Beth was amazing at helping me find some waterproof boots for work, very happy with them - great to have dry feet after a disappointing purchase at another company.
Beth was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny!

Good quality and value for money in all departments.
Excellent service from Matt at checkout, happy to chat about my purchase and give advice, nice to have a staff member who knew and fishing.

Wanted to say thank you to Matt for helping my son get some fishing kit. He caught a fish using advice Matt gave him, so thank you! I hope he’s there when we come back in again for some more bits!!

Came in looking for a sleeping bag and was assisted eventually by Matt who helped me and gave me some great tips n tricks for my wild camping trip. Very knowledgeable and very pleased with my experience.. 5 Stars

Every once in a while, you encounter someone who transforms a routine purchase into an unforgettable experience. That was Ollie. I went in looking for a festival tent, and he delivered a masterclass in elite customer service.Finding the right gear can be overwhelming, but Ollie stepped in with deep expertise, infectious energy, and genuine passion. He didn't just sell me a product; he took the time to understand exactly what I needed and handpicked the ultimate festival fortress for my upcoming trip. He invested in my journey and officially set the gold standard for what customer experience should look like.If you want gear tailored to perfection by someone who truly cares, go see Ollie. He didn’t just help me buy a tent—he launched my next great adventure!

I bought some Scarpa gtx shoes today in the large ‘outdoor megastore’, my first visit.
Expecting fair prices, I was pleased and surprised by the high level of staffing. Most large outfits like this are undermanned by a handful of uninformed and unenthusiastic individuals. Go Outdoors is not.
Good footwear is expensive and deciding takes time.
Steph, who looked after me, answered all my questions (I’m a bit fussy) from an informed perspective, and made the experience very refreshing

I visited the Plymouth store to help my husband buy some walking shoes but I ended up buying two pairs myself! Teesh was so knowledgeable but not pushy and this made a real difference by putting me at ease and not under pressure. Megan S was also very friendly on the checkout so I will definitely visit again. Go Outdoors seem to recruit staff who know exactly what customer service is!

Really friendly staff, I was served by Steph who was super helpful and chatty, overall, I was really impressed with the store. There were staff everywhere offering to help, a hugely enjoyable experience!

Simon helped me with some walking shoes. Great advice, super fast getting all the choices out of store. Great experience.

Met Matt on several occasions at the Plymouth store , very helpful and knowledgeable on the fishing section, advised me on what I needed and how to set it up, this is the kind of person you need in store. Whilst I was there a young lad came up to Matt and asked for help and Matt was very helpful to him.

Haven't visited for a while but once again found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me find just what I needed and never tried to force more expensive products on me.

Was a good experience picking up new course fishing Gear, Matt was very helpful in helping me with what I needed to take on course fishing.

We visited the Plymouth store today to buy fishing equipment. As complete novices we needed advice on choosing the right rod. Matt was super helpful, even coming off his break to help.
Five star service from him, gave great advice and excellent customer service even helping set up the rod and gave our young man tips and tricks, showing him how to tie the knots securely. What an amazing service and asset to the store. Highly recommend Matt for all your fishing needs.

Latesha was SO helpful and was able to answer all our questions and Nana at the till was also helpful

Quick and easy, ordered on line and collected a couple of hours later.
