Visited the Lowestoft store today at 16.00, only to find it closed due to "circumstances beyond our control" (?). There was a list of opening times on the door, which were variable. I've read the reviews here, which I accept are genuine, based on my own favourable experiences at other Go Outdoors outlets. However, whatever the 'circumstances' may be, I thought when they opened in London Road South that its possibly the wrong location. Maybe not easy to get a unit, but North Quay would be a bettrr bet. M&S, B&M and Boots could be anywhere and still be busy, but the London Road South profile is not really 'the great outdoors' enthusiast. But all the very best to store and staff.

Harri at Lowestoft store particularly helpful.
We'd bought a tent from Go Outdoors in Norwich but they didn't have the carpet to go with it. I phoned the Lowestoft store which was quickly answered by Harri. He was particularly helpful, checked their stock and put aside a carpet and ground sheet for us to collect. Very pleasant and helpful young man who's a credit to Go Outdoors.
