.

good range of waling boots but no one to help me with any knowledge. the two staff i spoke to were friendly though . however while i was being served another member of staff was talking to my server in welsh . 1 he was interupting me. and 2 i suspect it was to make apiont as i was english in a welsh shop.

Helpful staff

Regularly visit the store in Porthmadog for outdoor clothing and equipment. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can order online and collect from that store if not in stock there.
